My F150 exhaust was jiggling around due to a broken weld and bracket. Bill offered me two options, then fabricated a quick repair with a new mount and bracket. I also brought my Honda mini trail exhaust pipe in with a couple small holes which he was able to repair quickly. His prices were reasonable and I will be using him again for my next muffler or weld repair.

Bill is a downright good guy. While I was there getting a muffler installed, I was able to pet a rescued dog and watch Bill feed an injured bird. He's a San Francisco native that started his own business. You can expect him to give you the straight up and down. Bill's equipment and work are great, his attitude is even better. I will keep going back to Bill as long as he is willing to keep his shop open and so should you.

My friend and i had our resonators delete by the owner Bill. We both love his work and passion for welding. Bill has been in the industry for 30 years and he has this saying clearly makes sense. You get what you pay for.

Bill is the best, an absolute professional. I had him install a cat back on my 2017 fiesta ST. He had me hang out with him while he did the work. Most shops won't let you into the work area let alone have you hang out and show you the entire process start to finish (and also ensure you are OK and agree with what's going on). The kit I brought to him was a bolt on with clamps at the seams. Bill went the extra mile and tack welded the seams for me. He also ensured the new pipe tips were gently put on and in the right position. Bill held onto my OEM parts for few days until I was able to come back with a larger car to transport them back. I will absolutely be back, and I have recommended him to my friends. Bill has earned my trust to work on my vehicles; which is a rare thing. I really only trust him, my general mechanic and myself to do any type of work on my vehicles. This is truly high praise coming from me. If you are looking for any type of exhaust work from OEM to aftermarket, or custom exhausts on the peninsula, south city muffler is truly the one stop shop.

I just left the South City Muffler shop, but I am leaving with a smile on my face. I couldn't be more happier with the job well done that Bill has done with my car. He is very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. My car had a horrible rattling sound when it was in gear it was starting to be embarrassing driving around town, but after leaving Bill's shop the sound was so peaceful. Thank you Bill for your service and for the service you have done in South City throughout the years. I hope my review can guide others to your shop and I wish you nothing but the best for this year. I am one happy customer :) thank you!

Bill is very humble and friendly and his work is a-1 and trust me I've looked around for different shops and bill is a one-man team with years of experience. He is the only guy that lets you look at the work before and after and tells you what he's doing step by step, unlike other shops that take your car and make you wait in a waiting room. I would give him 6 stars if I could. So take my word for it, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again bill and thanks for being old school and keeping it that way for all these years.

Bill is an amazing person and an even greater muffler mechanic. He well advised me what to do, step by step before even committing with him. He got my 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW GP the right catalytic converter for it to be California compliance. At a fair price and friendly service. You can well see that the reviews add up. The experience on whats he s doing and deep care are what makes guys like Bill extraordinary. The special attention he brings to the customer is excellent. I went to South City Muffler for a Flowmaster muffler installation and a resonator delete on my 2004 Lexus GX470. Bill's service was outstanding! The quality of his welding and custom exhaust pipe work was a 10 on a scale of 10. If you have exhaust system needs, THIS IS THE GUY you need to see. He owns and runs this shop himself and has been in the business for 40 years and his attention to detail is top notch. Its a "first come, first served" place of business but call ahead and he'll work you in. The price for labor and materials was very reasonable for the work done; Bill and his shop are HIGHLY recommended!Service: Exhaust

Needed welding on running boards for truck. Got to shop just before closing. Bill stayed after hours to finish job. Before welding began, he told me everything that he would perform, step by step. Very professional, many years of experience. Would definitely return for future work and would highly recommend.

Very professional!I brought my Silverado 5.3 to get rid of the stock muffler and add new louder muffler and it came out sounding way better than before. My car felt way different after that job. South city muffler is the place you want to go for a muffler upgrade!!

Rough, you did my job halfway! When I went to question it, they wanted to charge me another $400. When I said I would come here to give my assessment, he came at me with complete arrogance. I don't recommend this place
