When I called in to have an alignment done on 2005 Honda Odyssey they quoted a lower price but when I brought it in and used my Costco discount they charged a $50 difference. Also it didn't help to inform me the car was done and ready to go. One time and the last time.

After buying a lemon at United Stars Motors in south sac, I brought my vehicle here to have major work done. The staff was friendly throughout the whole process and they were also very transparent about what was going on with the vehicle. I was nervous because I had already been dealing with the stress from that used car lot. But it has been about two months since I've had this work done at this mechanic and now the car is fine. I can't say if they're over priced because my particular repair was an expensive job. But based on the customer service I received, I can imagine that they would be willing to have that discussion with anyone who visits them.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

They overcharge pretty much they double the price on all the parts that I need. If I would have just brought the parts myself I could have same $1000. Crazy right? I would recommend buying your own parts if you to decide to go to this shop. I would recommend not even going to the at all because it seems as if they are looking to overcharged people.Find other shop to take your car to you'll save a lot of moneyServices: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I brought my Yaris in today with issues that I was just holding off on forever it seems. I chose this shop according to Google search & reviews. Best choice ever. I dealt with Jim & his team. And let me tell you, the service was amazing. They were able to fix my car on the same day (never happened before in history). Jim is very knowledgeable & transparent. I was really impressed with the turn around time. Instead of making me wait for my repairs to be completed. Jim dropped me off at home. I later returned for my Yaris & I brought my Porsche with me for him to check on some issues. His team was able to fix the issues & saved me $2300 in repair cost. The price is very reasonable & there s no pressure whatsoever. Once all 2 vehicles were completed. Jim was able to drive one of my cars home by following me, so that I don t have to UBER back & forth. The best customer service experience ever! If I can give more than a 5 stars & I ll give it a 10!

By far the best customer service at ANY auto shop I have ever been to! They got me in right away and service is done in a timely manner. Definitely referring my family and friends to get their car work done here. Plus they have FINANCING. Thank you SJM team! :)

I don't about the service side of things because I just picked up a car from them. But their customer service is beyond great. The manager was really nice & all their mechanics stopped what they were doing to come over and help out, without even asking.

They truly in every way check things out, so when you get your vehicle back, you know it has been fixed to their specifications. They are very thorough in what they do. They go the extra mile to inform you if other things have been noticed and inform you if they are immediately needed. Thank you everyone at at South Japanese Motor for the work you did in finding my problems with my just purchased use Nissan pickup.

These guys are great! My car was in poor shape about a year and a half ago. My car doesn't leak anymore. My air conditioner is cool and with the hot weather here in sac. The shocks and timing belt where replace and it rides and accelerates awesome now. i get my oil changes here and will keep coming back.

Just moved up to Northern California didn t know any mechanics I got plugged with Japanese motors through a friend there is a price but so far the service has been great

I had bad experience. They checked my car and told me what supposed to be fixed with expensive price and it was completely opposite from real issue. I had just unscrewed bold and it was obviously.

Terrible, Ive had many cars worked on by many shops, and this one by far the worst. If you need your car worked on properly, I would highly suggest going somewhere else. I payed $200 for a diagnostic and repair, they said the radiator was improperly flushed they went ahead and fixed it. Drive it home has the same problem, I take it back the next day turned out they were wrong on the diagnostic and did not want to refund me my money. Im just posting this so noone else gets screwed over.This is too funny, you did not mention the fact that when I brought it in the first time around your diagnostic was wrong, you said the radiator needed too be properly flushed, that was the problem. When in reality the problem was actually a blown head gasket, so my question here is when I brought the car in the first time around, how come you did not mention a blown head gasket? Any other shop I have been to never required two diagnostics to find the problem, you guys simply did not do your job correctly.

I needed a diagnostic for my 95 Honda Accord. They told me I need a computer for car because it won t read the code. After that is done, my check engine light would go off. They charge $88. Few days later, I got my transmission and power steering flush somewhere else, that took away the check engine light. They refused to give me a refund.So, I ll say my experience was a bad one. Don t go to them; they can t be trusted.

URGENT!!! BEWARE Went through 2 new motors in 1 year. First engine leaked oil all over and had a crack in the head. Then the 2nd new engine leaked oil from multiple places. EVER CHECK YOUR WORK? I was promised I would be taken care of ! OH I WAS $5,000.00 and YEAR LATER I HAVE A GREAT BLOWN ENGINE ONCE AGAIN!!!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

They are a good repair shop with great customer service. They always provide good quality work with fair prices. I had to have a smog repair done and ever since then I go back for all my repairs.

Brought my 2014 subaru crosstrek here and had my transmission replaced. They were made the expriance fast an easy. Price was relatively inexpensive (compared to the dealership).

I work long hours, and just happened to come across South Japanese motor. Even after hours not only did they accommodate me. They were very patient, thoughtful, not condescending. Reasonable prices

Over charge and they don't put all the parts back on. Worse place I ever been to. They deserve a minus 5 stars. Karma will get them. They deserve the same service they gave me where ever they go!!

Great Honest mechanics that dont try and break your pockets with unnecessary fixes. Would recomend them to anyone with a Japanese made car! Would give 6 stars if I could. Very friendly honest staff
