The manager Maria is probably the worst example of a leader by example. I have come to this location several times through the last few years. If you bring in any amount of oil and she is working she will make you weight till another employee comes to have your oil dumped. She never has checked how much they weigh, she just refuses. One time I was told I have to wait till her driver got back which was about 15 minutes. Another time I brought in about 20 oil filters (small motorcycle ones) and she said she would only take 5 because she does not have the room for more due to other customers bringing filters in. I've been in the back room and they use several 55 gallon drums to hold the filters. Other auto stores will take as many as you bring them. And their managers are friendly, helpful, and not lazy like Maria.

The guys working acted inconvenienced by my presence let alone my questions. Granted, it was near closing time, however I've had a lot better customer service at other locations. I was the only customer shopping and stood in front of the counter waiting to ask a question, while one employee sat by the register looking at his phone oh, and another was nearly six feet away organizing inventory on display near the register. I had to iniate the interaction and I did so by asking the guy who was sitting by the register if he was on the clock, (I wouldn't want someone to bother me on my lunch break.)He responded with, "Well, what do you need?" And after reading this right now, I feel kinda silly saying that this interaction bothered me, but it really did. I had already spent 5 or so minutes scanning the shelves of every aisle in the store, being the only customer there, I felt I should have been approached by an employee to assist me in my search. They didn't carry what I needed but I bought a tool I could use, anyway. Was going to rate 2 stars but will change to 3. The fact they didn't carry what I needed shouldn't weigh in on the review, considering it was a part for an aftermarket piece of stereo equipment.

Good place to come for parts if you need them quickly. Service is just okay since they've been short handed for a minute.

Needed to have my car battery changed, but wasn't totally sure that was the problem. Ryan offered to check the battery without hesitation, and when it was confirmed bad, he made it simple for me to pick the replacement and changed it for me in the parking lot. Really appreciated the genuine willingness to help and keep the process simple.

Cant wear a mask I have copd was told to leave store so I went to the local parts place down the road and spent my 1200 dollars there. U would think after 12 18 hr days keeping this town from burning down u could at least take my order out front. But no worries local business got my money enjoy!!

I went to drop off some used oil. An older man saw me on his way to the back so I asked him about used oil drop off. His reply was "I'm busy!" Ok, I know he was attending other customer but at least a "be there in a minute" would've been nice. Only reason I come here is for oil recycling purposes they lost my business long time ago and today's reaffirmed my choice.

O'Reilly auto parts is the best. I absolutely hate working on cars, therefore, I know next to nothing about working on autos so I really NEED all the help I can get when it comes to any " funny" sounds My auto might make, to that add being on a budget during this covid crisis I just can't afford to walk into a repair shop and say "fix it". The guys at Scott's valley O'Reillys went above and beyond the call of just doing their job, they were knowledgeable about how to check and see if a part was bad and talked Me through checking it. I have been to quite a few parts stores and have never found both the knowledge AND willingness to share said knowledge with Me. I really can't express my gratitude enoughfor their help and in hindsight regret not getting their names so I'm sure I'll be writing another review tomorrow after I go pick up My parts and install them...... -To be continued-.........

Disappointed that Staff declined to help me install headlight bulbs, even when dusk was approaching and I said one light was out. This has never happened to me before at O'Reillys - that's one of the reasons I shop here. Hopefully this will change, for the better.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the guys even came out to my car to make sure the part was compatible. Huge selection of common needs such as motor oil and light bulbs.

I went to get my headlight bulbs replaced under warranty because they stopped working after only a few monthes and i asked the woman at the counter if she could help me with this and she refused to help me retrieve the headlight bulbs from my car even though this is a service oreilly normally offers. She was very rude to me the entire time i was at the store and acted as if she didnt want me there. Not sure if i will ever go to this store again.

Fast, efficient, and helpful. They tested the battery and charging system in my car, found the belt I needed and had me on my way in just a few minutes. These guys get 4 stars!

Jonah was super rude to me, I ask if they had car battery, he said no so I looked for a while. I found it! I told him that they did have it and he said wow cool . I will never be going back to that o reillys again!

Okay so I'm here right now, I've gone to other O'Reillys and other places and they all know how to change a battery in a car. This place doesn't, they started the job took off our bar and disconnected the battery and then said oh this is too hard I can't do this. So my dad and I changed the battery right then and there instead. I don't understand how they don't know how to change a battery. Or they are plain to lazy. Do not ask John for help, he is the slowest and is not very knowledgeable about cars.

When I call almost every time at this time of day they hang up on me. Guess they don't want my money. I understand they are underpaid. But just pick up and say please hold. Loosing another customer as of now

Last few times I came in, I saw them not enforcing the mask policy on customers coming in or on the employees themselves when around costumers. If you are worried of catching covid-19, don't come here.

Ive been using winchester auto since 1978 and there customer service went so far down hill i went to your store in scotts valley ca and you guys have great cust service! I will never use winchester auto ever again. You won me over. Thank you. Take that from someone who has been in cust service since 1978.

Drove all the way here from Boulder Creek because Google said they were open till 9pm, but at 6:15 they were already closed. Might be a nice store when they're open though
