This has been the most efficient and probably the best dealership experience my partner and I have had. Both Sanders (sales) and Aaron (financing) were very very helpful and made the process as quick and easy as possible. I called in the morning to do an inventory check of the car I wanted and Sanders made sure the car is ready for us to check out right when we got there!! We were greeted right away upon arrival mid afternoon and were able to drive test the car literally within a minute. Both explained about the car/financing thoroughly and answered all the questions we had confidently. Aaron made it very easy for us to understand the financing terms and the additional services we opted in for. He even went above and beyond by making some further calls and lowered our interest rate by 3%!!! If you re looking for a quick, honest, fun, and extremely transparent transaction, this is the place to be! The whole experience only took about 2 hours (arrived 2:30 and left around 4:45) and we were on our way out with our new car. Highly recommend and definitely would go back in the future!

This is simply the best car buying experience I ve ever had in 41 years of my life. Straight forward, no hidden anything. Kind staff from the sales team to the finance department all the way out the door. I truly feel taken care of and for that this review is the least I could do.Bought a BMW in the past (totally ripped me off). Stopped at Land Rover for a couple years (worst service out). Now finally landed here at Toyota. I feel really good. Thank you to everyone who helped in my process. Special thanks to Halston (wow - your word and integrity is clearly a priority). To Vinny who walked me through the whole process (when I wasn t sure, you made me comfortable and met me in the middle). Otto in finance, no curve balls, no pressure just facts and options. Lastly to the gentleman who helped program my car and get me out early so I could make it to work - thank you very much. I wish I remembered your name. Everyone here was a true professional. Highly recommend Toyota Rancho Santa Margarita!

I had the worst experience a person could have at Nissan in Irvine. It turned to be a Lemon. This place is night and day. Quite the opposite of them.Everyone here is so helpful and professional! If you are looking for a dealer who is truthful and real with you, go to Sanders. He is very knowledgeable. If you have any questions about the functions in your new vehicle, go to Cherell. Even the manager, Dan, was helpful when I was lost about something. He went out of his way for me. People actually smile and greet you.Thanks Toyota in RSM.

Many would agree that one of the most disheartening experiences as a consumer is being misled for someone else's gain. This tactic, regrettably, is not new, especially within the car sales industry. Historically, the stigma surrounding car salespeople stems from decades of questionable sales tactics aimed at drawing potential buyers into deals that aren't as they seem. It's a shame, as not all sales professionals engage in such dubious conduct, and those who do tarnish the reputation of the entire profession.Now I drive a Tesla for my daily driver, however saw one of the new Prius Hybrids and saw they had a range of something like 500 miles (potentially ~150 mile range than my Tesla). Never owned a Toyota product so was very curious and motivated to pick up a new around town car to drive.My recent experience with Santa Margarita Toyota serves as a poignant example of this age-old issue. I received a text message indicating the availability of a new Prius Prime. Excited, I called and was assured by a salesman--not more than 30 minutes before my arrival--that two models were available and encouraged to visit the dealership promptly. Despite the rain, I packed up my son and headed to the dealership, only to find upon my arrival that both vehicles had supposedly been sold that morning.The attempt to address this misleading information with a manager only added insult to injury. Rather than acknowledging the clear miscommunication or attempting to rectify the situation, the manager chose to deflect and minimize the issue, even criticizing my choice of words in the heat of the moment, rather than addressing the root of my frustration.This situation exemplifies the very deceit and lack of integrity that perpetuates the negative stereotypes associated with car salespeople. The misleading behavior of the salesperson and the subsequent dismissal by the dealership's management not only wasted my time but also showcased a profound disrespect for potential customers. Such actions beg the question: if a dealership is willing to mislead customers to get them onto their lot, what level of honesty and service can one expect moving forward?In legal terms, this practice could be seen as a form of "bait and switch," a deceptive tactic where a seller advertises an attractive offer that is not genuinely available to consumers but uses it to 'bait' them into other purchases. While not accusing Santa Margarita Toyota of this specific legal infraction, the parallels in deceptive intent and the misuse of customer trust are glaringly apparent.Wrapping things up, my experience at Santa Margarita Toyota was not just disappointing but deeply unsettling. It serves as a stark reminder of the importance of integrity in business dealings and the long way the car sales industry still has to go in eradicating deceptive practices. Potential customers deserve honesty, respect, and transparency, not manipulation and mockery. It is my hope that by sharing my story, others will be spared the frustration and disrespect I endured.I recommend on Google reviews click "Lowest" and you will be presented with a concerning long list of people just like you, who had a horrible experience with this dealership. I was assured two Prius Primes were available right before I left. Yet, upon arrival, I'm told they sold that morning a direct contradiction to your claim they sold during my short drive over. This discrepancy questions your dealership's honesty and highlights communication flaws or possible deceit.Your focus on my "foul language" ignores the real issue: misleading practices by your sales team. My words expressed frustration, not insult. By dismissing this as a reason to end our business relationship, you're avoiding the larger problem of integrity.Misleading customers harms trust and your reputation. I had the most amazing experience at Santa Margarita Toyota. Wade helped me out and listened to exactly what I wanted with budget as well as my pros and cons in a car. We looked at 3 options and settled on the Corolla Cross which transparently I didn t think I d be able to get. But with the help of the salesmen I was able to lease it and also receive an amazing deal.Thank you Santa Margarita Toyota and Wade Dungan for all the help. I am immensely grateful.

Toyota RSM was recommended to me by several friends. They said they are the best! And I have to second that notion. It was an exceptional experience. Sanders, Aaron, Daniel and Ryan were on top of the game. Very kind, patient, informative and consistent. They made the process of purchasing a new vehicle super easy and fun. The entire visit was pleasant and the staff was prompt and cordial. The saving grace was the putting green keeping my kids entertained while my old lady shopped. Definitely recommend your next car buying experience to be at RSM Toyota because I know my next car will be.

We just got our 2nd vehicle from Santa Margarita Toyota and they never disappoint! This time Gavin F. helped us out and was super attentive, got us lots of options and really came through on making sure all of our needs were met. Needless to say we didn't have any hard negotiations or deal making since that is not how they do business but instead we got a great price and exactly the trim and options we wanted on a new 2024 Tundra! Gavin was present during the whole sale and definitely provided concierge level service. Never buying a Toyota anywhere else, they never let us down and shine in a different light than regular dealerships. Stoked 2-Time SM Toyota Patron Family over here!

Been here twice and referred people but this last time was probably the last. They couldn't find my appt despite booking it online over a month ago, refused to do an oil change for an upcoming cross country trip because "I wasn't due yet", despite my wanting to pay for it to avoid having to do it on the east coast when it was due and then quoted me $700-$800 for my next service but when I look on the Toyota website those services are not listed for that mileage. Then I get a phone call asking why I didn't show up for my appt?? Not sure if I caught them on a bad day or if she was new but now I have to find another place to do my oil change in the next few days. Overall not pleased with them when the last 2 visits were great.

I've always had an amazing experience at this dealership. I've purchased 4 cars from them already and plan to purchase more. I've always worked with Kevin he's very helpful, very friendly and the best part, his not pushy like all salesman I've dealt with at other dealerships in the past. Everyone from finance to parts and service are awesome. Overall I would highly recommend this dealer for your new car. Ask for Kevin trust me he will not let you down he will go above and beyond to find you the car you want and won't pressure you to purchase it if you don't like it.

First time I went to this place for my Camery vehicle engine oil change. It took more than five hours to ger it done. I have never waited for such incredibly long time just for a simple engine oil change anywhere in my life so far. When I picked up my vehicle, I got very upset about the 5-hour waiting, the service manager talked to me a reason that they were busy today. He has repeated this reason since I dropped my vehicle at the beginning. So, I told him " I don't want to listen to your reasons and don't treat me as a stupid person with very upset voices of mine". Today this place so-called Director called me on the phone to threaten me that saying" Do not come to my place anymore if you do not respect my employees whatever I do not want to listen to your explanation of how I am running my business (I suggested how to improve such delay of engine oil change process, I believe business always needs customers' feedbacks as a part of benefit to improve any kind of business bad practice). He seems no such common sense to listen to customer's feedback for improvement to avoid such delay. His bossy attitude just wants me to shut off my mouth and not to complain about the incredibly delay that really hurt customer interests and caused me a big loss! Also, I scheduled the appointment a week ago that I expected it could shorten my waiting time. As a customer doesn't care about how busy you are and only care about is to accept a reasonable time to wait for a simple engine oil change to be done. I believe one start is more than I give to this Toyota dealership!!! I definitely never go back to this place for the rest of my life! Also, I told lots of people about the story, nobody said they would not be upset about the situation!!!

This was our 4th vehicle purchased and once again, everything went smoothly. Kevin Young is such a nice and honest salesman. Never any pressure or gimmicks. Went to other Toyota dealers and didn t have the best experience, but RSM is operating at a different level. Karen in fleet did amazing finding us our Grand Highlander and kept us up to date on the ETA. We will be back for our 5th.

Love going to this Toyota dealership. Me and my family have been going here for years and everyone is always so helpful. My regular sales guy was out for the morning but Nick was great! He was so knowledgeable, nice and not pushy! So glad he was able to help me! I would 100% recommend going here and ask for Nick!

My wife and I love this place!!! Since we got there we felt welcomed we didn t feel like we were being preyed on. Otto Jimenez and Ron Dominguez were amazing answering every question we needed and that gave us the peace and comfort to purchase our New 2023 Camry SE. We would definitely continue to come here to purchase our future cars.

I always feel I got a fair deal in service when I deal with Thomas as my service writer. He explains everything in simple terms and tries to get everything covered in my Toyota extended service contract first before telling me I have any additional costs on my high mileage 4runner.

Update : Robin has since called me to resolve the situation. Car issues were addressed.Had an extremely poor interaction with Robin.Recently bought a car and has some concerns we brought up and we were waiting to receive a call back, my number is correct on file as I've talked someone else through it but for some reason they were not able to get the call through.We called ourselves today and while the general outcome isn't desirable it's fine if it just is what it is, what isn't fine is the way Robin responded to us when we had to call back about another issue with my power seat not working as intended and creating a grinding noise/feeling when I move it. I brought this issue up last week when I went down to the dealer to initially talk about the original issue and when my car was taken to the service area it was gone for less than 10 minutes and came back with my driver seat not being touched. As this is obviously still an issue we called back to ask about an issue with the power seats Robin interrupted rudely with "I already said there's nothing we can do" so it's clear he doesn't want to deal with us.This is really disheartening that I was met with such hostility from someone who's been with this company for so long.

Shout out to Jim for helping me out.I was searching for a Rav 4 and didn't think I'd like the lunar rock color. But after talking to Jim, I ended up coming by anyway and turns out, it was better than I thought. Jim was super informative and easy to talk to. Everyone at the dealership was fantastic! I went in to get my car serviced and instead of getting it serviced I ended up buying a new car , everyone made the process super smooth and easy. I didn t plan initially on being there for very long and I got hungry, so they even bought me lunch and made me as comfortable as possible . I highly recommend this dealership. I was pleasantly surprised when purchasing my RAV4 XLE Hybrid from Santa Margarita Toyota. I heard that they were haggle free but I also want to emphasize that they are hassle free as well. Salesperson Nick V was especially helpful in showing me the new car's features. And the financing department was very accommodating regarding my credit review.I am normally a Honda guy but I m switching to Toyota because that s what this dealer sells. I expect to be a repeat customer for Santa Margarita Toyota and I am recommending them to everyone.

Q recommended a service on my car, which I followed up with. I was taken right in time, and was immediately offered an Uber to take me back home while I waited for service to be finished. An Uber was called to bring me back when my car was ready, and the price was a little under what was originally quoted that was a nice surprise. Q, as always, was friendly, professional, kind and very easy to work with. It s always been a pleasure to take my car here for service.
