Got my truck lowered, everything came out good , great costumer service , highly recommend getting work done by this shop, Tony & David , provided great feedback to all my questions. Highly recommend getting work broke by them.

Had our Nitro Regear and Eaton E lockers installed. David and Tony were both very attentive and helped us followed up with the suppliers when we needed extra parts. Made the process much easier and stress free. Price for the parts and labor very competitive compared to others shops where we got an estimate.

i brought in my lexus gx470 to get re geared with 4.88 gear ratio since it was lifted 2 and on 37 tires thats they re geared and we incleded the eaton e locker front and back differentials and im very happy with their work professinally

Needed a Differential repair on my Jeep, cost was in my budget and the interest free financing was great! This was the only differential repair shop I found in the area, every other shop wanted to sell me a whole differential assembly but I wanted a rebuild. I am happy now that I can use my 4x4 again. Put a stage 2 transmission, upgraded heavy duty transmission cooler, Detroit truetrac differential, single disk billet torque converter and I ve brought 2 other vehicles and they have good prices on lift kits, it s a one stop shop for everything I need

I needed to have 4x4 front and rear differential gear ratio returned to stock on my f250. Since my original go to differential shop went out of business had to find a new one that would do the work. called around and could not believe that some local 4x4 shops would not do any more than bolt on lift kits. But when I called Tony at Salinas Differential he seemed very confident in doing the job. So gave them a try. Took a few days to complete the job then did the initial gearing break in for a couple more days. Next I drove the truck from Salinas to Lake Tahoe and back with no problems. Tony and crew did a good job and I even got a guarantee on the work done. Will recommend them to whom ever needs differential work.

When I got here they greeted me and Tony helped me straight away they checked my truck and gave me a quote right away, they ve repaired my vehicle quick , I highly recommended them for any kind of work from transmission to differentials any kind of work

Brought in my 2nd truck here and the reason why is that I do not trust other shops in the area when it comes to my differential. I now easily drive over hills I struggled with before they regeared it for me.

Tony and his crew were incredible! I was traveling through and the differential went out on my truck. Other shops in the area were outrageously expensive or just flat out wouldn t work on it. Tony gave me a very reasonable estimate and had the work done before promised at the price he quoted. I had him do some extra work while he had the vehicle and that work was done in the same time frame. He made sure I had everything I needed to get back in the road. I owned a chain of auto repair shops for many years, so I know how hard it is to run a great shop. This crew is great! Wholeheartedly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Monterey transmission has an awesome customer service! I took my truck in for transmission repair and for a differential. So far it has been running great has made it to Arizona and back with no issue! Had my 3rd Gen Tacoma regeared 5.29 and lockers installed. Glad to find a local shop with hardworking guys. I ordered wrong parts and they had no problem notifying me and keeping my truck inside when they were closed. Gears and lockers work like a charm. Thanks guys.
