Brought my car with a tire issue to this fantastic store! They were about to close, Mark (Manager) and Steve (tech) didn t care they took care of me like if I was the first customer of the day, they told me they wanted me to back on the road safely! Guys thanks for the incredible service! I ll be back and will refer everyone I know to you guys! I appreciate the fantastic service!

I had nails stuck in my tires and didn't notice it before I drove my car. I found out when I stopped at the post office and saw one of the tires had blown out. I was worried and anxious. It's the only car I have and I need it for work.I'm glad Pep Boys was close by and Mark was very helpful and friendly. They took me in on a short notice and gave an affordable price. Mark and the other associates at Pep Boys went above and beyond to help me in my desperate time. Thank you Pep Boys and Mark!

Will have you wait outside for six hours waiting for your cars oil change. Then you'll have to confront them to get them to even start the work. Immature, incapable, and unprofessional service. Go elsewhere, not worth the money or wait!

Paid over $800 to get an oil leak fixed. It took them almost a week to get it done, only to bring it home and find that it was still leaking a good amount. so took it back a week later just for them to tell me it's a different part that's the issue now and they wanted to charge me about $800 again because they couldn't be sure if it was an old issue they didn't catch the first time or a new issue that occurred just within a week of them "fixing" it. I wasn't going to pay them $800 again if they couldn't do their job the first time. I brought it home and took a look myself and one of the screws on my valve cover was missing... it was broken off resulting in oil straying all over under my hood. whoever did it just tried covering it with a rubber cap. I don't know if pepboys did that or if it was already like that, but i feel like if i asked them to fix my oil leak, they should have mentioned that a screw was gone and got that fixed too right?

Asked for a tire to be repaired with my oil change. It had a small nail with a slow leak. They refused. They would only sell me a new tire. I got my oil change and had to take my car to a local little shop. They fixed it, no problem. Pep Boys didn t even check the air in my tires with their inspection or my engine air filter (which I changed). Pep Boys has lost their pep and I won t be back.

I will never go to pep boys again, over priced !I asked what is your hourly rate and I was told $178.00 an hour.They wanted to charge me $865.00 to change a power steering pump. I went to another repair shop and was only charged $ 428.00 for part and install.

For years Pepboys has always taken care of my car, never did I have any problems with, they were always up front with me if there were any problems. Thank you Pepboys for excellent work and always being there and helpful.

I called the store and needed my brakes checked. Immediately, staff was bring your car in and let us check it out today. They were booked but squeezed me in. I informed them I may need some new tires too but wasn t sure if the tred was good. Emil and Mark were attentive and explained everything why and what I needed for my car and told me my brakes were good it was just the tires after a detailed break check. I appreciated their honesty and skills to keep me and my family safe on the road. Definitely going to Pepboys on West Lane again! They have good customer service and honest workers!

Mark and Emil, the stars of the store. Called cause another place cancelled on me. I got Mark. asked about tires & if I could get them same day. They weren't in stock. He suggested I go to the other pepboys or have them sent to his store. The other store couldn't get me in. Called to have them sent to Mark's store. Had a little trouble with the other store. Mark said come in he would handle it. Get there & immediately Emil (store manager) asks me about the problem with the other store. I told him the issue, he said he would deal with it, and promised I would get my service done. While my car was being serviced. Emil kindly showed some issues with my wheels. Didn't push extra service but said what they would do to help out and make sure my tires would go on. My car was repaired within 2 hours or so. try that anywhere else sameday, no appointment, and tires had to be delivered. I also saw excellent customer service by Mark to another customer advising and not pushing any services but listing their needs, they were going on a long trip. I could tell making sure they were safe was most important.

I will never use Pepboys ever. I went in for an oil change and they informed me I needed my breaks and roters replaced ASAP. They couldn't pull up my info in the second location so I had to come here. I was told my breaks where metal to metal and needed them replacedThat it was so bad it caused damage to my rear breaks. The man at the counter told me I shouldn't be driving at all since it was dangerous and I needed to this now. I did not have $1,000+ they suggested. I called my friend up (he used to be a tech in a dealership) and he helped me out. He showed me the roters and the breaks. He said my car would have been making a lot of noise if that was the case. He said I had a ways to go before needing to replace this. He also informed me it is illegal in the state of California to use scare tactics to get people to do the work. I'm disgusted that they tried to get me to do all this unnecessary work because I was a female that came in alone!! I suggest either not coming here... or at least get a second opinion if you really want to get work done at pepboys.

So glad I came to Pep Boys for a brake inspection!My breaks have been squeaking so I want to a shop and was told I needed rotars and pads all around. $350 for front $350 for back.I decided to come to Pep Boys and get a second opinion and it's a good thing a did!They found nothing wrong with my brakes or rotars and they were actually all quite brand new and they squeak because of the heat/cold.Thank you Ritchie! You made a life long customer! I'll be back when I truly need brakes etc....!

Left my car a few days ago to fix an issue with my power steering fluid leaking. The parts were replaced and fixed quickly, but when I took the car home, it was making a loud whirring noise whenever I steer, telling me that it s not distributing the power steering liquid correctly. I called back to report the issue but they said they needed to keep the car again to verify it. It s my daily driver for work so I can t leave it very often, so i asked if they can check it as soon as I get there but they kept insisting to leave the car for the day. I understand this could be due to their policy but it s an inconvenience to leave a car for a day to check on something that they already worked on and should have noticed when it was repaired.

I was at the Pep Boys on March/West Lane on Oct 25, 2023 and although their motto is they offer 5 Star Service, I definitely didn't receive it that day. My car wouldn't start and I had to have the battery jumped, so I went to Pep Boys to buy another one and have it installed. Instead of telling me the avaliable batteries and specifications, Mark, the assistant manager, says, "Here's what I'm gonna do. First we're going to..." And he began to list additional things that I already knew I neither needed or asked for. I didn't realize auto shops still did this, upsale women. Shameful! Eventually I was able to complete my purchase with only having to pay one "extra" that he added, as well as the battery that HE chose. Needless to say, if you're a woman I wouldn't recommend patronizing this particular shop. The other two gentlemen that were there when I picked up my car were very pleasant and helpful, Pheng and Emil, but if you happen to encounter Mark, the assistant manager, good luck!

I would advise against bringing your vehicle here for brake inspections. My inspection report clearly states "rear brakes have a lot of life". I took my car to get my tires rotated five days later. Upon arrival, the mechanic informed me that I needed new brakes very badly. After removing my tires to change brakes, my father and I discovered that my outer brake pads had some life left, but my inner brake pads were non existent. They were metal on metal on both sides of the vehicle. I attached a photo of the old inner pad vs the new one for reference and the report showing where they stated my brakes were still okay.So thank you Pep Boys on West Lane for almost ruining my rotors. You're the best

took my truck for two tires to be changed it took them 2 hours and 45 min and i had an appointment my truck did not get in the bay until after 1 hr of my appointment time there was cars and trucks coming in without an appointment getting service before my truck the guy changing the tires took 25 min to take off and put back one tire on the rim he was just not into working that day never coming back again

I took my tsx and is250 in for a scheduled appointment for front tires installation. I checked in the tsx first around 11:20am. And then my fiance came with the lexus and checked in 11:43am. If you notice in the images attached, circled in red are the times checked in and out.The tsx took over 2 n a half hrs till i got my car. The store clerk even input an incorrect time-in on my tax.Took 6 hours for my lexus. I even had to make a phone call to check up on the status of my car at 5:19pm and was told that my lexus haven't been worked on but should be done by 6:00pm. At 5:40pm , i then got a call to pick up my lexus at 5:40pm. You can see my phone call history in the pictures attached circled in red.Pep boys took that long with my vehicles but couldnt even wipe them clean. In the pictures attached, you can see grease stains on the rims on my lexus. And they couldnt even wipe off the brake dust after touching my tsx rims making a mess.Never going back there.....

I m not sure why all the negative reviews.I went in to get my brakes serviced (pads + rotors). Initially, I was expecting to pay around $400. That s what it came out to about (around $450).The man at the front desk was easygoing, straightforward, and a pleasure to talk to. He informed me all about what was going on.In addition, the photos that pepboy s take before and after inspection is just a cherry on top. The mobile text experience is wonderful and helpful.All in all, great service.

This is the worst place do not come here. I only come here because I bought a car and I got an oil change coupon book. But every time I make an appointment I arrive on time and it still takes 2 or 3 hours wait time. And I can t even wait in the waiting room. What do they want me to do for three hours. Stand outside in the sun this place is the worst. And this place is a mess inside spiderwebs and teach all over the place.Speedee oil change is the best.

I had a 1pm appointment for an alignment and told them i would be waiting for it. My car wasnt touched until after 2pm. The guy working on my car was very nice and answered my questions and let me look under the car while it was on the lift. it is now after 3 pm and I am still waiting for my car.
