Sherwin and Edward were the best showed up and they took care of me, very trustworthy place. They knew exactly what oil my car needed upon arrival. Amazing place with an amazing crew 11/10 would recommend.

Today I came in to Jiffy Lube because my brake pedal was acting up and I knew something was wrong. I was driving and suddenly I could press my brake to the floor with minimal reaction from my car. I came in, told them what happened, and they began to inspect my car. After inspecting my vehicle they came to tell me that my two front brake pads were low at 4 mm and needed replacing along with all of my rotors needing to be replaced. I told them I had just had all of my brake pads replaced a little less than a year ago and that my issue for coming in wasn t that my brakes were squeaking it was that my pedal went to the floor. They seemed confused and went back to check on the right area of the car. After they came back I was told they found an issue with the Master Cylinder and they wanted me to go to an auto shop to have diagnostics done. Good thing I left because after going down the street to Firestone, after having all the tests done on my brakes they told me that all of my brake pads were sitting at 8mm and my rotors all looked good. Jiffy Lube wanted $450 out of me for something that wasn t even an issue. I m giving two stars because luckily I didn t pay for something that wasn t even wrong with my car. Don t come here unless you want to be taken advantage of.

I was originally going to knock this down a star only based on the prices....but the service was SO fast, and every single employee there was incredibly polite, friendly, and genuine that they alone deserve 5 stars.I came here from a recommendation from the shop I usually go to. (My regular shop was booked for the day, and I needed a quick oil change before a week long road trip) I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I was a little sticker-shocked at the price of an oil change (starts at $49 and goes up depending on the type of oil you pick), but the kind employee ringing me up found a discount to knock $10 off. A+ service

Coming in for an oil change where I supplied my own oil and filter and paid for the labour. Very friendly crew and they were quick and professional.

I went there to get an oil change, and ended up getting an air intake hose replacement. It was an extra cost, but it was worth it,and on top of that, it didn't cost too much at all,along with getting my original oil change as planned. So at the end of the day, it was all good for the most part.

They changed my car brake charging me over $1k. After the repair the brakes got even worse and have a sneaking noise any time I brake. I brought the car back 3 times and they could not fix it.They literally DON T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and they charge more than anywhere in the town

I just wish the cost of labor for the oil change was less... Honestly, for bringing my own oil and filter & $52 almost $53 is a lot of money for a quick simple job with an oil pit...

2 stars for 2 reasons.1st TIME= 2hr 27 mins2nd LABOR= These guys charged me LABOR for changing the oil ($35.39), changing the brake fluid ($106.99), rotating the tires ($24.99), inspecting the breaks ($23.99) and then changing the breaks (215.91) Total = $407.27 in LABOR (Parts $431.58) $869.37 after tax.Went in for oil change and fluid service. After the inspection they said the rear drum brakes needed to be changed so I said ok. I would have declined if I had known it was going to take close to 3 ACTUAL hours. I assumed the time frame they gave me was a rough estimate and not exact. I've changed my own breaks before and it took 1 hr tops. I agreed today because it would be convenient. There were at least 4 TECHS present at all times and they have only 3 ports to service vehicles in. Mathematically speaking that's 2 TECHS at 1 port and 1 each at the other 2. But every time I checked on my car after taking a Long Lunch next door. It was up on the lift, wheels off and no one in sight. No one actually touched my car as far as I could tell till I stepped out and asked to pay the bill. As an Appliance Repair Technician myself working on Home Appliances with at minimum 120VAC-240VAC flowing through them ( ). I understand taking time to make sure the job is done right. But I have never charged any customer LABOR that was more than 1/2 the price of the parts. I'm the nice guy who charges a $75 flat rate regardless of how long it takes me to do the job. I just assume I'll be done in less than 1 hr per repair because it's my profession and that's the standard I hold myself accountable to. Also I'm self employed so I don't get paid by how much TIME I spend on the job. But rather by the job being complete or not. IF NOT I go back however many times it takes to complete the task. LABOR AND SERVICE FEE were already collected the 1st time so the customer only pays the cost of parts. I feel it's immoral to charge the customer a fee for pulling the refrigerator out, another for working on it, and a final fee for putting it back in place. Come here at your own peril. I do not recommend getting your car serviced here and if all Jiffy Lubes are like this then I wouldn't recommend any of them either. Do it yourself or find a family owned shop that'll be fair and honest to work with rather than a corporation willing to nickel and dime the community they claim to service.

I took my 2012 Honda accord to get a oil change turned out I had more problems, not only did they do my oil change fast and at reasonable price, but also recommended me to get these other problems fixed. They weren t pushy or annoying the way they came on felt as if they were looking out for me instead of trying to sell more. I was out of town with a rental car and the warning light for my tire pressure came on. So, we went to this location which was fairly close to where we were staying. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They made sure the tire pressure was back to normal and courteously got us back on the road at no charge. Thanks, Jiffy Lube!Service: TiresService: Tires

The whole experience took no more than 20 min. The staff was friendly & efficient & didn t try to sell me things I didn t need. It was $72 with a coupon, so a bit more than I was expecting, but it also was very quick. Well Done, Jiffy Lube.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I was there for maybe 10 minutes total. The service was so fast and done well! They checked my other fluid levels and filters and provided me with quotes for these additional services. However, I didn t feel pressured to buy any services I didn t feel comfortable doing. I also came in with a low tire pressure light on and they filled my tire so I didn t have to do it when I got home! Everyone was so nice as well! Will definitely be coming back for further services.Service: Oil change

First of all, I want to say that I absolutely adored the team and loved their customer service! I arrived worried about my car and left with a big smile on my face.My car had an issue that had been worrying me for the past few days. After looking up nearby places for me to get service done to my car, I found Jiffy Lube, Kearny Mesa online. A short phone call ensued letting me know that they were available to take my car in right at that moment, and I scurried on over!The team was incredibly receptive, knowledgeable, and personable. I was greeted by smiles, the car was quickly taken in, I was offered a nice place to rest with plenty of nearby restaurants nearby-- I trusted that my car was in good hands. They even helped me with putting on license plate covers I had just bought from the store next door!I love these guys, and kudos to everyone there. The location is convenient, the work was reliable and swift, and the staff are so kind and so friendly.I would highly recommend going to this place-- I absolutely trust the knowledge of all there, they were so communicative, the nearby area is convenient, and the prices were reasonable.10/10, would recommend!Service: Air conditioning

They were professional and kind. They explained everything wrong with my code and told me what was and wasn t necessary in the present. I misunderstood something at first and ask them to not clear a code, then they explained why clearing it could help me diagnose further, as if the light comes on again it s likely my spark plugs, and not just momentary moisture. Much love for going back and clearing it after I asked the opposite on accident.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They are friendly, helpful, tell me what I need to fix next, and there is an online coupon I can use when I change my oil. I can come in and get my fluids topped off, air in my tire checked, and they can replace window wipers and air filters.

Came here for the good reviews, we called ahead of time to get the alternator changed on my car, they were nice and said to come by, as soon as my husband pulled up the car died but turned back on (we ve had it tested at several places and everyone said it s the alternator causing the issue) the employee at jiffy lube refused service, wouldn t even look at the car. I guess he s lazy and didn t feel like working???? Get a different job if you don t want to work on vehicles. honestly if i had his name i d include it in the review so anyone could avoid getting service from him. come here if you want to waste your time! :)

Very fast and efficient. I drove right in and they were clear about the price and what they would do. The waiting room has a bathroom, or you can just stay in the car.
