I have purchased 7 different vehicles in the past 17 years, and I want to say I have never had a better, more pleasant, smooth, experience, than the 2024 Honda Pilot Elite deal we completed at Honda Marin on Jan 30th.I just came back to the US after many years being away. I have been spending tens of hours (if not hundred) researching Honda Pilot through YouTube. I landed in the US in Jan 25th and my future job starts at Feb 5th. Almost a brand new country to me as I have been away for so long. There were other things I needed to do for the job onboarding. I knew I wouldn t have much time to go through all the hassles before my job. Still I wanted to save money and get a good deal.I reached out to many Honda dealers in Bay Area and LA. Some called me in claiming to have an Elite but then turned out only having a TS. Honda Hayward called me in and after test drive threw me a first pre-tax price over 60k on an Elite, and tried to keep me waiting while the salesperson tried to negotiate with the sales-manager, working down the number from that 60k point. I immediately tried to walk-away and found my car was blocked in their parking lot, and their sales-manager chased out and said angry words to me. If not for you guys, I might end up flying to LA and drive back one, or needing to go through the hassles with one of another Bay Area dealers.But the transaction with you guys was so smooth. The price was transparent and a great deal with already given in the first email. Through the emails, I confirmed all the discount, the dealer installment, and the fees, before me needing to come. As I took the $100 uber from Burlingame to your dealership, I had to say I couldn t let my guard down worrying additional terms or fees outside the email. But everything went so well. I got exactly what was promised. The discount, the total price, the APR.

Very friendly staff! Obi and Masi amazing personel! They were very helpful when purchasing my car. Probably the best staff working at Honda. Believe their sincerity and buy from these guys!

Proceed with caution. Thought I had a deal on a Pilot with their sales team but they tried to switch the interest rate from the Honda promotion rate at the last second. Luckily I caught it right before signing. They said it was either the price we agreed on the car or the interest rate, but not both. Had to walk out on the deal. Ended up at a different Honda dealer the same day that honored the same price and Honda interest rate. Ensure everything is in writing and review final deal.Two stars because experience up until the final switch of numbers was good

My son needed a car and we thought about coming here to Honda Marin. First, I noticed how their sales team came to greeted us and other potential customers. I was really amazed how quickly they were there to help every customer. In the past I have had dealerships just look at you and not acknowledge us. This is one of my decisions when it comes to doing business with what dealership (customer service). OBAID Was very kind, helpful, and a great personality. I really enjoyed the fact that it wasn t a salesman that tries to upgrade you to an expensive car. He was knowledgeable and gave a good recommendation of vehicles for the use of it (5 stars). Secondly, the financedepartment was very kind and professional. The process was very smooth and easy. He explained everything very well and was patient on showing me different number for different options. (5 stars as well). This is why I rate this experience and Honda Marin with 5 stars.

Excellent customer service. Courteous, knowledgeable and very responsive to our needs. Test drive was great explained the car very well. We end up buying the Honda civic sedan for our grand daughter, Jasmine. Detail oriented and go all out to make sure we are happy and satisfied at the end. Cannot ask for more. Special mention to Ron Edwards for making us feel at home.

Had the BEST experience at Honda Marin service department today. Rolly and his team took excellent care of me and the service was so fast and a great price for the tire repair. They even took care of my Lyft to pick me up from my home and take me to the dealership and washed my car!! My goodness. I will definitely be going back to them for my service from now on.

Honda Marin provided an excellent service. They were punctual, attentive , friendly, nice professional, Brian was the person that took care of me but everybody seemed nice.They were in time my car feels fantastic and thank you guys so much for the extra very nice gesture they washed my car including vacuuming. I definitely will go back when my car needs Service and I will recommend to other people.

After several days of searching for a new car and some bad experience's at other dealerships, My wife and I found Marin Honda. We were treated well and worked out a great deal. 1. Highly recommend if you are a MALE shopping for a car. My husband and I (a female) emphasized many times that we are looking for a car for me, who will drive it daily and pay the bill. They ignored it, and all the mail and email I received either only had my husband's name or listed him as the primary person.2. Lie no.1 When we first visit, we told the salesperson that we were browsing and not buying yet. He pressured us to fill out information, assuring us it wouldn't affect our credit. Later, we discovered that it was a lie, confirmed by their sales manager. (I wish the sales manager was our salesperson. At least he is honest) Before we left, he lied AGAIN. He asked me to sign a paper for making a copy of my driver's license for the test drive. It turned out to be a consent to do a credit score pull. Lie with bad skills...3. Lie no.2 We were told that the vehicle could be remotely started via the Honda app, but after purchase, we found out this was not the case.I ignored the lies during the purchase process because the car I ended up buying fits all of my criteria. I am writing this review in the hope of helping others avoid the terrible discrimination experience and lies we encountered.

Had a nice appt there to have my oil changed and check my recall. The check in was great and easy and he was very helpful. He called me in an hour to tell me it was completed and I could pickup car. Also, let me know that I had several more free oil changes under my warranty.

Friendly professional staff, Geovanny was very nice, showed me everything about the car, etc., excellent. I waited quite a bit, 1 1/2 hours, for the finance guy. This was on a Sunday. Had to come back the next day Monday, to pick it up, waited again for the finance guy an hour or so maybe more than one is needed? He was nice, just the only one?

Would like to say that out of all the local Honda dealerships around the area Marin Honda is the way to go. Not only do they work with you on the deal($), but made it easy and convenient to get the right vehicle in this case a Honda pilot trail sport Quick and easy. Like to shout out to Sammy and Omar for making my dream come true. All of you Honda buyers out there don t go to any dealerships only Marin Honda they will take care of you and will not cheat you.Any future vehicles I will only go to Marin Honda, honest, convenient, friendly environment, family.Thank you again Sammy and Omar will see you again soon for future purchases

Today s shopping experience with Honda Marin was truly above and beyond. 10/10!!! The team, led by Ron Edwards and supported by Jack Bunch and his associate in training, Hong, took such excellent care of me and far exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful for their incredible customer service, kindness and professionalism. I was picked up at my home, and was out the door in my new car in under two hours. You can tell a positive culture at the store starts from the top and is felt by all who work there.I drove an hour to get the car I wanted and now I would do it again just for the culture/service, even if a similar car was closer.This store is run by a great crew and it feels like doing business with a small family as opposed to a huge corporation.Small town touch but with big town deals.Daniel, my sales person, and Gary, my finance manager, were very helpful. They worked with me and made everything easy to apply online. In and out in a little over a hour.

I am always satisfied with Steve Ong in Marin Honda's service department. He takes the necessary time to explain what services are needed on the current visit and why, as well as what types of service will be needed down the line and when. Had an excellent repair experience, with a helpful and understanding service advisor (Michael Weinstein). Have been servicing this car at Marin Honda, for the most part, since it was purchased there in 2003. Over the years, my only concern has been cost versus independent shops. The work has always been top notch.

The staff were great and they did exactly what I needed them to do. Dave the truck for me for a week until I got up there from LA area. The management were nice enough to refund me the Lyft charge from the airport. The only thing is that I wish the salesman would have been honest with me the entire time about the interest rate. The first rate was quoted to me from excellent credit. It just kept on getting worse from there. When I did show up at the dealership the staff were very nice and helpful, although they didn t ask for some paperwork that was needed by the bank earlier. We got it all worked out with their help and I drove the vehicle home.

While Honda service is great, they start with a great product. Having just taken my car in for preventative service after 75k miles, I am stunned by the fees charged. Parts seem reasonable enough, but the labor charge was $580, though my car was in and out in 2 hours. Even with 2 technicians working on it the entire time, we are talking a labor charge of $145/hr!!! This seems utterly ridiculous. They could argue that it pays for the guy at the front desk, and for the guy who brought my car around, but if that happened in the two hours, it actually means they charged more per hour, since that was one person! This is just too much. I m going to have to shop around for realistic labor fees.

I came in to get an oil change for my car. The customer service that was provided by Rolly was top tier. He kept me informed about throughout the entire ordeal. He even threw in a complimentary car wash. I am happy with the services provided. Honestly, Honda Marin is the best Honda that I have ever been to. I rate them 10/10 and highly recommend them to everyone.

Dealing with dealerships can be a challenge especially when you are buying multiple vehicles. Since day one, Jim and the team at Honda of Marin have provided phenomenal service to me and the company I'm employed with which has made the process of buying new cars very smooth and problem free. I would also like to recognize David/Associate at Honda of Marin. He is one of the most professional, courteous and helpful representatives that I have met in the industry. I wish there were more individuals like David in that line of work. If you ever need to buy a Honda, you will never go wrong with buying through Honda of Marin. We had great experience purchasing a new vehicle. As it s never a pleasurable experience dealing with salespeople in dealerships. This was a nice experience and i feel like we where fairly treated and our negotiations worked out for both sides. David snd Sonny where a pleasure to work with. This is our second time buying from Marin Honda and would highly recommend them and Honda vehicles!
