My BMW 335i was on a casual cruise on the highway when suddenly it reduced its engine power and gave me a check engine light. The ride quality worsened immediately as my car began to stall and shake as I exited the highway. I got in touch with Carlos and he was very quick to get my car in to discover what was wrong. With no time he found the problem as well as provided me with a couple different options to go about it. Every outlet to fix the car was a reasonable price and he explained in detail what each repair would entail. After deciding, my car was fixed quickly and was running smoothly again! Carlos is also very detail oriented technician and will note to you other areas of your vehicle that may need maintenance soon to keep car in dealership shape. Best shop experience hands down. I would recommend taking your vehicle here, I can assure you d drive away happy knowing it was done right. Will be back!

As a transplant from Washington DC, I asked around to see if friends had any recommendations for local car doctors as I like to support locally-owned businesses. With no leads, I was faced with an inevitable trip to the nearest BMW center.An email from a fellow yogi promoting a new year s retreat and the subsequent Google Map search turned up Carlos s Rancho San Diego BMW Repair right next door. Seeing it as a sign, I clicked on the link and up popped stellar reviews of his operation.Transparency.Integrity.Quality of product.Efficiency.These are the underpinnings of a business providing services and Carlos shines in all departments. He is professional, communicative and to say he is a joy to work with is an understatement. I recommended a friend with an E93 and because it happened to be his birthday, Carlos gifted him cookies from a local baker!It is a relief to know that I can rely on Carlos to take care of my ZHP with an all-around stellar experience. I will be a customer for years to come.

My BMW F80 developed a really annoying "Tea Kettle Whistle". After hearing what an awesome job Carlos did on my friends 3 Series, I contacted him and within a few days I dropped off my car to get diagnosed. While there, I had them do some regular Maintenance and that alone saved me a bunch of money.Back to the whistling, turned out the Valve Cover failed etc. Carlos went above and beyond to reach out to his contacts for the most cost effective approach and found that certain components would still be covered under a BMW warranty. The honesty and quick to the point attitude is well worth your time and trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.Long story short, they could have just said here's the bill and fixed it, but they really helped me save tons. If I could give them more stars I would.I will definitely be doing all services / maintenances with them from here on out!

Brought my M6 here for a quick diagnostic and the guy that runs and owns the place took the time to point out everything that he saw in great detail.It's difficult finding a true M Series mechanic that is worth his weight, Carlos is worth his weight in gold.

I had an issue with the drivers door. I called and was able to go in the same day to have it looked at AND he fixed it within 30 min. Unbelievable!! Fast service, professional, reasonable pricing so glad I found them.

Rancho San Diego BMW repair is one of the best shop I have ever been to... Carlos is an excellent mechanic... he is thoughtful, really knowledgeable and trustworthy... he will take care of his costumers no matter what..( I really mean that)... I took my BMW to him because other mechanics (amco lemon grove and fix auto) wanted to charge me a huge amount of money for a new transmission... I took my car to Carlos and after checking he found out the issue wasn t even the transmission... He fixed everything in my car and even took care of some other issues at an incredible price... Carlos and his team did a great job and the price was incredible... he is also military friendly (he offers military discount)... Like I said before Carlos is one of the best mechanics I ever been to... thanks Carlos.

I found BMW repair through their great reviews online. My father was a mechanic so I am very hesitant to let anyone touch my car. On top of that I run a business and probably stressed Carlos out about how fast I needed my car back, before I even dropped it off. Nonetheless Carlos was very professional and got all my work done very quick. Carlos was also very honest about the work I requested and what was important and what didn't need to be done. He very easily could have said "yes you should do everything ". To me that speaks volumes. He even showed me all my old parts when I picked up my car. I was very impressed with my experience for such a reasonable price.

Thank you Carlos! Like a previous review I now have a new mechanic. His work was excellent, thorough and clean. Before starting the requested work he put the car up on the lift for me and went over everything and did an evaluation of the problems. He has an excellent BMW back round and is very knowledgeable. He finished my car in a day and a half as the BMW dealer would of had or a week. His prices were very reasonable and stands behind his work. He has my business for all of my vehicles.Highly recommend!

I have taken my car here a couple times for breaks and replacement of water pump. Carlos is very helpful.. The first time I took my car there he was able to show me any issues that my car had even though I just came in for a break change. He was able to point out what needed to be replaced, what needs to be worked on and etc. He is very kind and professional. He is flexible, when I didn't want some things to be worked on. I would definitely come back and recommend this spot to my friends and family.

From the first point of contact to after the service was complete, Rancho San Diego BMW Repair offered impeccable service. The Master Technician, Carlos, has a natural ability to balance honesty, trust, and quality work. In just a short morning, I gained far more knowledge about my vehicle and was able to complete the repair in a timely manner. He showed me exactly what was wrong and did a very thorough under carriage check. Hands down this was my best mechanic experience and I could not have asked for more. A++ Service

If you are looking for honesty and great pricing, then Ranch SD BMW Repair is the place to go. Master Mechanic Carlos is very knowledgeable and always gives me options in fixing my X5, if other options are available. Carlos is a trained and certified BMW technician and i trust him completely. He has worked on my X5 for over 15 years!! I highly recommend him and his shop!He also works on cars other than BMW. I recommended his shop to my brother, who owns an Audi, and he was also another happy client.

I ve had my BMW for 5 years and have had numerous repairs with other mechanics and even the dealership. After being recommended to Carlos, I will NEVER go anywhere else ! Carlos has fine tuned my car and it s in better condition now than when I purchased it ! He is very thorough and honest ! I recommend him to everyone ! I m so thankful I ve found him ! OMG, finally found a great mechanic. What a wonderful experience. Began with well priced AC service but after meeting Carlos, I authorized more preventive maintenance. Very quick turnaround, professional,,,like or better than dealer. I highly recommend you to call or visit. Better than "at home" freelancers, and all the factory tools needed for BMW maintenance.

We were visiting from Idaho for just a few days when we heard a really loud road noise. We found Rancho San Diego on line and since there were such great reviews we decided to go there. Carlos let us bring it in that day to see what was wrong . He told us it was a wheel bearing and he got it fixed the next day ahead of schedule. Supper good communication. I can't say enough good about him. Fair, professional, reasonably priced. We are going to bring our car back to him when ever we can.

This mechanic shop is top notch and will be the only place I take my vehicles to get serviced. Carlos is the owner, master mechanic, and Jack of all trades when it comes to anything vehicle related. While he specializes in BMW Repair, he can tackle any job whether it be simple oil changes, engine rebuilds, or custom work. Not only is his work phenomenal, but he's very easy to deal with, upfront with quotes/costs, and does his best to get your vehicle fixed within a reasonable amount of time. If you're tired of shotty mechanic shops or subpar dealer work, get it done right the first time by taking your vehicle here.

Carlos is very personable and knowledgeable, it s been a great relief to finally find some one who i can really trust with my cars. As a long distance commuter it is important I can trust my car to get me there and back. I recommend BMW Rancho San Diego to friends and family.

Taking my Audi Q5 to Carlos has been a blessing. The Audi dealership tried to overcharge me (of course) for services I did NOT EVEN NEED. Very honest mechanic! Amazing work. Fast & reliable! even tho he specializes in BMW he took the time to learn everything he could about audi s. popped my hood right in front of me and walked me thru all the issues. Very knowledgeable. I found that Carlos genuinely enjoys helping people like myself with older BMWs that don t want the dealer to rip them off. You can t compete with 27+ years of experience working for BMW themselves so I wouldn t doubt his ability to fix your vehicle at all! Will definitely come back again in the near future!

Have a 2002 Silverado 1500 with 250k miles that is my baby. I was recommended to Carlos by a friend. I took my truck over for a 250k maintenance overhaul and giving me an overview on things that I should get fixed. Carlos not only did all the work, but he fixed little issues for free like tightening my parking brake line. He also discussed certain engine oil additives that I could add to help prolong the life of my engine. He also was straight forward with future repairs and told me things that I should fix in the near future, and things that I should just monitor and were not in need of repair. Highly recommend Carlos and his automotive services.

My man Carlos is they guy here!! smart loyal and very punctual! have 300k on my e39(525i) and not a single light/problem because of him. He does it all and is great at what he does, highly referred. a true BMW master mechanic.

I've known Carlos for almost twenty years, he's worked on all my BMW's from 5 series to 3 series to X5 and beyond. Since he was a service technician at BMW of San Diego to BMW of El Cajon and now with his own service shop I take my BMW's to his shop. Without a doubt you won't find a better person and even better price for your BMW service.

Absolute trust in Carlos with all my beemers and my other cars. I highly recommend him. Faster response than the BMW dealership and bigger savings by as much as 50%. You cannot beat that. Your wallet will thank you for it.

Man I dont even know where to start, I had quite a few problems on my BMW. I had issues with my aux not being able to be detected with the computer/screen & my radio not working. I also had an issue with my windows controlling itself whenever I'll push it up. Carlos solved those problems so fast it's insane. I'm very satisfied with the service. Highly recommend coming here if you have problems on your car. Amazing service!

Would give ten stars if I could. I have had several great experiences here - from minor repairs to engine swap- out. Clean, well equipped shop - dealer-like service at reasonable prices. Highly recommended for BMWs and other foreign or domestic vehicles.
