Thank you Armando for actually caring and taking the time to communicate with me about the issue everyone else seemed to have no clue about. After over a month I got what I was promised. It s sad that everyone is your best friend until you buy a car and then never acknowledge you again. Armando actually made it happen when he said he would. People spend a lot of for a vehicle don t treat them like there just another sell. That s how you don t get return customers. I truly appreciate your hard work and commitment to me even after the sell.

The moment I am walked into the service center at Cardinale I was greeted by Marlene who was extremely polite and helpful. I wasn t sure what to expect or how long the issue would take but Marlene was kept me informed with updates the whole time. A job that I was told would take 1-2 hours ended up taking only about 40 minutes and I was out of the door. Once my car was done Marlene explained what the issue was and how it was fixed. Because of the great service I received by Marlene, I will definitely be back for service and I have already referred two friend to bring their cars to Cardinale VW.

Tony and Armando made everything super easy and smooth the entire process helped me get the best deal possible and I left extremely happy with my new car and satisfied with the amazing service provided to me. Service department was very courteous and the Lyft ride was convenient. The only reason I gave a four star rating instead of five was because the service was incomplete. I brought the car in for a recall and an inspection. There was a message on the dashboard that it needed a 10,000 mile inspection which I mentioned when I made the appointment.The recall was fixed but the inspection was not addressed even with the message showing on the dashboard.I live in Monterey so its not that easy to bring the car in for service which I now have to do for a second time.

Took my vehicle a while back for an oil and filter change and they never changed the filter. Didn't notice until I saw it leaking on my driveway. Another mechanic checked it out and said that the filter hasn't been changed. When they clearly charged me for the oil and filter changed. Just be aware. Customer service was good.

I bought a car few years ago. My documents at the time of purchase stated that my car is a Volkswagen 2018 . However, I came to realization that it was not a 2018 but 2017. I didn t make a big deal about it until I had unexpected issue. For example, I had an incident where I had to replace my front windshield. I went thought extra barriers to get it fix. My issue was the dishonest.So, if you choice to purchase a car here just make sure everything is in order.

So I bought a brand new Volkswagen Golf GTI from this dealership in 2015. I now have 49k very well taken care of miles on it. I honestly like the car quite a lot. But now this dealership is telling me that a bad slave cylinder leaked some fluid and want 3k to replace the clutch (which is not giving me any trouble) and the fly wheel (which is also not giving me any trouble). I asked that they simply repair the leaky part not try to replace any and every part that may or may not have been leaked on. They claim that they will not, and demand a full repair or nothing. I pointed out that the car has only 49k miles on it and should reasonably be expected to go further without needing expensive

The singular guy for the parts has you wait for 5-15 minutes. Only one person for selling parts? It s not once, it s happened multiple times to me. The girl at the door doesn t greet you either, or anyone else for that matter.

Best car shopping experience in our lifetime! Tony, our sales representative quickly introduced himself, was so personable and professional. He quickly coordinated a test drive on two different vehicles so we were able to make comparisons. He was was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. Throughout the process Tony made sure we had all information needed to make a good decision.Armando, the manager was very personable, professional and introduced himself when we first arrived. Rather than the typical sales process where you go back and forth between your sales representative and the manager, everything was so well coordinated and efficient.Luis who was also very personable and professional was so efficient with explaining and completing financial aspects or our purchase.Steve, also very personable and professional provided the most thorough education including demonstration of all features of the vehicle to ensure we were well informed and had no questions. Steve emphasized we should never hesitate to call with any questions. Best and most thorough education we ve ever had with a new car purchase.This is an outstanding team and we would highly recommend this dealership!

I searched the country for a very specific vehicle. I found multiple but the sales people were gaming and manipulative. When working with other sales persons , if they weren t lying they weren t talking. I found the experience at Cardinale refreshingly efficient and reasonable. Orlando and Rolando were professional and available when I needed help with purchase and shipping. Negotiation was quick and reasonable. Highly recommend.

Didn't get good service. I bought the car a month ago. There was an issue with a panel that fell off And your service depart would not install it back on. Wanted me to buy a new panel for 200.00. The lady on the phone was rude. The service dept was not helpful.

The sales theatrics were above and beyond. So beyond one of the sales reps who didn t even know my name made sure he was disrespectful to a potential long term customer. Cardinal Volkswagen will not get any business from me. Good luck marking cars up 16k above MSRP.

Very nice experience great team that helped make my 1st big purchase. From helping me find what I was looking for to guiding me through the process of making my 1st big purchase. Would recommend them, especially to first-time buyers they have a nice program for us first-time buyers that are just starting their credit. they will find a way to make something work for you to get you started. Overall great people and awesome customer service. : )

The service team took very good care of me and my car and making sure I knew what exactly was wrong with it , since the place I took my car in to get the brakes done broke a piece of my brake sensor without telling me. They helped me get the information I needed.

All of your staff I came into contact with were very nice and professional. Your phone system DOES NOT WORK. You need to start over again. It is not possible to call and get anyone to answer the phone. The best it offers is eventual redirection to voicemail boxes that you leave messages that only get answered less than 10% of the time. I left a lot of messages over many different days! I got only one reply. When Marlene called me, she had just gone through all her messages, and she only had the one for me so where all those other messages went to is a mystery.I had brought the car in for recall work on my 2021 ID 4. The car also came with the first two service calls included and I wanted to have the second service call performed. I also was having an issue with one of the front parking sensors and wanted that checked out since it is under warranty. I was told it would take two days. I was given an Uber to the other side of town to get a Hertz rental car at Cardinale's expense. When the car was not ready on the 2nd or 3rd day I was never notified and could not get a live person when calling to inquire. I was called on the 4th day (Friday) at end of business hours. I live 90 minutes from the dealership, so I had to make arrangements to pick up Saturday. They also said I can drop the rental car at the dealership because the local Hertz office is not open on the weekends.When I got into the car I was greeted with the "Service Inspection is Overdue" warning and of course the annoying "Parking Sensor is Faulty" warning that I had hoped would be all taken care of during the four days Cardinale had the car. Marlene nor any other Service Advisor was there on Saturday so I could not ask why I was still getting all the warnings.Marlene called on Monday to let me know she dropped all the paperwork in the mail so to look for that. Also, they did look at the parking sensor, but it is damaged "due to rock or other road debris damage" hitting the sensor. She could have it replaced for I believe $1,187 including all the calibration but it would not be covered under warranty. She also informed me that she would include the paperwork showing that it was damaged by road debris, and I could use it to file a claim with my insurance. My deductible is $500 so it sounds better than almost $1,200!It has been 14 days since she said she mailed the paperwork, but nothing has arrived yet. I have called and left several voicemail messages through your phone system to inquire if it was sent to my physical address instead of our PO Box, where we get our mail, but have yet to be able to get a live person and no voicemail message has been returned.Since no maintenance was performed and I wanted to replace the cabin air filter I found a forum on Facebook and it is simple to replace. I ordered a new one on eBay for around $20. I also looked into the parking sensor issue and found out that this was a common issue and a simple replacement. The parking sensors DO NOT REQUIRE CALIBRATION and I was able to order one on eBay for $14.69 including shipping which was quite a savings from the $1,187 or $500 insurance deductible I was facing.Right now, I will repeat that ALL your staff were friendly and professional, but I am very disillusioned and unsatisfied with Cardinale VW in Salinas. If you care at all you will do a major overhaul with your phone system and procedures in the service department.Best of Luck,Jeffery and Susan

I really didn't like the experience I received. First they promised me starbucks when I arrived. They said they will have my ice cold tea ready when I arrived. Because it was a very hot day! That made me want to go there! They lied. They lured me in just to slam me. I didn't like the fact that they advertised the price, but they ended up adding unnecessary accessories to the price. Finance manager said he emailed my signed documents, which he never did! I'm still waiting Samir! Probably would never recommend this dealership ever!

I worked with Orlando and he was excellent throughout the car buying process. I was out of state and he sent me lots of pics and videos and responded to all my requests even on his days off!! He made me feel like a VIP which I appreciated! If you want a smooth buying process and excellent customer service Orlando is your sales person! Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our used 2012 toyota tundra! Our saleman Steve S. went above and beyond helping us purchase our used (new to us) vehicle. He assisted us in every way possible purchasing this vehicle considering the situation we had to work with. We didn't feel pressured in testing out vehicles that didn't suite our needs and wants. Neither were we coerced into purchasing extra services or items that we didn't need. Steve was very respectful understanding what we needed. He even took the extra step making sure the car was running fine ever after a few days of our purchase to ensure we were truly happy with our purchase. My father is beyond happy with his truck and we ended up leaving the dealership with more than we had expected! I plan on purchasing my next vehicle here again not only for the welcoming environment and excellent services they had to offer, but because the whole experience was smooth and efficient I wouldn't have had it any other way!
