(Adding an extra star because Google only allows 5 star reviews)Man, from start to finish getting my car serviced was a snap. I m old school and typically call in for repairs but the shop has online scheduling AND updates via text message (with photos) AND online payments. Seriously, this type of set up couldn t be more convenient. Then there s the actual service. Mike is an honest guy who obviously appreciates his customers. The prices are fair and their work is solid. Give these guys a shot!

Hi, my 2008 Dodge Dakota broke down. The shop I took it to said the repair needed to be done by a dodge dealer. I called the Dealer and it would be a month out to get my truck in. Did a search and found Jack Dane Auto Service nearby. I called and Mike said yes they could work on my truck and did make the repairs needed. They did thorough inspection to let me know about other issues as well. The problem was fixed. I will be bringing my business their way in the future and will recommend it to friends and family as well. Thank you BillRoseville Ca

I recently decided to service my 100k+ miles car rather than buy again. Tough decision but, I'm glad I did it. After their work, this thing is like a new car. I didn't realize how rough it was running, until after the service. Highly recommended!

When you find a mechanic you can rely on, you stick with them. I have several aging vehicles and all of the have visited Jack Dane. I have never been pressured to have a service completed and they stand behind their work. My most recent trip in was for when my trunk would not latch. When they tested it, of course it worked. The tried several times to replicate the issue but it kept working each time. Mike stated they could replace the latch, but suggested we wait to see if it does it again. Jack Dane has earned my trust and I will continue to do business with them.

Couldn t ask for more honest and helpful guys. Had an engine blow in my Focus. They wrote up a quote for a brand new crate motor, not a remanufactured one, and was still competitive with not only the dealership but other shops as well. I m not saying it was cheap but you get what you pay for in a good way. Service was exceptional, their writer Mike is extremely professional and always had an answer for all my questions. Their techs had no issue with me asking for updates and pictures, unlike dealerships. All in all, the best way to describe my experience with them is honest, professional, helpful, and most importantly and hard to come by nowadays is their friendliness. Great service for my Toyota. Not trying to sell unnecessary services or parts like some shops do. They will educate you on when certain services are needed. I wish I could take my other German car to this shop.

Thank you Jack Dane Auto Service of Rocklin for your professional and prompt service. After hearing a loud pop and losing brake pressure, I took my diesel truck to Jack Dane Auto Service, as they were recommended as one of the best mechanics in the Rocklin area. Mike greeted me in the office indicating it could take a couple of days. Mike also took the time to talk to me about other issues with my truck. Ed was extremely professional and friendly. I told him I'd just purchased a 20-year-old Camry and he did a thorough inspection on top of addressing the concerns that I had. Mike at the Rocklin shop has been great to work with over the past year -- he was able to step up and diagnose/fix issues on our 2005 Dodge Minivan when the weasel dealers won't touch anything older than 10 years. If he can't get a new part, he knows who sells used ones. The service was a diagnostic for parasitic draw on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500. They are very methodical and eliminated items functioning properly. I will be bringing my truck back for additional diagnostics as this service requires equipment and professional expertise.I selected this company over a dealer shop. I stopped by without an appointment to have my headlight bulbs replaced and Mike was able to get me in and replace both low beam and the high beam bulbs while I waited. I really appreciate the prompt service . They had me in and out in a timely manor and I was very pleased with the work that they performed. I was visiting in Rocklin from Colfax for my granddaughter s birthday party. It was close to 10 PM when we were going to head for home and I want to turn on the car and there was no power at all. I thought the battery died. I was trying to call through my insurance company to get a tow and whatever was needed but they had me on hold for a long time while they were helping somebody else! I decided to leave with other family members and came back on Monday! We decided to have it towed to a mechanic in Rocklin. They gave us three names of places, and I chose Jack Dane Auto Service in Rocklin. They just seemed like the best choice.I am glad I chose them because they were very kind and very helpful! I asked them what could be wrong with my car because we had the battery checked by Napa and they said nothing was wrong with it! They said we will definitely have to check it out because there s a lot of different things that it could be! The shop was very tidy and very clean, and they were so kind it just seemed like I could really trust them! So that was pretty late in the afternoon and they told us they would check it all out and get back to us!So we went home and they called the next day letting me know what the problem was. It was the starter motor! They also sent me a list of other things that they checked out and could use attention, and they gave me pricing on everything also! And a lot of the things that they suggested they sent pictures they had taken to show me also, what was wrong. I had no idea my car needed all that attention. A couple things they had said had come to my attention in the past, but they said it could wait. It doesn t surprise me because it is 22 years old but no one has ever told me that all those things needed attention! So I couldn t afford to get everything done right away, but chose a few things! And they did quite a few things at no charge, even installing some new windshield wipers I had!So I was able to Google the prices they said and see if they were in a good price range& they were! I was totally happy And satisfied with everything they did! I think they are very honest, and I have been to a couple places in the past that we re not so honest!I would recommend them to anyone who needs auto service! Especially women because most of the time women do not know very much about cars! And I thought it was great that they sent me pictures on the problems of some of them! And I could tell that those problems have been like that for quite a while!So if you would like to be treated like a valued customer and to feel that you can trust those repairing your vehicles, Jack Dane is the place to go! This is a great shop. Mike, at the service desk, was friendly and informative. The car needed brake work and 100K mile service, which revealed other needed service. All of the problems were detailed with pictures and approval of repairs was easy online. Car was finished when promised and everything is working great. They always do a great job of explaining what maintenance needs to be performed, as well as any minor maintenance that could be put off until later. The dreadful Engine Check Light suddenly lite up my instrument panel shortly after I started driving. It was late at night so first thing the next morning I called Mike and he was able to get me right into the shop to begin figuring out what was needed.By midday I received a text that the issue was an open thermostat which prevented the engine from reaching the right temp.The problem was quickly diagnosed and solved with a new thermostat installed.Thanks to everyone at Great Dane as they got me quickly back on the road!Also, unlike some other dealers that put me on hold and forgot I was there, Mike picked up on the 2nd ring and took my call.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
