These guys are AWESOME!!!! So friendly and quick, did all the visual and computer stuff within 10 min of giving them my keys. They were clean, courteous, and conveyed the process well.

Their pricing is outrageous. Their service is less than stellar. I took a 1991 Porsche in for a smog test. I was told that it needed special calibration and because of these factors my cost would be $98. I declined and went down the street to Marina Smog Test and got the same service for $65. I would not recommend at all..

Service was fast, efficient and thorough. The pass smog check was sent directly to DMV electronically. I paid $65 for 2021 hyundai. I highly recommend this place.

The gentleman was great. Did the smog check quick and even told me I had to get a new part for my engine. For a 2010 acura I paid $65

Well it seems they like to line their own Pockets with your money that's right they don't care about getting your car Smog all they care about is your money and how they can get it. you see my car passed a functional test but he decides to fail it on a visual so he can make the $25 retest fee that's right yeah there was a small crack in the air intake boot but not big enough to make it not passthe functional test and make it fail he could have told me that it was there and I could have fixed it sometime within the next year. but no he decided to fail it so he can make the 25 bucks you see the the $56 he charged me wasn't enough retest is $25 he wanted 89instead of 65 there's an $8 certificate fee

More expensive than a few blocks away where they do $39.99 and free retest if you do not pass. Wish I had known about the other place before coming here as the completion is free retest and here is $25 and $65 minus $10 dollar coupon. I will end up paying almost double if I had gone a few blocks away.

Fast, efficient, friendly. Their drive in and out shop works well. I used to go there about 10 years ago for smog checks, and returned recently to the same pleasant experience. Convenient location, easily seen on Gaffey, and operating hours that accommodate most schedules.

So fast and quick! We take all our cars there! I like that they are open until 6pm even on a Friday, the smog took less then 30 min. Best & Easiest smog every time!!

No consideration for people's time. Was there for 5 minutes with no help. A newer car pulls up within 30 seconds he gets helped. Just ridiculous how he didn't even have the guts to look my way to say I'll be right with you or anything. I do not recomend this unless you have a 2020 or 2021 car. You will not be helped

They are fast and courteous. I can always depend on them to get me out asap. I think it took less that 15 minutes to get my smog completed.

If you've had a bad experience here that's a personal issue and not the fault of the staff here. Everyone that works at SmogFather is kind and helpful and so efficient. If I ever have to go anywhere else for a smog I would sooner not drive anymore lol

They charged me full price for a pre-check which is a total rip-off. Do not take you vehicle there especially if you had your vehicle serviced prior to going there. Reputable smog shops don t charge for the pre-check. They just tell you to put some miles on your car and bring it back.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Great customer service! Was clean and informed well of the whole process. That was a great and efficient service. Extremely fast, it took me 10 minutes of wait and processing. No complain at all. Recommend everyone to get there car smoged at Smog Father

Omar performed a smog check on my vehicle and the service was superb. The price point was right,the facility was clean, making the short wait a pleasure. He even provided cold bottled water while I waited. What took the cake is when he offered to buff the headlights on my vehicle at NO COST! I'll definitely return and tell my family and friends Don't sleep on this company. You must go. You'll thank me later. Thanks Omar for your exceptional service.

I had a great experience today Saturday. I was specting long l�ne, wait a long time in this horrible summer heat, but to my surprice nooo, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Great service and very polite. Five Stars!!!!!

The owner, Peter, is not a very nice man. When you first see him you might think "Mr Miyagi." Once he speaks you think "SATAN!"I did not pass because of a glitch. Apparently some computer codes had been cleared by my mechanic and the system needs to reset by driving. They said "Go drive your car for 100 miles or so and come back." I asked the guy if I needed to pay again and he grinned and said, "Oh, yeah."I said I thought it was unreasonable and asked for the owner. He came over and said, "One smog check, you pay! Two smog check, you pay! Three, four, five smog check, you pay each one."At this point I was taken aback because he was so freaking rude and I said I didn't that was very good customer service. His response was, "I no need customer service. Every day people need smog check. They have to come. Now you get the f**k out of my property." Gesturing to the other tech he said, "Take his keys. Make sure he pay!"I paid and got the HELL out of there!This guy is an A**HOLE! I find the good reviews here a bit hard to believe. In my opinion--DON'T GO HERE!

Went in the year prior and passed with no issues. Took the same car in and failed! I was told that mechanic like to break things in the engine and not tell us. (Something about tape in the engine) it was 69 dollars. I asked if there was a discount or anything because I failed. (Free retest?) "Why should you get a discount? I did my job. You failed!" Needless to say, I left, went elsewhere and passed for 30 dollars less. The new place also offered free retest if I fail. He also didn't close my hood all the way. Good thing I leaned on it before I got on the freeway! Go anywhere but this place!

I showed up the first day I was learning to drive a stick. ( I know it's embarrassing at 37) the gentleman on duty noticed my nervousness and offered to drive my car into the bay for me. He didn't clown me at all and was super friendly and professional. My car was smogged quickly and I will for sure be back here the next time I need to get a vehicle smogged.
