Star Tune does MIRACLES with a car! Best service in Salinas... I had a problem with my Tesla on my way back home and Jose didn't hesitate to help right away and I was ready to go on the road right away. THANKS A MILLIONS

A must place to visit if you are ever in need of repairs to your vehicle. I really enjoy the honest quotes that are very reasonable in this economy. And it gets us back on the road for success. Tell Jose that Marty referred you to them. They do Diagnostics/ Inspection of vehicle, oil changes, brakes, alignments, tune-ups, radiators, alternators, batteries, wind wipers, rebuilt motors etc. Thank you Jose, making time for me today services on the Camary on 02/17/2023 8:05 a.m. Friday. The diagnostic/inspection. Engine light was on dashboard. Oil change with filter. Replacement of front brake pads & rotors.

Oh my God I can't say enough about Yoshi, other than he rocks. I had a breakdown 150 miles away from home not only did he fix my vehicle the same day and, I was amazed at how cheaply he made the repair. Outstanding value, and great customer service. I would not hesitate to return to his shop.

This is where my bf and I take our cars when they need repairs. Yoshi and Jose have always done a great job and charged us fair prices. Trish in the office is really helpful as well. Highly recommended.

I'm completely satisfied with the service. Special thanks to Ernie for his flexibility. Not only he changed engine oil in my Nissan Sentra, but also checked and refilled necessary fluids, and all for reasonable price.

My whole famiky has come here for years and loved it , but since the original owner retired. Not what it c used to be. Cheap oil save filter change though. It was difficult to get a hold of my mechanic but that may have been partly due to technical issues on my behalf but I know for sure there were some problems on his end.

Took a 2000 Jeep in due to AC not blowing cold. Took all day for them to tell me that they needed to order a high pressure valve. This was a thursday, no part til saturday. Took it back on Monday, and when I dropped it off, I asked if they could finish by noon, as I needed it. Got a call at 1:15 that they needed to order another part, would be another day. I get it if you need to order parts, but I don't need to pay a mechanic to piece meal a service or repair. Never again.

they told me to come at 7:30am my car was making wierd noise. But I was not having any problem with the alternator. They Did not offer me a ride home so I called a taxi. By 9:30 the taxi still hadn't arrived and my car still hadn't been touched. Finally got home around 10:30.No one called me all day even though they are not open on the weekend. No one gave me any estimate.I finally called but they were closed. Sat morning I decided to go there just to see if my car was locked inside and safe. Nope, it was parked on the street. Started it up and it was still making noise. Went back Monday they said car was finished. The bill, 518.00 for alternator I didn't need and replace serpintine belt that I already had..and its. still making noise. I'm on Social Security, that money was most of my income for the month. They told me that there was a dead circut in my Alternator but I was having no problem with that at all. I had a spare serpentine belt I ask them to put on instead of the old one. They charged me 63.00. Additional to the labor charge they would have to put one or the other back on anyway. 9.00 for a fuse with no explanation.I read the other reviews and thought this might be my new place for all my service needs. I'm sorry but I just don't believe I was treated fairly and I will keep looking.
