Don t trust the guy with your money or your RV. Last winter, I paid him $7000 to seal up leaks around our windows on our airstream, and to replace the subfloor and flooring that had rotted as a result of the leaks. This winter when the rain started, the leaks reappeared. I climbed up on the RV and found that there was no evidence that he had ever sealed and re-calked around the windows. Shocking! He also replaced two fantastic fans, both of which did not work after he completed the installation. It took him almost 4 months to repair them, and one still does not work correctly. The flap only opens halfway.

An electric slideout motor on my Class A motorhome had failed and needed to be replaced. I talked to Uriel Chavez and we setup an appointment. He and his son, Miguel, arrived and promptly confirmed the problem and replaced the failed motor with a new one I provided. Uriel provided fast, courteous work and the job was complete in a short time. I would recommend Chavez RV and will certainly use them again. Thanks Uriel!

Uriel was fantastic, and I can honestly recommend him. He responded quickly and really worked to find a solution and get me back on the road again. It was obvious he knew what he was doing. I broke a mirror on my class A, ordered the part, and he was wonderful on the installation. I have a high-end coach that I don't let many people work on, but I'd allow him to fix anything. Good guy, good service.

Jaun came out to fix a broken grey water tank dump valve. Had it done in about 45 mins an works better then before.Trust worthy and great work.Will definitely keep callin if my trailer continues to act up.

We had to have a part replaced that operated our slideouts. Uriel ordered the part and we scheduled a day to drive 2 hrs. to allow him to replace the part. He is very knowledgeable about maintaining RV's and his prices are fair. My husband and I liked him when we first met him. He shows up on time. He answers every question and will allow you to see his work.Day of repair, I spent the morning observing the activities at his business. I determined Uriel was just a very pleasant, fun guy as he met his customers. I could tell from the conversations that Uriel and his customers had known each other for a very long time.Chavez RV was recommended to us by our RV park in Greenfield, CA, Yank's RV, and we love spending relaxing time with the Yank's.We hope that if you're needing RV service, consider Uriel Chavez. He will be our go to guy for help with our RV.

Seconds after opening the side panel it became clear that Uriel knew exactly what he was looking at. He got our 23 year old Domestic fridge working again!He had control boards and other parts to help troubleshoot. Eventually discovering carbon build up on our flame sensor as the problem.We went to his place in Salinas. Do not be put off by the locale. He knows his stuff!Thank you Uriel for saving our bacon. Literally!

My husband, daughters and I have been on a road trip for over a month now and we all of a sudden had an issue with a slideout on our RV on the morning we were leaving Monterey. We called a few mobile RV repair places, so were not in service, some were overbooked due to the times and COVID. We called and talked to the owner of Chavez RV and he was super helpful and made an appointment to see us the next day. He did everything he could, until we figured we had to remove the slide to go any further with the repair. He helped us find a temporary fix so that we could continue our trip and for that we are super thankful! He was very helpful, attentive to our needs and understanding. Most of all he was very accommodating. Customer service is outstanding!

Uriel you are the man. You were recommended to us by 2 people. We live on our motorhome and we have had trouble with our gas line for stove. Uriel talked my husband through what he could try doing before he come out. It worked. Great job. I never give 5 stars. Everyone can use improvement. Thanks so much Uriel.

I needed an air conditioner installed in my RV as the old one quit working. Uriel Chavez showed up on time, and with the help of his assistant, installed the AC in less time than he originally told me. It was a very professional job and I will be hiring him again for other work I need done on my RV.I am editing my review because I had a horrible experience with this guy after installation of my air conditioner. The shower in my RV began to leak because the plastic liner cracked. It is an older RV and I could not find any place that still made them .I am going to keep this as short as possible while still trying to describe the nightmare I was put through for a year without a functioning shower. I made the worst mistake a customer can and that was paying him $1200 upfront. I trusted him and got the royal runaround for a year. I got all kinds of excuses when I called until I finally reached my limit the night before he was to come "finish" the job". He took offense at the way I talked to him and quit the job. I don't believe he ever ordered the parts he told me he did as he never produced receipts or the parts needed to make the repairs. He did not insist payment for materials because he never had them. He had my $1200 for over a year and did nothing. I did get my money refunded but not easily. Beware of using this business especially if you are a single female.

I arrived in Montery, California on a Sunday afternoon. My 5th Wheel Toy hauler had broken shackles, bent leaf springs, twisted and bent hangers, damage to many welds, and damage and bent frame. Mr. Chavez was the only company to answer my desperate calls as I was now stranded in the local RV park 500 miles from home. Mr. Chavez returned my phone call that very evening and made arrangements to complete a service call to the RV park the following Monday morning. Mr. Chavez followed through arrived at the park and made temporary repairs to make the RV ready to travel to his shop. Mr. Chavez made arrangements to put my repairs a priority. Because of the temporary repairs, I was able to drop off the RV at his shop. Mr. Chavez made his promise good and worked diligently completing the work in a few days so I could continue my journey. Mr. Chavez completed experienced, professional, work. Mr. Chavez was courteous under the circumstances, which made much easier to handle the repair time. Fantastic work and affordable. I was able to complete my RV experience with pleasure and confidence. If you are considering repair or modifications this is "Your Guy!"Thanks again Bart

Mr. Chavez was our hero today!! Our trailer developed a water leak in the line. Mr. Chavez met us at his home and put in a new brass fitting in record time and got us back on the road to see the rest of the California missions. His customer service is outstanding as well as his prices. You won't be disappointed, I assure you!!

I had an electrical problem with my trailer; Uriel got me in the next day, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed and out the door before the end of the day. Super nice guy despite being swamped with work. Will definitely be using Uriel again!

Thoroughly disappointed- after 15 min. on site Mr. Chavez diagnosed my step problem to be a bad motor. Almost $200 to tell me that. I believed him and when I returned home ordered a new motor. I installed the new motor only to find that was not the problem. Further troubleshooting showed a broken wire to the door magnet. I sought a refund for the original labor and Mr.Chavez said he would return the diagnostic fee; however he has not kept his word. Over $300 for a broken wire.

Three years ago my 20 year old 5th wheel needed a new roof. Chavez did it. We kept it covered for the 3 years. Last month we discovered the roof was coming off. The new repair shop said the material was already disintegrated. 3 years. Another new roof. The original lasted 20. Poor poor poor work and a total waste of 3 grand. NEVER AGAIN!

Recommended to us by Moss Landing KOA. We needed a very quick repair to reattach the battery cable to our motorhome's generator. Uriel accomodated us on short notice and did a professional repair at a reasonable cost.

Visiting at the Elks Club, they were servicing someone, asked them stop by our coach because we smelled propane. He found the leak and repaired it. Very courteous.
