This is the cleanest, most professional, and most amazing wrap job I ve ever had on a car. I ve had 4 wraps performed over the years, and A Shade Darker is hands down the best. The owner of the company Joe, could not be more stand-up and he genuinely cares that your car comes out the way you want. The meticulous attention to detail is amazing. I dropped my Rivian R1S off on a Monday, went over what I wanted done (XPEL Stealth, Ceramic Coating, and tint), and it was ready on time end of that week. When I went to go pick it up, Joe had it on a charger (totally unexpected but amazing perk) and walked over my Rivian with him. Not a flaw with their work.This is actually my second job with Joe and Shade Darker. I took my previously wrapped Tesla to have them remove the wrap. Due to the wrap being done improperly at another shop, it took painstakingly days to remove it. Once again exceeding my expectations, when I showed up to pick it up the car looked BRAND NEW. More amazing work by them. Joe and his staff went above and beyond and made sure the price was fair.I cannot recommend A Shade Darker enough. Amazing shop, and one of the most honest and stand-up individuals in Joe that I ve ever met.

Wow, what service and fabulous installation that the team at A Shade Darker did on my brand new Mazda CX-90 last week! I called Monday morning for a quote, and by 1:00 PM same day, 7 windows were tinted to our exact request. We are extremely satisfied with the products and service provided by A Shade Darker

I just picked up my car from A Shade Darker and i m in LOVE. It ended up being $125 for the front side windows which they finished in 30 minutes, and it looks absolutely perfect, no imperfections. I recently used A Shade Darker to get my new Porsche Cayenne windows tinted as well as wrapped with their clear PPF option. The quality and professionalism was exceptional and I highly recommend them!

Have taken every car I've owned here and will always! Great service, great quality, and prices! I have taken my car to other shops and they messed up after multiple attempts, but have never had that experience with A Shade Darker! I ended up taking it to a Shade Darker to rip off the bad tint from the other shop and redo it the right way. They nail it the first time every time and really know what they are doing and use quality materials.

These guys are great! They are super knowledgeable and did an amazing job applying the PPF on the front end of my Cayenne - highly recommend them.Shade darker replaced the PPF after the original application was peeling in less than a year. The original shop, which was recommended by the dealer, did a terrible job and A Shade Darker removed and replaced the entire front end on the car - it looks GREAT! Madison was amazing and went above and beyond communicating w/ the shop out in Brooklyn to make sure they got everything sorted out. They didn't need to do this since they were not involved or affiliated w/ the original application but I really appreciated this and it shows how great their customer service is.Hands down - a great shop!!

In June 2023 I started looking for someone to do a ceramic tint on my VW ID.4 Pro S, which has a panoramic glass roof. I initially emailed a dozen shops, got quotes, and called the top 3 to see what their availability was like.A Shade Darker was about 4 weeks out at the time, but I scheduled anyway because they had my preferred tint. I told them if they had a cancelation, to let me know and I could drop off the car with about an hours notice.A week or so went by, and the office called me because they had a cancelation and I jumped on it. That morning we finalized the tint levels and they took the car.About 6 hours later I got the call that it was done... The tint job was excellent, and most people would be hard pressed to find imperfections.I think the piece that was most impressive to be was the level of care that was taken with my vehicle and its contents. My toddler had a blanket in the car which in my haste I knocked off the back seat that morning. Someone at the shop picked it up, folded it, and put it in the storage pocket behind my seat with the rest of my toddlers things. I wouldn't have faulted anyone for leaving it on the floor, stepping on it, etc... But, the simple act of picking it up so it would be out of the way speaks volumes about this shop, the people who work there, and the care they in doing a great job.I have little interest in ever using another tint shop after my experience.

They did an awesome job on my 2008 Mazda 3 iSport! Waited there they initially told me it would take 3 hours and they were done with it in under 1 hour! Car windows look spectacular! The %5 blackout on ALL windows (except front windshield) really changes the overall look of your car from nice to super cool. Hands down best window tinting service in Sonoma County and were surprisingly very affordable. 4 windows tinted for $300 out the door, and even hooked me up with a free bottle of window cleaner.

Excellent experience and service. They did a great job on my tesla model 3 and even installed my smoked headlight tint for free !! Highly recommended....call for quote and book a time asap as slots fill up fast especially in summer time.

A Shade Darker did an amazing job on my 2023 BMW IX using the Xpel PPF Stealth on the paint and the gloss on the trim. The edges are tucked, making it easy to clean. They also did my window tinting and windshield protection (heads up, get the windshield protection, it's already save my windshield while driving down I-80). Whenever someone ask about my car, they are always shocked that it's a wrap. The team here is knowledgeable, communicates well, and is happy to help you with any concerns. I've been driving my new car for a month and have had no issues with paint chips or scratches. The quality of their work definitely shows, and I highly recommend them.

This is the place to go for window tint and ppf (clear bra). I had them tint my car windows, then came back for the ppf, and have an appointment to have my second car done. They do absolutely amazing work and are very competitively priced. They install XPEL which is an industry leader in tint and ppf. Additionally, everyone I have encountered is really friendly. This is THE go to place for window tinting. They did my Accord years back, they did my Pops Mazda 6 and the quality of work is superb. No gaps at all, no bubbles, it shows that they really care about doing a good job. The location is a bit out there, just keep going down the auto row and they re the first street on the right in the industrial buildings. That still won t stop me from getting every car I own done here and recommending everyone to go to this place. I am extremely happy with the product, services & professionalism of this establishment!The owner is awesome & so is his staff!They took the necessary time to explain the differences of each product in detail ( I ask alot of questions) & then did an amazing job. I am very happy with how it turned out!Testimonial:The day that I was to pick up my car after the PPF was installed, I get a call that it was completed. As I was on my way to pick it up at A Shade Darker, someone hit my car (front/driver's side) while it was parked in their parking lot. When I arrived & saw what had just happened, I was naturally a little upset as I had just spent $2500 for the PPF to protect from rocks, scratches, etc. At first glance, it did not look good at all, but then the Owner (Joey) began to peel the PPF from my front bumper & what looked like damage to my bumper & flare turned out to be a scrape/scuff because of the Paint Protection Film (PPF). Unreal!Instant testimony...it works! I had a great experience tinting my car here. Very professional. It is clear when you walk into the shop that these people care about the customer experience. Clean and comfortable waiting room with free snacks and drinks. Friendly and professional staff, and they finished my car on time and it looks great.I overheard the staff talking about the difficulty of customers that schedule on the weekends and then never show up. They have a team they need to pay.PSA: Be decent people! If you schedule an appointment anywhere, don t bail without notifying 48hr in advance. We lose good service and amenities when people take advantage of businesses like these.

Both my mother and I have taken all of our cars here for any tinting/protective cover needs. I even convinced my boyfriend to take his car here, because he liked the work so much. It is always very well done. If there are ever any issues, the staff is willing to work with you to figure out how to best fix it. No other tint place in Sonoma County could ever compare to them. Always looks very high quality.

This is my go to for window tinting in the Santa Rosa area. For years, every car I've had have been tinted by A Shade Darker. The are fast, provide excellent service and I've had Zero issues with their work. You may pay a little more but will no be disappointed.

These peeps tinted my vehicle. I was very satisfied with the result.The front desk took care to explain my options so I could make an informed decision (I had no previous experience with auto tint).There was a small issue during my tint install, but they handled it professionally. How businesses deal with exceptions is important, and they get high marks from me.My tint install is a great job! Solid recommendation for them. I also like my lifetime warranty.

THE go-to spot in the county for all things auto film related. The team here has always been on-time, professional and personable too. I've been taking my cars here for 15 years at least. Never disappointed. I highly recommend. I even drive an hour from Sonoma because they are the best.

Customer service was excellent. They tinted the windows on our new Tesla, the job was done perfectly and they accommodated us by allowing the car to remain in the garage an extra night, and returning it fully charged. Would highly reccomend.

A Shade Darker did an excellent job on my 2019 wrx. I would definitely recommend it to others. It was a bit more expensive than other places that I had gone to, but it is definitely worth it. Their customer service was very friendly and they explained well what tint would be better for my car. I am very happy with how my car turned out and I will definitely return for future tints.
