I ve used this Pep boys in the past, & was great. Now, not returning until this new manager is gone. Made appointment the day before to get rear bakes changed and the drop off in am. Had very busy day and couldn t return call until 1:30 when I got off. They hadn t touch it. Sat there for 3 hrs now. And changed brake disk that were still good. Took that old disk and not returning until changes. Not happy.

Henning, the manager, was excellent to work with. I needed two tires replaced under a mileage warranty. The tires were late to come in from the supplier, but he let me know immediately when they were in. He was highly flexible when I could come in so as to to accommodate my schedule. During installation, Henning and another tech took extra care not to damage my aftermarket wheels. It was a added surprise when he did not charge me for the installations, because I had a poor experience with a tech that had previously installed my tires a couple years back. Henning did that even though neither he nor his staff were responsible, and I certainly I did not expected it. That had happened under different management and staff, and during early Covid when all businesses were having staffing and turnover issues. I was very satisfied with Henning and his techs and overall experience, even before the unexpected discount.

They did a great job with my car. Henning C suggested the correct tire, ordered it and ensured the work is completed in a timely manner - clear & concise communication. Definitely recommend!

My appointment time was honored and the team made quick work of the oil change. The person working the desk was on day 3 of his new job, but he was efficient and communicative.

They did what I said nothing more.Only they checked tires.By the way they don t know how to use caradvise. First day I went there for drive belt replacement. They tried to change engine oil? Second day I was there on time but they couldn t find my appointment. Long story short after my visit I have two warnings lamp.

Review for Pep Boys at Glassel ParkI was assisted by associate Steven, he was very kind and patient, explaining the process of how they needed to replace my two front tires and my breaks. They spoke with my dad over the phone, who knows more about my vehicle than me, and were open about prices and timing of the services.

Awesome crew there at this PepBoys!! They went above and beyond to help out my daughter with an issue regarding her car. Every time she goes there she always has nothing but good things to say about them and their service. Highly recommend shopping or having service done there. A+++ Thanks guys!!

#UberInspection #LifetimeAlignmentTwo separate visits both great!Uber inspection service was about 5 minutes and unscheduled. Cost was $20.24.Scheduled lifetime alignment service was about 15minutes. Purchased at different location honored here. Cost was $0.00.Recommended

Great place for alignments. Tanner and his guys took extra care in getting my truck set up correctly. Communication is very proactive, as he called me while the truck was up on the rack and explained what they were looking at and asked if I was alright with what they could do. I wouldn t hesitate to bring a friend or family members car here.

Had two serious issues with my Jeep Grand Cherokee during a road trip to California. Both the AC and coolant systems went out and it had to be towed to Pep Boys. Despite not having an appointment, the Service Manager (Tanner) understood my urgency and performed a diagnosis on a Saturday and spent all day the following Monday and Tuesday getting me back up and running. Tanner kept me appraised throughout the process. They did a great job and Tanner was exceptional.

I took my car in to repair a nail in my tire and then to perform an alignment afterwards. In my appointment I said I would wait there for services. When I got there the service advisor was on the phone with another potential customer. I made eye contact with him and he did not acknowledge me. He continues with his phone conversation as if nobody was there in person even when 2 more people were waiting with me for about another 10 minutes. No urgency to take care of the actual customers in person. Ok we get passed that. He takes my keys and has me fill out my info on a paper, I get no estimate of costs. I leave to go grab food, no call. 2 hours go by and I have to call them. No update other than they are recommending a brake fluid flush? An hour later I get a call saying that they can't fix the nail in my tire because the tire tread is too low. And the alignment is not done yet! Information I could have used when I initially dropped it off. That's not the worst part. I pick up the car and the service advisor asked me if I want a copy of the alignment to which I said absolutely. Then he asked me if I wanted an invoice, as if these were not normal procedures. I drive off and my car is driving very wobbly, especially at higher speeds when the road is turning. I think to myself what could they have possibly touched to affect the drivability so much? The next day I go to inspect the problem in the first thing I noticed is that my front wheels' bolts are completely loose and I can take them off with my hand! If these wheels came off on my way home I could have gone into a major accident and could have been seriously hurt or even died.

Called in today 2/20 for a Tesla Model 3 tire rotation, Henning (new service manager) said $35, that my tires are no good per guideline when I measured using the same tool, I got 5/32. I was told they can't do it. Walked over to another shop who said it's Free tire rotation but I have to wait for 1 hour. Talked to Hemming at pepboys and he agreed to do it for $35. In and out in few minutes than waiting for an hour. Ended paying the technician, Anderson direct; Hemming mentioned to pay the installer.The previous manager who helped me was Mark, he left and new manager is Henning...Still good service.

This Pep Boys Auto Services is close to my house. I have used Pep Boys many times and they are always courteous and professional. They are also reasonable on prices. They offer discounts on things like brake repair. I have never had a bad experience with this Pep Boys. I would highly recommend this place

Service rep billed my invoice with a lower discount rate (@10%) than advertised (15%).The full inspection report indicated tire pressure was checked and showed factory recommended psi @48 on both rear tires. I bought in my vehicle knowing the rear tires were underinflated. I had purchased new tires from Costco and had them installed 2 days before my visit to Pep Boys. The work was not performed, and I ended up driving to Costco to have it inflated myself.The service rep and technicians were young, and perhaps training may improve the lack of due diligence in my opinion.Service Manager contacted me within a day to sort out the discrepancy. Problem solved. Happy customer!

Rude, unprofessional and disappointing to me.First, I arrived and had to wait for an unreasonable 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, even though the shop didn't seem busy. Finally, when they helped me, they couldn't finish the service I asked for. Instead of saying sorry or trying to fix the problem, they immediately tried to sell me more services at really high prices, like they thought I was easily fooled.Even though they couldn't do what I wanted, they insisted I pay for the time their technician spent on the incomplete job. It shocked me that they demanded payment even when I said I wasn't happy and didn't want to pay. And to make it worse, they could simply wave the amount they asked for but they said they will not wave it, which made me feel like they didn't care about my concerns. The disrespect I experienced during this whole thing was worse than I expected.After reluctantly paying, I got my car back from the mechanic's shop. But to my surprise, there were dirty handprints all over it. These marks were unprofessional and really hard to remove, so I have to wash my car again, even though I had just washed it literally 2 days ago.! like bro really??! The mechanic clearly didn't care about keeping my car in good shape or paying attention to details. It was disappointing, just spent a bunch of money for nothing!Based on my whole experience, I strongly suggest avoiding this mechanic. They make you wait too long, try to sell you things you don't need, disrespect customers, and don't take care of your vehicle. They're not a trustworthy business. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment I went through by staying away from this place.

I m never going back to pep boys. I got my drive shaft replaced and when I got my vehicle back I was hearing scratches under the floorboards. Turns out these jokers didn t reattach the hangers for my exhaust system. Could have easily had it fall out while driving and could have caused serious damage or an accident. These guys don t put you or your car first. They just want to rush u out after getting your money
