I will be very honest with this review and I hope it helps. My insurance company recommended Golden West Collision Center after an accident with my car. I was able to get in the same day of the accident to have my car looked over and get an estimate for the cost to fix it. At my initial visit the staff was friendly and helpful, all went smooth. A few days later I got the update that my car would take approximately 2 weeks to fix. Now this is where is gets a little disappointing. When I went to pick up the car, I could clearly see the bumper was not aligned properly.There was a gap on the side where the repair was to be done. I pointed this out to Andres, who noticed as well. I left my car so that they could fix this, thinking I would get it back the next day. This was not the case. A few days later I went back and there was still a gap and then I noticed the paint in the area that was fixed was not correct as it had more of a yellow tint in it vs my white plus there was over spray on the hood and doors. Again they kept the car to fix these two issues. The third time I went back the gap was still not fixed. At this point after several attempts at fixing my car, to be honest I was done. That is when the owner, Joe McKenna, contacted me wanting to make things right. He was able to get the insurance to authorize the actual manufacturers bumper for my car and make things right. After 4 weeks, I was finally able to pick up my car and it looks amazing. Joe and the whole team at Golden West Collision Center were great and I am thankful for all the hard work that team put into getting my car back to normal. It was definitely a longer process than I anticipated and yes there were bumps in the road but they did come through in the end. For this I am very appreciative.

Had a hit-and-run. Henry and team did a wonderful job fixing the passenger side door, panel and tire rim. The car looks new again! And they delivered 4 days ahead of schedule, what a happy surprise.

Golden West was a great place to go to. I was checked-in very quickly and Daniel went around my car and described the work that needed to be done and how long it would take. Everything was done professionally and efficiently. They partner with a local car rental company and I was able to score an Audi A6 while my repairs were being completed. The work was done and delivered on time and as promised. Henry walked me around the car and summarized what was done. They made sure I knew my warranty and signed me out. It was a great process and I will go back if needed.

I had a fantastic experience at the collision center! They not only installed my battery for free on my Hyundai but also did so with remarkable efficiency and professionalism. They provided an excellent service and even offered some extra assistance. I highly recommend this center for their outstanding customer care and expertise. A very professional body shop. All our interactions were very good and courteous. The vehicle repair went on promptly and smoothly. They kept us very well informed the whole time. The front desk and everyone in the shop were very sweet and accommodating. They answered all our questions and cleared all our doubts too. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Golden West did a great job fixing the car ahead of schedule. Very happy. Would highly recommend them. There was small glitch that wasn t their fault. Took about a half a day to reset the rear cross traffic camera warning system after the back lift gate was replaced. Maybe just took my car time to adjust.

Car looks terrific. Coached me on how to deal with insurance. Went to bat with insurance to get additional work done. Kept me informed. Set realistic expectations. Really engaging employees. Andres is tremendous! Bravo, Golden West!

Golden west got my honda crv done they did great job.. joe the owner was great man you can trust even have problem joe will solve it.. and daniel the man it was great also he take care my problem and solve it. I m very happy what they done.. go to (Golden West ) the body shop here in Sunnyvale California.. you won t be sorry joe and daniel will take care and make you vehicle brand new..thanks

This place ROCKS!!! Nema and Teresa did my intake when I arrived. They were friendly and informative. I was a little nervous before the whole process but Nema walked me through the process which helped calm my nerves. I felt more comfortable and confident that I was doing business with a legit company. I left my car in good hands and picked up my rental and was on my way. Through the weeks I was getting updates via text which was very helpful and finally picked up my car and was very happy with the end result. I want to thank the team at Auto West Collison .

Golden west Collision center has been around a long time. I have had many cars, and many car repairs performed by Golden West. The best thing about Golden West is its culture. Joe, and his staff are very friendly, and easy to interact with. This quality makes it easy to do business with them. Body work is an art form, the car will never be the same as when it rolled off the assembly line, but golden west does a good job getting as close to perfect as possible. Overall, I have been extremely happy with this body shop. I feel comfortable referring anyone who needs this type of work done to them, because I know they will be treated well, and golden west will make it a point to ensure they are happy.Here is a photo of my car after Golden west repaired it. It was side swiped on the right side, and both the front and rear doors needed to be painted, and the right rear wheel needed to be replaced.Service: Body & Trim

I tow my car today as recommended by my Toyota dealer , I m going to do this by using our insurance company, just starting the process, people was nice already , I ll keep updating.This is an update , I did receive my car back and is working good so far , they did mention that it will have a life warranty on their job , since I was worry because progressive insurance told me that they won t take care of anything if I m deciding where to take my car and not their own shops ! .So I m very happy with the job golden west Collision Center did , and everyone is very nice there , customer service is top notch.

My experience so far:Initially I had an issue with the timeline. There auto messages service doesn t not align correctly with the actual status of the vehicle.So you need to constantly check with the person to see what s going on with your car.The check-in and check-out process were smooth. They guy explained to me exactly what they did to my car and all the dos and don ts. Car also looked really great after the work they have done.

Brought in my car cause I was rear ended and had to do a number of fixes.Had a great experience. Brian was excellent in handling the initial inspection and explaining how the process would go and what body shops typically look for and do.The paint job at the end was phenomenal , I could barely distinguish the new back panel from a brand new one. Felt like I drove the car out of a showroom lot .The office entry space is nice too . Most folks are friendly and professional!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Updated:I appreciate their master workmanship on auto body repair.My insurance recommended this shop to get my car repaired which was severely damaged by the January storm.Incredible! It is prrfectly done. I had some prior dissatisfaction about the missing parts. The owner Joe took quick care and action and resolved the problem in no time. His above and beyond business complaint handling can make every customer happy for sure if any. Thank you Joe again. Thank all staffs.

Great experience overall. From getting the repair estimates until pickup, they take ownership in what they do. Repairs are done very neat and they will clean the car inside out before you pickup.

I needed a minor body shop repair for my car. I searched and found that this shop was certified to repair several brands besides Honda and Toyota. Daniel Escobar was courteous and very knowledgeable. I recently brought my car to Golden West Collision Center for a scratch from a fallen tree branch and was assisted by Daniel. He polished out a scratch in just 5 minutes, leaving it looking like new! I called Golden West because the reviews looked so great. We needed to replace the broken glass rear window panel on our old pickup truck. Melanie told us to drive down and they could get us an estimate. I was very impressed with the clean business exterior and COVID precautions. Joe, the owner, met me outside with a warm and friendly welcome. When I mentioned we needed the truck back by the next day, he went inside and made a quick call. Not only was he able to locate the perfect panel, he said they would install it before the end of the day. Within two hours, the job was complete. It looks great and was a fair price. I would highly recommend Golden West Collision! Thank you, Joe and team!

Good: Quick service. Fixed car in the day, good job.Bad: Original printed estimate included a 5% discount. In final bill refused to honor the discount . Though it is a small amount, this behavior was unprofessional.

Amazing experience! Made me feel super at ease with during a stressful situation.My car was vandalized so I came in for an estimate and was promptly greeted by Melanie at the front desk. She was super professional and attentive and was able to call up Lee to do my estimate. Lee was very patient with all my questions as this is the first time I ve ever had to use my insurance and get repairs done. He really helped guide me through the process and let me know what to expect moving forward from him and my insurance company. He was super knowledgeable and professional. Best experience I could ve asked for.

TOP notch service, and quality. I had two of my cars fixed at Golden West, and both times were seamless, and outstanding service. The whole team and Joe made it so easy, they provided up to date status, took action with my insurance company, and both times did outstanding work, making it look new again. Great customer service. Fair price. Fast. I don't know what Joe is feeding the employees, but everyone that I dealt with to repair my Explorer was incredible. This is the Best place ever to have your car repaired if you were in an accident.They finished my car on time and it looks amazing the staff is very courteous and was there to answer all my questions whenever I needed them.I was blown away by how good of a job they did on my vehicle and how easy they were to work with it is very evident that they care about their customers their customer service is amazing.If you need to get your car fixed you have to go to Golden West collision Center!

Joe and his team of expert auto mechanics did a complete restoration on my truck. My Silverado was on the verge of being a complete loss. They were able to bring it back to a brand new state. The customer service was top notch and the turn around time was fantastic. The daily updated photos sent via text were very nice. Thank you for the quality work and great service.
