We are on a motorcycle trip from KY to the west coast. We stopped into this Auto Zone tonight needing to change the oil on our motorcycle. We explained the situation to Matt (the store manager) and he bent over backwards helping us out. He let us use some loaner tools and also disposed of the used motor oil and filter for us. I wish all auto parts stores had outstanding personnel like Matt. You should shop here, ask for Matt. Thank you again MATT!

Called at 9:30pm on 12/13/22 asking to see if they had a part in stock, they proceeded to ask what the part number was 6 different times and they couldnt find it, then i just asked by the name of the part and they asked me if it was a completely different wrong part. I could also hear the other workers laughing and talking about smoking weed in the background, the customer service is horrible, they never seem to have the part, and none of the workers know anything about cars.

Very clean and helpful store. I did park next to the cashier that left on break before I checked out. As I entered my car he was dosing what I presumed to be medical MJ. Otherwise I have had good experiences.

When I'm looking for lug nuts for my grandmother-in-law's car whoever worked on her car before boogered up one side of them they didn't have what I was looking for they would have had to order them I didn't have two days to wait so they sent me over to your competition O'Reilly's they had what I needed in stock

Assistant manager Leslie was my hero today! She went above and beyond to help me install a headlight light bulb. From the initial phone call to the purchase and installation of light bulb, the support I received was thorough and timely and my issue was addressed. Thank you Auto Zone team for all your help today. Special thanks to Leslie for the amazing customer service she provided.

This store is horrible. They can't find the right parts they have horrible customer service. I have literally lost all faith in weather the workers even know what they are doing. We told a worker we needed a specific filter and showed said worker where it was in a book that is provided the response was no one knows how to read that book. Then they tried to sell us the wrong part. When we said it was wrong they tried to say they didn't have it and that we had to drive across town. They didn't even double check or call. The guy who rang us up was rude and uninviting. This is probably the last time I go into that store. Some stuff isn't expensive but let me tell you I would rather spend more for better service.

when i went to auto zone today, i had a great experience- i was tended to immediately, had a friendly associate help me out, and it was speedy. i only have one complaint, as he was kindly installing my new battery, i noticed he left trash on the floor of the parking lot. i knew he was leaving it there because he let the wind just take it away. PLEASE have all your associates know that people like me like to keep a clean and beautiful Santa Maria and that there is no room for litter. there is enough garbage in the ocean. thanks!

I ordered a part to be held for pick up on 5/14/2021. After being put on hold for 10 minutes I was finally confirmed that the part was there, and that I could make the 30-minute drive to pick it up. The young man at the parts counter pulled up the parts, and they were wrong. Not only that, but they didn't have the brakes I needed. I offered to accept lower-quality gold pads in exchange for my Duralast elite pads (after all, I drove 30 minutes to pick these up). Alas, the man helping me wasn't willing to put in the extra five minutes it would have taken to conduct the exchange. This location is severely understaffed, and the staff that are there are incompetent. I am never conducting business with this location.

Went in store, 3 clerks working, would not acknowledge me nor reply. I am not Hispanic and got the feeling I was ignored for this reason. The small clerk smirked when I walked out. I am new in town and this was first visit and probably last. Store was clean and well stocked.

Had to go back to AutoZone today, for my husband. I was greeted by a 'new super friendly' associate. His name is Lucas. He greeted people as they walked in the door and was sure to tell others he would be with them shortly. The employee who has been there for a while could really learn customer skills from Lucas. I was floored when he asked me "how was my day going?" I left AutoZone with a smile on my face.

This morning I was just starting my day. I had purchased an ignition switch for my motorhome the previous night. I did not need it, so today I went to the AutoZone on North Broadway in Santa Maria,ca.. I returned the item without hassle. So I thought I would look through the store for something to buy. I browsed in every aisle. Every time I turned the corner I had an employee ask if I needed help. I told them No I'm looking now. In 20 minutes I was asked 5 times by 5 separate people, and 2 times by 1 employee within 10 minutes. Then had an employer follow me. Unnecessarily. Through out the store. I made no attempt to take anything, I made every attempt to show otherwise. The manager walked up to me for no reason and asked if I needed help. I told him No I'm looking thank you. He then asked me rudely. Your not putting anything in your pockets are you? I asked him what did you say? He repeated " your not stealing are you very hard and sarcastic to me. I told him would you like to see my pockets ? I will show you if it makes you feel better. He very rudely said no leave the store if you come back I will have you arrested for tresspassing. I asked what I did for him to warrant that behaviour he said nothing I can refuse you if I want leave my store. Now I'm insulted publicly, banned from my auto part store for nothing and discriminated from a Hispanic manager because I'm white. The other customers were all Hispanic just like the manager . I want a public apology I demand it. And I want the biggot manager the Hispanic male who refused to show me his name tag . Fired for the wrongful mistreatment I received and his hateful attack on my racial liberty's. AutoZone should be closed down for allowing that behaviour. He is their reprasentitive and they condone his acts. So I'm going to file a lawuit on those grounds .

Went into Autozone and was quickly greeted by an associate named Sylvester. He was super friendly and helped me find the part I needed. Went above and Beyond and installed my wiper blades in the rain. I tried to give him a tip for helping but he politely declined and said it goes against his morales, as he lives for the Autozone pledge to help customers. That kid deserves a raise

I have noticed everytime I shop there, I feel unwelcome. I have a strong feeling Caucasian customers aren't welcome and will NEVER be hired there. They need to be reported!

Excellent staff, super helpful. I needed oil change and tune up materials for my new RV and it was a breeze getting everything I needed. In and out, really knowledgeable young men.

If I could leave zero stars I would , called their store to buy a big bulk of parts I needed for a car , they put me on hold and hung up after the 2nd time I called again and the guy who picked up was really rude , this store lost a good amount of money . called orielys across the street and was greeted respectfully, don t do business at this autozone store

This place and the people that work there are freaking Liars. About 25 minutes ago I went in there asking for transmission fluid for my 2011 Lancer ES the guy who was there said that my car takes the diamond premium stuff he went back and ask his boss his boss said no they don't sell it and he told me all Riley's and Napa in another store don't tell him he said in the only place I can get them it's from the dealership . Guess what morons O'Reilly's Auto Parts across the street from you guys so that got out there I'll be going back to them and not you guys

I drove all the way from paso robles that the guy told me they had my part which I called every part store from paso to santa maria and they did not have, when i got to santa maria the guy pulled my reserved part and it was not correct and they did not have stock either
