Had my truck in for transmission replacement on the new 10R140 transmission which isn't as good as the 6R140 it replaced. But service at this dealership was top notch. The truck was quoted as taking about two weeks to finish but they had it ready for pickup in about five days. My service advisor was Sandy and she was very professional and had the greatest customer service I've had in a while.

Bought a Lincoln a couple years ago there, it turns out is no longer a Lincoln and went to drop off my car for service and in the past and as part of buying a Lincoln they are supposed to give you a loaner car while yours get serviced. Basically because they are not longer a Lincoln they said they didn't have to give me a loaner and there was none available any way. After a short conversation and me expressing my disappointment they said they could take my name and give a call when a loaner becomes available. They have never call me and seriously doubt they put my name on any waiting list. The ladies at the service department were not trying to help at all and you can tell they are unhappy just by looking at their sour faces. Will not be coming back to service my car and looking at returning it when lease is over. Update: switched to Lincoln dealership in San Jose and they are great there, worth the drive. Very nice people in the service department, highly recommend you go to the dealership in San Jose.

We purchased our truck in June of 2020; simplest and quickest vehicle purchase we have every made. The Service Department has been fantastic and we appreciate the care Salinas Valley Ford extends to our truck. Our truck has over 55,000 miles and we have not yet had the truck 3 years!

I had a great experience with Salinas Valley Ford. Iris helped us understand every part of our new vehicle with so much patience. The young lady who helped us in finance was great also. It was a fast process but very well explained. I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to Salinas Valley Ford.

I had the best experience buying my vehicle from Salinas Valley Ford. I bought a 2021 Ford Bronco, my sales rep was Bob. He was a pleasure to deal with and worked with me for several hours to get me an awesome trade value for my car and an awesome price for the Bronco. He was very knowledgeable and personable and is very easygoing & happy-go-lucky.I also had the pleasure of working with Kyle, and just like Bob he was eager to help, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help out.A special shout-out also to Katie and Rudy.Would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from Salinas Valley Ford.

Get service department promises in writing Before leaving your vehicle. Double check that they actually have the oil on hand before you let them do an oil change.

The service department is first-rate and they know Ford EVs. They washed my car and charged it up. They could use a Level 3 fast charger, but otherwise their service was terrific. I'll happily take my other Fords there, including my EVs.

Went in to purchase some car parts and a key fob (remote for doors and trunk). For the car parts they were nice and courteous and helped me find the parts I need and also showed me what some parts looked like that I wanted to replace but didn't know what they looked like. However when it came to the key fob a person made an attempt to help me for 5 minutes and after said 5 minutes he walked away to consult with a few others and made it appear to be a big deal as to why he could not program they key fob after trying for another 5 minutes. He then said there was an issue with my car and that they would need to service it. I asked the rate to which he replied "we charge $70 dollars every thirty minutes". which is outrageous to charge for programming a simple key fob. Anyway I walked away disappointed especially because, when I tried to program the fob it took only a single try. Because this place had such great difficulty programming a simple key fob (and blamed the fault on my car) I will never be taking my vehicle to be serviced by this location ever. And I suggest you don't either.Two stars for the honest parts department. And that's it. And as for that service department they should hire people that know what they are doing cause I am not gonna pay for people to waste my time.

Wow. This is one of the best dealerships I ve been to in several years. I ve leased or purchased 5 vehicles and this was by far the best experience ever.From our salesperson, Christina. To inventory mgr mark to finance and delivery. Everything was perfectIt s great to know that a place like this still exists.I cannot day enough great things a VM our this dealership and its people

This is a family owned dealership and they truly make you feel at home from the time you step in. I like their honesty and how they will not compromise their integrity to make a deal. We were hard sold into buying a car we clearly could not afford. They asked for no pay stubs had us sign things quickly with out reading because the sales guys was in hurry to get back to the guy on the phone making the deal. All said and done our $33,000 car will cost us $68,000 with interest. And $840. a month.

Even though I experienced major vehicle delays, which were not the fault of the dealership, I had an overall good experience and would recommend this dealership. Good follow up from the dealer ship and a consistent point of contact. Very friendly and helpful.

I would like to say what a wonderful experience coming to Salinas Valley Ford.Dropped my truck off for a recall to recalibrate the NOX sensors from the time I called to make the appointment to dropping it off to picking the truck up was a very delightful and pleasant experience.Thank you Sandie Silva and the Mechanics for a great experience to be treated in a quick & professional manner.I took my truck to Val Stroughs cypress coast ford to have the same recall performed and they kept my truck for 4 days and Saturday & Sunday and couldn t complete a simple recall, which SVF did in about an hours time.SALINAS VALLEY FORD.. YOU ARE THE VALLEY!Thank you

I ve been a long time client/customer of Salinas Valley Ford. I ve never had issues with staying in communication with service departments, sales/finance, or anyone I try to get a hold of. Excellent customer service. They tell you what you need to hear when it comes to purchasing a vehicle, leading it to being more comfortable to purchase. As always, keep up the good work SVF!

Just purchased a new truck from Salinas valley ford, Sales was not pushy in anyway. Our deal was done smooth and not in any shady car salesmen ways. Everything was upfront and honest. I had ordered a 22 Lightning and there was no ADM, no Dealer added Fees. Straight honest shooters here.

Terrible experience. My sales rep (Bob Hoehlein) was only interested in getting the paperwork complete and me out the door. He didn't take any time to accurately answer any of my questions. As a result, I ended up having to pay registration in both CA and my home state of LA even though I told him I didn't reside in CA.

We run a small business in Santa Cruz - Buddy Griggs Plumbing. We highly recommend Salinas Valley Ford. Why? First let s talk customer service. Even though we are small they always make us feel like a special client. Their communication and follow up is excellent. We never feel forgotten.Next let s talk about service. Their technicians are awesome!!!! Solved a shaking issue in our 2012 F250 that other dealer shops couldn t. They are very efficient with the smaller, wait in the lobby services also.Bottom line Salinas Valley Ford is worth traveling from Santa Cruz.

We took our 2016 Ford Flex because multiple issues with our SYNC3 infotainment system.We're told that we need to pay $200 just to get it checked. They also said that likely the system needed an update.We agreed since we figured the system probably needed that update and the dealership was the place to do it.We came back later that day to pick the vehicle up and we're told that the update had worked and that they were also recommending a new battery due to some acid leak. They also said that if the system upgrade didn't solve the problem and we have future issues we needed to likely replace the APIM module for another $1,600. We declined the battery since it hadn't been long since I replaced it.We didn't drive not even 10 minutes when the system started to fail now even worse.We called them back and we're told our advisor, Ms. Lovecchio was going to call us back. Until this day we are waiting for her call.I decided to take it upon myself and found a APIM for my vehicle. Got one for a fourth of the price the quoted me.When I went to disconnect the battery and start the process of replacing my old APIM. I realized that one of the acid lids was loose hence the leak they reported. It only needed to be tightened up. It didn't need a new battery.I finished replacing my old APIM with an upgraded SYNC3.4, the latest version. The interface was slightly different and I then realized the dealership never updated my old APIM, it always ran the SYNC3.0. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO WHAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR.I'm very disappointed of this experience. They took my $200 dollars for absolutely nothing, heck the cover where the plug the scanner was still off. They did nothing other than come and probably just check codes.Where is the fiduciary duty to protect the FORD customer?I'll be calling directly to corporate and report this situation because this is not fair. I can only imagine what they do to other customers. A complete ripoff. AVOID.
