I put a shout out for a good and trustworthy mechanic on the app. Nextdoor. I got several referrals for Larry's Auto. I took my 2008 Honda Fit in for a new clutch it needed the whole clutch kit. The mechanic laughed and asked me how long it had been that way. Everybody there made me feel comfortable the price felt good to me and it was done in great time. They are all great there and I certainly recommend them Thanks Everybody. Sherry Stevens

An amazing team with stellar service. The window of time to accommodate my need was so swift, and hands down very comforting. Phillip was swift, accurate, knowledgeable and provides personal top level customer service. The office staff and service team deserve beyond 5 s. Smog performed on my Porsche was smooth, swift and economically cost saving. Clean garages and well organized. Stopped by in the morning to see about a smog check, they were able to schedule me for that afternoon. Once I arrived it was maybe 10-15 minutes and I was on my way! Quick, friendly service!

Always incredibly helpful, honest, and reliable! I made the mistake of taking my car in for a repair I had already done, and they promptly helped me realize I didn't actually need to do that repair. I recommend!

I had my truck in for a wheel alignment today, and the results were evident the minute I pulled out onto the road. No more fighting to keep it in the lane, it goes straight down the road with no drifting left or right. It feels smooth, no vibration. I am so pleased, and can only wonder why I waited so long? I had shock absorber issues they diagnosedThey found oil leaking from last oil changedIn other store write documents for me so I can get reimbursed and they do fabulous jobChanging shock absorbers etc this my favorite place for me to go with my car and my family they are very attentive professional and. Quick & friendly service. Called Wednesday to book truck in for smog check, had an opening the following morning. Smog check done in 20 mins, reasonable price. Highly recommend! Will go back again.

I know auto shops in this area real well, most every one. They won't stay in business if they don't do decent work, and ripoffs are always exposed. So what are the defining differences? What makes one shop shine brighter than others?Ownership. Especially accessible, local ownership. Period.Larry's is owned and operated by a family embedded deep in our local culture, with mom, dad, oldest son and cute little dog onsite each and every day. You'll be greeted by service coordinator Christy, who embraces, even elevates the level of Donald and Sandy's humble cheer, and you'll not smell a whiff of smoke or foul chemicals at all.I would not normally comment on integrity because it's just presumed. If they don't have it, they'll advertise that they do, and those you just avoid. But outright honesty at the level on display from Donald is rare and refreshing to feel these days. That's right, feel. When you see it and hear it, you can't help but feel it cuz it's just so charming, so genuinely humble it's disarming, and that sets a standard the staff all rise up to.Good job Brenner clan, all of you. You shatter the sketchy industry stereotypes we hear all the time, and it makes us all smile along with you.

Donald and Sandy (hope I got their names right) were absolutely amazing during my visit to their shop. I took my car in because of a check engine light. I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent service and fair prices. In fact, Donald is my go to guy now.... He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Donald, Sandy and Christie are very professional, straightforward, and helpful. The prices are reasonable too. Donald recently diagnosed a complicated computer problem with my car. He went out of his way to explain the issue to me and made sure the problem got fixed. I've used Larrys auto for my familys suv, van and car, 3 of them, my sons and my two. I'm very happy with the terrific fast service, mechanics and price of the work done. My son had a starter put in, I had a SUV suspension banging issue and just had a new PCV put in my van. Larrys is top notch in my book and very friendly to their customers. Sandy and the team have always been great to work with...Excellent Customer Service!! They have repaired multiple cars for multiple issues along with normal maintenance. They have been a life saver for last minute travel emergencies. This was the first time I went to to Larry's and it was an excellent experience. Booking an appointment was really easy for a smog check. Once I was there everyone was really friendly and did not had to wait for to long. I'll definitely return and send my friends over. Thank you everyone for their excellent service.

Sandy and Christie are awesomeIf your looking for a honest shop that will fix your car correctly at an honest price!Coil and spark plug popped out when driving to Santa Cruz !This crew repaired it correctly and quickly!Recommend this shop to EVERYONE in Scott s Valley !

My first time back to this business after it reopened. Only have gotten a CA state smog certification so far and haven't had any repairs or maintenance yet. I was not pleased with the work of the former owner, who passed away, but everyone says the new ownership is great. It's a local family business run by a highly experienced mechanic along with his wife and a son plus several employees. The shop is cleaner and better organized than before. The shop is busy. Will update this review as I get more experience with the business, but so far it's a solid thumbs up.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Outstanding work, done for less than I was quoted elsewhere.A good friend recommended them to me. I'm recommending them to you.5/22:My little brother had a mystery electrical fault in his Prius, which is his source of income.I had to put my Highlander in for maintenance and inspections, prior to an upcoming road trip.Both instances were handled the day after the initial call.Both cars went in at 1:00 (on different days).Both were back in our possession by the end of the day, issues resolved.Some folks you just can't praise enough.Recommended.

Miguel is a LIFESAVER. He helped my family get back onto the road after 10 minutes for FREE when other places in the area were charging more for the same thing. If you see him give him a holler!

Very honest and straight forward I feel like they care about doing the right thing and getting your car fixed at minimal cost. Can't ask for better than that. We have had Larry's Auto work on all 3 of our vehicles mostly tune ups and inspections and have always been happy.

My 17 year old daughter s car was having problems. She took it to a mechanic that charged her $250 to tell her it had a cracked cylinder and was unsafe to drive. She called me crying believing her Mazda with 70k miles on it was not fixable. I called Anthony who is Larry s son and he refused to believe the cylinder was cracked. We brought it to him for a 2nd opinion and he found NO crack in the cylinder. He found a leak that was over the spark plugs causing the car to misfire and idle rough. He literally saved us $20k from buying a new car. We also told Anthony about the broken AC that another shop told us was not worth fixing because it would take a lot of work and they couldn t guarantee that they could fix. Well Anthony repaired the AC! I was blown away (no pun intended) the AC works just like the car, everything in LIKE NEW condition. I cannot thank Larry s automotive enough! Anthony is the best mechanic I have ever met.
