Brought my car in to get a few scratches and dings repaired. Decided not to go through my insurance since there was nothing major. Kuykendall's took my car in right away, quoted me a very reasonable/fair price and kept to the estimate. The work they did was excellent. I am very satisfied with their service.

I recently had an issue with my wife's minivan and as the hood was damaged and wouldn't shut correctly. I brought it in to Kuykendall's and was great by Tracy, the manager, who was more then pleasant to work with. He instructed me exactly what I'd need to do with my insurance company as well as the rental car company so when it came time to turn in my car that I was taken care of. I was so easy and such a great experience. My wife was very happy and her minivan looked fantastic. They actually did some extra work on the headlamps that made the car look almost new. I really recommend this company as they are family owned and were very easy and informative to work with. They make it so simple for me from insurance to the rental car that my experience was painless.

After someone backed into my new car in a parking garage, creating several scratches on my right rear bumper, a close friend highly recommended Kuykendall's Auto Body & Frame in Sunnyvale, Ca., and thankfully they did. Tracy Kuykendall went out of his way to make this an easy and fast repair. He even contacted Enterprise Car Rental for me and even negotiated the lowest rental price. What was even more interesting is the respect my State Farm Insurance Company has for Kuykendall's; they did not have to do their own appraisal & fully accepted the invoice. My car was returned to me on time with a perfect repair. Tracy had also washed and detailed the entire car which is unheard of. Kuykendall's really rocks!!!

Rear ended at traffic light damaging rear bumper of our Honda Civic. Kuykendall's Collision Repair in Sunnyvale provided quote for the repair to the other driver's insurance. Bumper repair and paint came out perfect. Kuykendall's handled paperwork and payment from the other driver's insurance.What started out as a traffic accident that was not my fault and very inconvenient, ended with a good as new repair. All I needed to do besides trusting Kuykendall's was drop off my car for repair and pick up my car when repair was finished. Professional, experienced, and customer service are the reasons I would come back to Kuykendall's Collision Repair if I am ever involved in another car accident.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

If there was a way to put zero I would definitely do. Let me start. My girlfriend brought her 2012 bmw for a rear bumper repair and paint. She was looking for someone trustworthy. And she came to kuykendall s collision repair. The guy did the estime and right away and took the work. He said yes I can do this no problem. So we left the car with him. He affirmed that day. That her car was gonna be done fast. And turns out it didn t. He said he ordered and wrong bumper and he painted it knowing that it was wrong part. So he called my girlfriend and the owner started to being rude with her telling her that he already paint the bumper and he can t return it. Then I said well that s not our problem. Or fault. You shouldn t paint it. Then he continue to act rude complaining about the job on that car and he started tell my girlfriend that she may has to pay off her packet. For something that was not her fault. So then I took over from there and I called him and I asked what was the issue. Right a way he started to bein rude. Amd complaining about the car. He said that he needs more money and he will submit a request for more money to that insurance tha was involved on that accident. Few days after he said he got a approved more money and that he was gonna get a bumper. So he did after few days later and $3,800 dollars for a rear bumper. He finally got the car done he called my girlfriend told her that the car it s done. He parked the car under and tree that covered the rear bumper with shade. He was literally hiding something. So my girlfriend asked me if I can come with her to check the car I told her yes wait for me there. She got there first. She said the came out fast gave her the key and some type of paperwork. And told her that he s really happy that the nightmare car it s going away when I arrived 10 minutes later I saw the car Parked backwards under the tree. From a distance I noticed that the color it s different. It don t match. before I moved the car I told the owner that color it s different and don t match the rest of the car. Right away he s starting yelling raising his voice. Being rude talking negative saying that he didn t make any money on that car. And that no one will guarantee that the colors will come out same. And he said he doesn t know what I m seeing or what I m talking about. Then I pulled the car to the sun light to show him. Even worst then he admitted that it das abit different. However he started pushing my girlfriend to fix some of her scratches nothing related to what was the car got there for. Still insisting if her to fix the other dents and told her if you fix the other dents I ll fix the issue for free otherwise you have to pay me so I can make it Match. I think that s un professional and the way he yelled at my girlfriend that disgrace. So now my girlfriend took her the bmw to the dealer to confirm that there s an issue after a new quote later the mistake of that body shop it s gonna cost $ 1,678.00 and they told her that the paint he used it s not same code. So now she s gonna file small claim to Santa Clara Supreme Court and have that rude owner served. Please do not go there that guy is not professional has no manners. With customers. Doesn t respect females. I don t recommend that place.Service: Painting

Don't recommend. Agree with the previous review. Very disrespectful owner.Facts1) Tracy yelled at me over the phone for asking questions (like "what's the status of my car", "why do I have to pay for reparing a dent that was on the replaced fender", etc).2) We've never had any issues with the car (not even 100k miles), had been driving it for 2 weeks after the accident before giving it to Tracy. "Coincidentally", the starter broke when the car was worked on; we were charged for a new starter.3) The replaced fender has a dent on it. We were asked to pay for fixing it.4) The guy doesn't maintain a safety distance from customers during COVID.5) The work took 2 weeks.6) The final price was ~30% higher than the original estimate.Feelings1) The guy's attitude is really offensive and rude. No hi, no bye, no eye contact when we came to pick it up.2) I didn't feel safe around him (because he yelled at me over the phone and didn't maintain distance).3) I don't feel safe driving my car after his "services". Taking it for inspection.Let's see if he can keep it professional in response to this review. Take a look yourself and decide if you want to get your car fixed here.

Had a small damage that needed to be fixed and a friend recommended Kuykendall s. I couldn t be happier. Excellent customer service and great work in getting my car taken care of. Also very good communication throughout the process. Highly recommend the shop.

The back bumper of my Prius was damaged. I had taken the car to a different body shop and they could not repair it under the loss value of the car so I randomly called body shops in the Mountain View-Sunnyvale area. I am glad I called Kuykendall's shop.Tracy inspected my car and was able to repair it under the loss value of my car which was a huge savings of time for me. Otherwise I would have had to shop for a new vehicle.I highly recommend Kuykendall's for your body shop needs. Tracy and Sarah at the front desk are the best. They are straight shooters and look out for your interests!

This is our fifth repair with Kuykendall's. The first three the insurance recommended them, the last two I called several shops for estimates. Kuykendall's came in lowest both times. Very professional and friendly service. Could not be more pleased with my choice of repair shops.

Family Owned and Run!!! how friendly everyone is and they do a great job to top it off! They found damage on the exterior that Golden West missed, plus they dealt with the insurance company so I didn't have to. Also they were open to a 3rd party pay, if the kid who hits us didn't want to have his insurance hiked up.
