The best mechanic for Japanese cars in the bay area. Alex is honest, professional and great mechanic. He takes care of my cars well as he always remembers where he fixed the last time. I have been bringing my family cars here for more than 15 years. This is my first time to this shop. I took my son's 2004 Toyota Tundra to get the a/c recharged. I wanted to wait for it, but they said it would take two hours and he had cars ahead of me. So, I walked home. They called a few hours later and I got a ride back. I paid $179. I pick up the truck and I notice the a/c seems the same. So, I ran a couple errands and thought my mind was playing tricks on me. That evening I had my Novio drive it. He said send it back! I took it back the next morning, amazing they got me right in and they evacuated and recharged it again and then they actually checked it and noticed it didn't change (which should have been checked before I picked it up the first day). And another surprise - it only took an hour (not the 1 1/2 hours they said they charge labor for). Well, they suggested I get the filter changed. So they want $40 for the part and $190 for the labor. Come on this is ridiculous. I just paid $179 for nothing done, now they want more money. NO WAY! I took it out of there asap. Watch out girls this is a shop that takes advantage of trusting women...Service: Air conditioning

Alex is the best! Have been taking my 2000 Toyota Avalon here for years, and he has always been consistent and helpful. Service is quick and although the parking lot is tight, he always has our best interest in mind.

Al-Con is a great place to get your Honda fixed. I have been going to Al-Con for many years. Alex is friendly and most of all honest. I brought my Civic in today to get my brake pads replaced because I was told by a previous mechanic that the pads were worn. Alex checked my brakes and told me that they are fine! He could have easily made money off me but he did not. I really appreciate that type of honesty.

Alex is very competent, very honest, and extremely nice. He stands by his work. The only problem I ever had was addressed immediately and turned out to be a defective part from the dealer. I can't recommend Alex highly enough.

I went get the brake fluid, transmission and engine oil done but one of the mechanic told I don t need to get the brakes oil done cuz it s still good, I really appreciate the honesty. This is my place to go when my cars need help, Mr. Alex is awesome!! He takes the time to check your car top to bottom and point the things that need attention, its hard nowdays to find honest service

Honest mechanic. I got check engine light it turned out to be the gas cap. Did not charge me anything! I definitely recommend him.

Quisiera poner menos pero no se puede de menos .dicen ser especialistas de carros pero pues son especialistas en sacarte el dinero solo hacen gastar dinero en piezas y lo peor que garantizan su trabajo y cuando les llevas tu carro por que su trabajo (garantizado no quedo) te salgan que no pueden hacer nada mas asi que cuidado no vallan a regalar su dinero.
