Very friendly staff, great prices! Got a quote pretty quickly and got a really good discount because I'd taken my car there a few years ago. They do a good job and I highly recommend them.

The paint job came out great! Only one 3" run on the rear panel, no orange peel, minimal over spray on the molding, only $150 for a color change. Single stage urethane worth it. Dropped off on Monday, it was done Friday! Thanks Angle & Alicia.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I got my Impala painted here and I am very happy with the paint job. Make sure you are very persistent in what body work needs to be done because the whole reason I took my car in was because I had some dents in the back that needed to come out and I paid good money for it but it was not done and they painted over them. The paint job looks great but the dents kill me.

I once said I would never go to a chain shop like a MAACO. Then I read the reviews, saw the difference in price to other body shops, and decided to give it a try to paint my sunburnt car. They finished ahead of schedule. Amazing job. The fine-line masking came out much better than I expected. The color match is good. The paint job restored a good appearance to the 22 year old car that my daughter drives to high school. In fact, when she saw how good the exterior looks, she got out the vacuum and set about cleaning the interior as well, without being asked. A small miracle. Thank you, MAACO.

good news, pretty reasonable costs for full car painting. bad news, hook with a low price but the estimate is 2x more. sanding and fees that don't make a lot of sense but add up.

Ask for Angel! He is very professional and easy to work with. I had a big dent on my fender and door so they had to replace the door, fix the dent and do paint blending. I was worried if my car will ever look the same but, when I got back my car (in less than a week), I couldn t tell which side I had a dent on. He also helped me communicate with my insurance so everything was smooth and easy. If I need another body work, I will come back here!

I took my car with a few dings and paint scraping on the side. Angel did a quick apraisal and gave me a very reasonable rate. The work was done within the time specified and when I noticed a little blemish, he immediately took it to get it polished. The work looked as good as new. It has been a few months in all kinds of weather and still looks good. Highly recommend.

I really appreciated the way they took care of my beloved '91 Special Edition British Racing Green Miata. Lots of little dents on the hood and trunk from sitting under a huge oak tree full of squirrels, all gone! Looks as nice as the day I drove it off the showroom floor.

Very friendly, easy to speak with and they do not rush you, altho, they are busy! Luckily, we had 1st appt for the day and Angel was clear in explaining the estimate and even quickly adjusted when we requested additional work. Pricing seems very reasonable and we will probably follow thru on the work.Office and work areas were very clean and organized. We met Angel and Danny, both seemed very customer oriented and thorough.

Updated review:After my previous review Marie had contact me and we had a discussion over the phone. She said that considering my questions, she believed that I was looking for a car show level and therefore she refers me to someone else (even though I wrote that I am looking for a good quality for the money and not car show level). She apologized and we conclude that I ll pay Maaco a visit and review if the outcome paint quality fits my expectation or not. Therefore, I ll update the review score to 4* and keep you posted on the outcome.----------------------------------------------------------------------I would like to share my experience with Maaco Sunnyvale. I wanted a prep and painting job on a budget for my old car. I was looking for a reasonable quality for the money, not a car show level. Therefore, I went to Maaco for assessment and quotation.In the quotation (for Prep+ Urethane + Gloss Enhancer") I found a disclaimer about possible "orange peel". I was concern about that as I wanted the car to look nice for over 2K$ job. I communicate with David and Maria and ask if the prep job and the painting job is done properly should I expect still orange peel? The answer I received was kind of a surprise to me. They answer back that "We try to minimize the orange peel, it is a disclaimer so you know there might be orange peel". OK, I can understand this kind of a disclaimer. But also, they wrote "I am sorry we will not be able to assist you". Which was weird. I convey again that I am not looking for a car show level but just a good quality for the money, so I would like to visit their shop and see for myself the level of quality they provide. Their reply was even weirder "Maaco will not be able to meet your expectations" and refer me to someone else.The message is crystal clear if you do not want orange peel paint, do not bother drive to Maaco Sunnyvale. They even do not waste their time to show you their work quality.Next time I'll know not to spend my time with Maaco Sunnyvale

The owner was pretty un-understanding, and condescending to me when he was explaining the estimate of my car repair. He just keep saying "You are too young to understand this" in a rude fashion. Didn't pick up good vibes and also heard from Co-workers about the frustration of using Maaco as a chain of companies.I took my car to a much more friendly mechanic and they did a high quality and still affordable paint and touch-up job to repair some minor scratching / paint chipping on my bumper.

It's been about 3 weeks since and am very satisfied, anything better than Honda Pearl chipping what a FARCE and STEVENS CREEK HONDA OR ENVISION HONDA DIDN T OWN UP TO IT told us to call Honda Company beware of any pearl paint!

These guys are great. It's a good honest business with a great staff. My front bumper came off the front of my car while backing out of my driveway. I called a few other places and they said they would recommend just replacing it for nearly $1000. Marie took the time to have a discussion with me and made an effort to help me save money. I brought my car in and they took a look. It ended up needing a few replacement clips. We opted to order new brackets to make it more secure. Total cost was $50-100. My car is a 2004 and doesn't need picture perfect repair. Anyway, it was a real pleasure to do business with this office. The thoughtfulness and truly great customer service really made my day. In the future when I have bigger projects, I will happily come back because I feel like I can trust them to do the work at a fair price.

I've gone here twice for repainting my 2008 Honda Civic (mostly because I didn't repaint the whole car the first time - probably should've!)Marie is such a warm person - you can tell she genuinely cares!They are the consummate professionals - they delivered really excellent and detailed work exactly on schedule.I'm very satisfied - I resold my Honda Civic for a top price because the car looked GREAT!

My old chipped paint looked horrible. I checked around locally and nobody will paint a car anymore. I called Maaco And they said bring it in! Within a few days I had a new car! I would recommend to anyone!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Brought my car in for warranty repairs after work performed by Maaco in Seattle was not done correctly. The shop tried getting insurance to pay for it instead and was not responsive. It took 6 weeks and then Maaco finally said they re not doing any work on the vehicle, breaking their warranty on the vehicle.Avoid at all costs. Very terrible customer support & quality of work. Corporate customer support is impossible to get a hold of on the phone.

My wife got her Miata painted a different color. The paint looks great, you can t tell it was originally black from the door jams or trunk. The body work is very good. Honestly much better than I was expecting. My wife is thrilled. I was kind of expecting something a bit budget looking, but this looks flawless. I strongly recommend them.I got the base coat/ clear coat.If you are thinking about it, I strongly suggest it. I only got the base / clear coat, so I can't comment on the quality of the cheaper options.

David and Marie do great work with great prices. They most recently repainted the hood and driver's mirror of my Cadillac SUV which had clearcoat failure--it now looks great. In the past they also did an outstanding job painting my classic Chevrolet Malibu station wagon, completely stripping the old paint, getting rid of the dings, and repainting it. I get many compliments on this car and people regularly tell me they love the paint and ask where I got it painted. Five stars all the way!Service: Painting

The lady owner their is extremely rude and has no customer skills. I was called informing me that my truck was complete and when I got their it did not look like the paint card I signed off. It was a poor paint job! . After the owner came out she was on the defense without even looking at my complaint. Than I asked her if anyone inspected the job prior to calling me. She made me feel like all she wanted was my money and did not care if I was happy or not. The next day I had received a call from Brian my original rep sayin the sales rep he made me fell like he cared. . He is a good man. Thanks Brian for all your help. For the owner you might not want to encounter with customers as you need schooling on customer service. I am rating the star on the owners customer service. I would give Brian 5 stars for his customer service and professionalism.

I met with Angel and Obtain a fair bid price to paint my 2002 Toyota Celica GT. Maaco replaced and installed some parts at no added cost. Maaco completed the work in one week. Theresa called me to pickup my Celica and I was amazed with results. My Celica looked great!!! I give five-stars to Maaco in SunnyvaleSince I was pleased with the work product on my Celica, I bought in my black 2003 BMW Z4 and had all the dents and blemishes on the body repaired and painted to an OEM BMW Gray metallic color. One week later Teresa called me and said that my car was ready for pick up. My 2003 BMW Z4 looked amazing!!! The final work product was showroom quality!!! I ll give five stars!!!I was very pleased with the price quality of work and staff professionalism at Maaco of Sunnyvale. My experience at this Maaco was fabulous. They painted my car and repaired a dent for half the price of other estimates. My 11 year old car looks great. This place is no nonsense, straightforward and efficient. Special shoutout to Brian, you da man.S

The paint came out great but it took 3 extra days to get my car back, I was told on three separate occasions that my car will be ready tomorrow which meant three extra days of a car rental. I finally pick my car up only to find out when I got home that the job wasn t complete, the window doesn t work the door latch doesn t work none of the switches work on the passenger side, and the outside door handle doesn t light up anymore. I m beginning to think that they ordered the wrong model door for my car because I was told that they were having electrical problems because the harness from the door didn t match the mirror so they had to swap the harness out and use the old one. Needless to say I will be taking my car back today. But the customer service is always great, the people are very polite there.

The person I worked with was Brian Schaefer. He was professional, courteous and bent over backwards to make the process go smoothly. I picked up my 2004 F150 and it looked like new again. They painted my hood, front bumper, top of cab, gas fill door, tailgate and rear bumper using the 3 stage process. I could not be more pleased. I recommend Maaco Sunnyvale to everyone who wants to be treated fairly, pay a reasonable price and receive quality work.Michael SheaSan Jose, CA
