I ve had a good experience here every time I ve gone. The first time my car needed a lot of work, but the prices were very fair and the work was quality. The second time was because I had a concern, but it turned out there was no issue, and they didn t charge me. Hard to find a fair, competent, honest Mechanic these days. Come see Mo and he will treat you right

Moe help fixed my engine shaking problem which is nice. But later on I realized the money they charged me is absurdly high. They charged me 34$ for each single spark plugs and 189$ for spark plug wire. I went to another repair shop and they told me they only charge about 13$ for the best spark plugs on my Miata and about 60$ for spark plugs wire.I would only suggest this shop if you live near it and your car condition doesn t allow you to go to another.

I don't recommend this shop, totally none trust ppl, prices high, service poor.I went there , they fixed problems that my car didn't need, the main problem they didn't fix it, they give 2 diagnostic wrong.I think they stolen my parts car, I'm not recommend them, if you go there is under your own risk

I had good experience with this shop. My car was in the non-operating condition when it went in and I was worried about they may charge me a lot. They did a quick and good repair with very reasonable and transparent cost. So I am delighted with the outcome and will use them again/====Well after having a good experience with this place, I repeated . The second time is not a charm, unfortunately. Had brake noise and have them done some service. The second day when I drove I heard funny noises from the wheels and the cars was wobbly when turning. Got down and looked at the wheels, apparently the mechanic forgot to put all the nuts back and tighten them. Called the shop and the owner insisted that it wasn t their fault and suggested someone may have tried to steal my wheel nuts. I am disappointed that the owner is more interested in escaping responsibility than worrying about my safely. Additionally I noticed that the shop replaced some parts with low quality after market replacement and charged a ton. Not so cool this time.

Driving up to the Bay Area with a Ram 4500 truck. Departed very early from San Diego County. Over the Grapvine into the valley turned on the A/C. It was warm. Tried everything we could think of, but no use. Fortunately not too hot and was nice with windows down. Found Sunnyvale Auto Repair, checked the excellent reviews.Gave a call, talked with Mo and was told bring it in and he would take a look, but might take a bit. Arrived about 12:45 told him I would wait. I am a disabled vet and had my scooter. Mo had the a/c system looked at and explained what would be needed, checked parts and estimated the cost. I explained I need the truck tonight. He could not promise but would try his best. We talked and I could tell he is honest and would follow through. If I had not been confident in Mo, I would have waited until I got home since people were depending on me. He had one of his team drop me off with family in my truck with instructions to return to the shop just before 5.One of the parts was to be at the shop at 3 pm. Turned out the 3 pm part was not going to make it. Mo sent his driver all the way to Oakland to get it. That is real customer service! The entire job was completed before 5 pm as Mo said. The Air is so cold that I will not be taking any male polar bears in my truck.I am very aware of good customer service and excellence in auto repair. Mo and his team really performed 5 star service across the board.

Moe and Ali have lovable personalities outside of work, but they are unethical businessmen and have subpar mechanics. They exaggerate how great things are, and minimize how costly, unsatisfactory, or inconvenient things are. They constantly leave out details or fabricate stories when it serves them. If they say that someone is a "friend", they probably just met them or they barely know them (they called me a friend to someone else right after our first conversation). If they tell you to wait for an hour, it will be several hours. If they say, "It is probably just this", it probably isn't. They earn your trust at first, but abuse it later when they see fit. I know for a fact that at least one of their long-time customers doesn't trust them at all. They charge $200/hour, which is unheard of for a normal repair shop. They care about money first, their reputation second, then the customer third. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY.

Mo was nice enough and the work on my car seems ok, but the prices they charge here are absurd. They put around a 3X markup on parts, and charge extremely high rates for labor. Ended up charging me more than $2,100 to change an AC compressor, which is just ridiculous.Services: Air conditioning, Auto maintenanceServices: Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

I was really impressed when I went to pick up my car and they had set aside the old parts to show me what was wrong with them, all without being asked. That is a sign of an honest business. They were upfront with the pricing, which was lower than I expected, and very quick with the repairs.

We go to them for everything now. They are professional, really listen to what you have to say, and they treat women as though women are just as intelligent as men when it comes to explaining what's wrong with the car. The prices are fair and when my car kept needing to be taken in for a recurring problem they didn't pile on the service fees. Honest and caring mechanics for the win!

Great service. I was told exactly what was wrong. They checked other things in the car to make sure everything else is functioning well. The car was ready on time as promised. I also received very personal attention. I would definitely recommend this place.

Meh.Took my Miata in for an oil change and to fix the alternator---the battery would discharge while driving. They changed the oil, tried to upsell me on new brake rotors and spark plug wires, and said the alternator was fine.Well, turns out the alternator was indeed bad. The brushes for the field windings were going old, so battery voltage was okay at idle but the voltage would drop while revving. So instead of enjoying track day at Thunderhill, I forfeited my deposit and hotel room and stayed home to change my own damn alternator.Go to these guys for routine work, but for things that require troubleshooting you're better off doing it yourself. Instead of fixing the issue, expect them to upsell you on things you don't need.

Brought our car in for what I thought was a oil pan gasket leak. Instead of just replacing it, Frank had the mechanic take the time to investigate what was actually wrong with it.Came away very satisfied with their service.Woud definitely recommend Sunnyvale Auto Repair.

I took my car two service here twice for standard oil change and was pretty satisfied with the service. Over the holidays I was planning to bring it here for my next maintenance and oil change. Fortunately I decided to try the place just next where I live, as I discovered that no oil filter was present in the oil canister. I reached out inquiring upon this and they went AWOL. I can live with a mistake, not with the fact that you totally ignore a customer. There are plenty of mechanics in the area and next to where Dannicks is located. Make a wise choice and avoid.

What I thought was going to be a $2000 guesstimate on my part turned out to be $69 spark plug replacement that seems to quiet the knocking noise. Will definitely go back to get the rest of the plugs replaced. I always to Dannicks and they are fair always open to drop in business.**Thanks Dan and Rudy**!
