So I have never left a review anywhere in my life online but I feel like it is a must just so others can be aware. Took my car in to get serviced and mentioned I heard my brakes speaking and asked them to check it out. They charged me for service but never mentioned anything about my brakes but said it was probably just dust. They said they saw a transmission leak that needed diagnosed so I brought it back on a Monday morning. It was there all day and around 4pm (3 hours before closing) I got a text saying that my transmission needs a seal and got quoted wait for it over $4,000 I double checked that they weren t asking me to replace my transmission completely and he said no it s just a seal . I then asked what costs $4k and he told me it was because they have to take the transmission out.. since they told me I would get the car back the same day and only 3 hours of business left, It made me think of switching jobs to whoever was getting paid over $1,400/hr for labor (Keep in mind my car is a Explorer and not in fact a Bugatti) even after I left and obviously said no to the quote, I could still hear my breaks squeaking and a slight grinding which they said was dust . I took it to a trusted friends mechanic to find there was absolutely no leak in my transmission and my break was starting to rub on metal. This cost me $250 instead of $4,000Please be cautious here. I had zero complaints until the 4k quote and everyone was super nice and helpful. I don t know who creates the quotes but just be skeptical and get second opinions!

Santa Margarita Ford provided a stellar service experience for my Super Duty. After needing some in-warranty work done, other local dealership service centers couldn't even be bothered to return calls, - I called up SM Ford and I had a service appointment in minutes. Jacob my service advisor and the techs did an excellent job in taking care of the warranty issues, and were prompt, communicative, and made it a super easy process.This dealer has my business going forward for service, - the tech even came out and explained a few features that were serviced to me, going above and beyond. Truly a pleasant experience and I am grateful.

My 730 am Appt today was rejected by rep because he said they do not honor my vehicle protection Platinum plan because it was through Auto Nation. The plan states the deductible for non-Auto Nation Networks is $200.00. Big disappointment in the dealership and knowledge of staff.There is nothing in the Vehicle Service Platinum Protection Plan that has the 25 mile radius rule you state in your reply.Also, I am still under the Ford Warranty since I m under 10,000 miles. Please feel free to call me with additional reasons. I m all ears.

This review is long overdue. I was in need of a vehicle back in Aug/Sept of 2023 and I was in contact with Max. He was extremely personable and professional, and within minutes of sharing with him my wants and needs in a vehicle I received a message of a beautiful truck that was exactly what I was looking for and in my price range. Throughout the buying process there was never any rush, pressure or extra sales and Max and the other individuals I came across simply respected my time, my money and wishes throughout the whole process.This dealership definitely goes against the grain from what a lot of other dealerships tend to do. I 100% will recommend this place to family, friends or anyone who is looking for a drama free car buying experience. Also, have had ZERO problems with my vehicle which is always nice. Bryan was very helpful with the purchase of our used Explorer ST. He was right to the point, went over all of the extras that Santa Margarita Ford offered but with out being pushy. I had the pleasure of working with Bryan during the buying process for my new truck, and it was by far the best experience I've had at a dealership. Bryan was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He was able to clearly explain and demonstrate all of the controls/creature comforts that my new vehicle had to offer. He dispelled any of the awkwardness that can come about from the "typical" dealership purchasing process, and got right down to brass tax when it came to pricing. 10/10 experience, and I'll absolutely be coming back to RSM Ford and Bryan in the future.

My first visit for my Escapes 1 year maintenance and check a noise from my brake pedal. All was done in a timely manner, and no problem with the pedals, was told the pedal sound is normal in cars today (don't remember the specific terms used). When I picked up my car, I learned how to connect my phone and the car (it's not intuitive to baby boomers), a great side benefit. I was happy with the service provided and the friendly staff.

I was in the market to purchase a car for my business by year end. After considering a few brand options I decided to go for the Explorer Limited and Nick Troy was great! We scheduled an appointment and he was easy to work with on the test drives and informative about the explorer options and Detail oriented in answering all of my questions, which I appreciate. Dave in Finance got me through the process as fast as I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend the SM Ford team to anyone.

I had a good experience my first time there. They were respectful and helped me with my center console that was locked and not opening. They ordered a new locking mechanism and said they will install it when they get it and it's under warranty so no charge. They also offered to wash my truck.

After contacting other dealers with disappointing results, I contacted Santa Margarita Ford in Rancho Santa Margarita. The online sales consultant, Christian Torbensen, was helpful, polite and focused on getting me into the truck we wanted at the price we wanted. Overall it was a very good experience. And, we are very happy with the truck.

am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had regarding the issuance of a check from your dealership. Unfortunately, this process has been marked by a series of missteps, miscommunications, and a lack of resolution, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied.The primary issue revolves around the mishandling of the check that was supposed to be issued to me. Despite multiple assurances and visits to the dealership, the check was never printed, leading to a significant waste of time and resources on my part. The lack of coordination and oversight in this matter has been exceedingly frustrating.Furthermore, the communication throughout this process has been severely lacking. I was given conflicting information on multiple occasions, and the constant need for me to travel back and forth to the dealership in the hopes of resolving the issue only added to the inconvenience. Clear and timely communication is crucial in such matters, and unfortunately, it was sorely lacking in this instance.I believe there is a clear need for improvement in the internal processes and communication channels within your staff. The mishandling of a simple check issuance has not only inconvenienced me but has also tarnished my perception of the dealership's professionalism and reliability.I urge you to review and enhance your internal procedures to ensure that such errors are minimized in the future. Additionally, providing comprehensive training to your staff on effective communication and issue resolution would go a long way in preventing similar incidents.

I recently needed service on my 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid. The check engine light came on and persisted even after a couple of repair attempts. I was provided a loaner car until the problem was solved. It took Ford's direct involvement and much effort on the dealership's part including replacement of the primary computer.I was continuously informed of progress and treated as though my business was valued.The problem is solved and I am once again enjoying my Maverick. I highly recommend this dealership and their extraordinary customer service.
