When I brought my BMW in to James, he was very honest and willing to help, he had suggestions if I couldn't afford the cost to repair the damages. I was somewhat disappointed with the current condition of my BMW. He gave me a decent and affordable estimate which was surprising to me.When I got the car back he not only fixed the damage to the driver side fender and door but he also washed and waxed my entire car and removed ALL of the rock chips from my front bumper and sprayed that too, no additional charge!NOBODY DOES THAT!James and his boyz are the Schiznick! Took my vehicle to this horrible shop on June 19th for a simple roof dent repair and windshield replacement, was supposed to be a 3-4 day time line for repair. This shady, dishonest scumbag started padding up his charges for things my car did not need thus causing delays with my insurance company. He said my dash was damaged and needed to be repaired however it was just a vent cover which had minor scratches in it. Almost a month later he informed me my car was ready to be picked up. Upon arrival the car was completely dirty inside and out and my steering wheel was mounted upside down. The dash appeared used and had scratches on the instrument cluster cover yet he claimed he purchased a new one for me. The car was unable to be driven this way so i did not take it home. When questioned about what the hell his shop did to my car he could not explain but merely stated it was hard to find quality help and that he would get to the bottom of what happened. He continued delaying with my insurance company to the point i decided to take my car out of his shop. Due to a mix up on both his part and the insurance i ended up with an after market windshield which caused my lane assist sensor to be unable to be calibrated. Mr. Paulk submitted an additional supplemental request to have an OEM Glass put in in an attempt to get more money out of my insurance company. I had to take my car to an alignment shop to get my steering wheel fixed and was informed my alignment was completely off. It was a total nightmare dealing with James Paulk and his shop. Citizens of San Joaquin County PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF. i filed a complaint with the bureau of automotive repair due to his fraudulent actions, hope they can shut him down permanently.......Paul GService: Painting

I just purchased a 2015 Chevy Camaro about 3 weeks ago, less then 2 weeks in it, I crashed my Camaro in my garage causing a hug dent in my driver side fender! After looking around for Body Shops in my area I came across James Body Shop. I was a little hesitant at first only because the other so call body Shops was saying its going to take weeks to order the part I needed to fix my car, and its going to be 2 to 4 weeks before I can even drop my car off! WOW!! But when I spoke to James, he was so Positive and explain to me that it doesn't take that long and he would have my car fixed and looking brand NEW with in a week time!Everything James told me and everything he said was TRUE! My car looked just like it did when I droved off in it on the lot when I first purchased it 3 weeks ago! And What's so unbelievable is James Auto Body & Paint only had my car for a week 1/2! James you are AMAZING!!! I'm so happy I decided to go with your Service! If anything else were to happen to my car, James Auto Body & Paint will be the first place I go, because He's Honest, Positive, Very Professional, I mean this guy knows what he doing!!!I'm so proud to know that people like James do exist! poor communication with customer. All he said was that he worked on the expensive fancy cars like Mercedes, & the cars that Spanos owns.He didn't say anything else until I called him 2 weeks later.He should tell me what he found after taking off the bumper cover because I was rear ended... what additional damage did he discover.I called him, & I asked all the questions, then, he answered. He said that I can pick up the car tomorrow.Then, I asked him, what should I bring ? after me asking the questions, I find out that he does not accept debit/ credit cards. fyi: When you run a business, that is the 1st thing an owner should inform their customers that they do not accept cards for payment.update: car looks fine with a few paint imperfections... clean car though, free of scrapes. I had to go back twice because the sensor & tail light were placed incorrectly.. they had to re position them.Service: Body & Trim

Absolutely the best Auto body in Stockton. I have been going to James for years and he is always fair and honest with a great price and does great work. A great business. He fixed my wife's Audi bumper, my son's hood of his truck and my other son's bumper. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've used his services many times. He's exceeded my expectations repeatedly. He's a straight shooter and I appreciate that. He's painting a classic Porsche 911 for me now.I highly recommend this shop.

I called this place this morning and a guy answered. Once i stated who i was & asked if they offered paintless dent repair he hung up in my face. Thinking that it was clearly a mistake i called back. He answered the phone abruptly stating " I HUNG UP FOR A REASON." and then proceeded to disconnect the call again. I'm not necessarily sure how a business is supposed to run successfully if the person answering the phone is rude to customers. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

He is the best!!! He fixed the front of my car, and gave me a brand new grill to my car, and it took less then 2 days!!!! Go check him out.

Horrible called and spoke to the owner to write up a estimate for car repair and he wrote it in back of card and said they didn't write out estimates anymore only insurance places did that???? I asked him why not he started to yell and said go somewhere else and hung up???
