I made an appointment for a smog check but when I arrived I was told that the person who did the smog checks had quit the week before. So if you want a smog check done at Bay City Smog then you need to call them first before making an appointment or dropping in without an appointment. November 14, 2023 was when this happened.

Made an appointment and got seen real quick. The service was fast. Less than an hour. Got my paperwork and I'm all set! The technician was super friendly and I was able to wait with the car.

They took good care of me and got me in and out same day I called, got a tune up, brakes, rotors and a smog test all at a reasonable price.

Needed to register a new, out of state car in CA. Did not have the need to run the dyno because car is < 3yrs from purchase. Was in and out in 15 mins. Smog test result sent directly to DMV and I had no trouble registering the vehicle. Need a quick smog check? This is the place to go. They did my smog check quick all without the fuss. Was in and out within half an hour. Paul the technician was great and really friendly too. Definitely coming back.
