Our camper trailer had a catastrophic tire failure (brake pad sitting on concrete) while we were in transit near Salinas, and we had the good luck to find Otis Gleason and his team. I was fully expecting a week long repair which would have ended our vacation and resulted in a 20 hour roundtrip to pick it up later. But Otis and his amazing team immediately went into action, running to the part store to get the necessary parts before they closed for the evening and then they stayed to get it fixed that very night. It was the most incredible display of going the extra mile to help a customer that I ve personally experienced. The bill was also extremely reasonable. My family and I couldn t be more appreciative. Thank you Otis Gleason RV!!

This picture was taken after I returned to camp. Trust works both ways, and here it pays off! First time flat tower and they made sure I knew what I was doing before I left. Thanks Folks from this Happy Camper

Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Gleasons Salinas RV. The repair shop was excellent! Not only did we arrive 1 hour early for our appointment, but the repair man was able to stop the job he was on and take a look at this RV within minutes of us arriving. He also fixed the problem in 5 minutes! We are in a rental but would have been happy to pay the bill for instant service! Salinas RV was excellent and I highly recommend them!

These folks are awesome ! We had to have our trailer fixed quickly as we were leaving town and it had some unexpected issues. They fit my trailer into there work load and got us fixed in plenty of time for us to leave on time.The service was impeccable, courtesy and helpfulness was in great supply.If ever you need work on your RV call Gleason RV.Simply the Best Ever !!!!Service: Electrical

I had the Hydralift installed and they did an outstanding job. They custom made brackets to bolt it to the coach so it can easily be removed and installed on another RV. They even went as far as painting the brackets used in the engine compartment to hold the hydraulic the same Cummings red color so it looks factory installed.Otis, the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Stranded in Salinas with a bad RV engine starter. Gleasons took our call for help and took us right in assessed the problem and Otis drove to pick up a new starter his 2 mechanics got busy and has us On The Road Again in 2 hours. We were so grateful and we were on a road trip up to Canada. Thanks for caring in this busy 4th of July weekend.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Otis treated us great and helped us out big time when we were in a jam. He went above and beyond in great service in getting us in and replacing our Class A RV's starter. He is honest and tells you like it is. Reminds me of great old school garage shops that do honest and quality work. We were traveling up the California coast in our RV, our RV was having intermittent starter issues. We were a few thousand miles from home. Otis and Angle are the best, they got us in the next morning at 9 am, they got us a new heavy duty starter and had it installed in under 2 hours. Five Stars Otis, it was good meeting you. Thank you so much for helping us out. A Great American business. I trust and recommend Gleason's Salinas RV. Good honest service at a fair price.

1000% approval rate here! We came into town with brakes metal on metal... we knew no one in this town and we needed help! I called them and told them what we were experiencing and they allowed us to bring our Motorhome right over! They were quick to get us in the shop... assessing the issue and what we needed to get back on the road... they cared for us like we were their only customer... and yet the shop is filled and people coming in ... how lucky we were! They were up front, showed us what happened and even left to go get the correct parts... while we waited! They did not price gouge us and when we left... we have better brakes than we ve ever had! These guys are absolutely the BEST!Service: Brakes

Otis and his guys came to the rescue, we were traveling through the area on a hiking adventure when we had an issue which brought us here. After doing a basic oil change we discovered a mismounted sway bar, they fabricated the necessary parts, figured out that the sway bar caused damage to my suspension and one tire. They stayed late after closing, and came in early the next morning so that we could get back on the road. I couldn't recommend these guys enough. Screw camping world when there are places like this. We feared the worst, when they came through with the needed support.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

They had in stock the exact replacement for my 2003 RV'S fresh water pump. Friendly advice and no waiting. I hope I'll never need them again for parts or repairs, but knowing that everything eventually breaks, I probably will need something, and Gleason's is the place I'll go.

Stunning repair and fabrication work at great prices. I happily drive hundreds of miles to have Otis and his crew work on my rig. They explain everything in great detail.Truly one of a kind shop.

This place is awesome ,it s been opened since 1988 so that says something,,lots of parts and very knowledgeable staff and very friendly ,,,easy access on/off to freeway

Friendly and knowledge staff. Had my trailer fixed the next day. Fair prices too. I would highly recommend them. As a matter of fact, I'm going to need a new battery and will be going back soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had one water pump for my RV and they held it for me to pick up. Said as long as I did not connect it I could return it as the the parts manager gave me a couple of ideas to make sure it was the pump and not another problem. Thanks to the owner and Juan the parts manager. Great service, thanks. Chris

I have nothing good to say about this place!! Otis the owner has horrible costumer service and is a dishonest business man as well. We choose this place randomly off the internet because of location closest to us. I do regret it and wish that I had got a personal recommendation before we gave this place our business. He had our RV for 4 months, and every time I called to inquire about it's status Otis spoke to me with tension and hostility, as if asking about my vehicle was a terrible inconvenience. He claimed he fixed 5 things, but in actuality he fixed only 2, but charged us for all of them. When we pulled out of there on our annual vacation we only drove 50 miles before the RV broke down on the side of the road with problems with the very carborator he said he fixed. We had to dish out another $600 to have it refixed after just paying over $6000 to Gleasons. When we asked him to honor the warrantee on the work he did, and pay this $600 he broke into a fit of rage. Yelling and screaming and absoulutely refusing to back up his work and the warrantee he puts in big print on the receipt. Poor work, Dishonest, and took 4 months!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

The worst customer service I have ever had. They do not care about the customer nor repeat business. If there is ever an issue with there work they don't care enough to fix the problem nor help. I WAS a repeat customer and when it was simple things that were done with no issues it was ok service and it was local. Once an item was a warrantee issue and it was out of there pocket the true customer service shinned. Tried to make me feel like it was my problem and he was put out to even deal with the issues. Also don't trust him when he spout his days in the race car market and how he can fix your motorhome...waste of money. I will never take my RV there again.

the people there seemed kinda shady. i was looking for products, they had some things in stock but the shelves were practically empty. to be honest, i had a feeling they would have bad reviews and sure enough i read a couple already. they seem like theyre just in the business for the money and dont really care about the customers and they struck me as ppl who wouldnt hesitate to take advantage of ppl who dont really know about rv's. they seem over priced for the type of customer service/rv service they provide. wouldnt go back

I needed to replace a quick release pin on a BrakeMaster system on my toad. I found what I needed in short order, at a reasonable cost and technical advice to boot. Very good experience.

Awesome place to shop for rv replacement parts. Kelly is very professional and knowledgeable. If She doesn t have an answer to your question, She knows someone that does! Does not offer smog services for rv.
