Quality service. My car is running smoothly and I feel so safe. Jody informed me of any changes from my estimate and asked for approval before work was completed. Completely satisfied with the service and will recommend Holts to others

This was a great experience. Holt s is professional and personable. Sufficient timewas spent for me to explain the problems with my auto. I was given a clear explanation of the diagnostic needed, the estimated cost, and a timeframe of how long my auto would be there. I immediately felt my auto was in good hands, and I sensed the security in trust in Holt s.The office manager was also very nice and accommodating.Holt s had serviced my son, and grandson s auto before.I am an older individual, and I have been to many auto repair places over the years. I have always bought new cars and gone specifically to the dealership where I bought the car. This time was different because I traveled in from out-of-state. I experienced auto problems on the road. Holt s was recommended in my dire-straights situation. Holt s was very busy. Yet, I just can t say enough about the A-1 service, and car care I experienced. Whent in cause I was hearing ticking noise from my engine. Wanted to see what was wrong with it. Mechanic didn't think it was anything serious wich thought was weird. I did need an oil change so got that done , must be bad coincidence cause the next time i go to start my truck it won't even start. Got a throttle sensor error on my dash. Now I'm 100+ dollars later with no working truck. Probly had nothing to due with this shop but from my stand point it was less than helpful for me and don't understand how this couldn't be caught sooner..

I've been a service writer for an automotive repair shop for a few years. After I moved and changed jobs, I needed a new shop for my daily drive car. I called, and Jody was very helpful. She worked with me to find the soonest availability. After brake inspection, it was found that the car just needed some cleaning and adjustment.Most shops will try to up sell you or recommend services not needed. I appreciate a shop that does a quality job with good service. Thanks

Brought my car in because the battery kept dying. Turned out to be something very simple, and Holt s made sure to call me and update me about my vehicle every single day. Service writers were great and very patient with me, I overloaded them with information I'm sure, but they explained everything to me very well. I hate going to shops, but this one is worth checking out if you need anything done to your vehicle. Shop is small, but the crew keeps it very clean. Very impressive.Service: Electrical repair

Great staff that takes care of you. I brought in my car to get the AC fixed, a week later is stopped working again. The Holt Automotive staff squeezed me in on the Friday before a holiday weekend and got it fixed free of charge. Definitely recommend, honest and fair auto shop!

Dane and Jodi are the best. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest folks! I am new to town, my brother has been using Holt's for many years for all his vehicles and referred me to this shop. I'm so happy that I found Holt's. As a woman who knows nothing about vehicles, I continually get scammed for unnecessary repairs by dealerships in Roseville. What a relief to find such an honest shop. This was my first time at Holt's. I needed to have engine mounts replaced and Jody provided me with a detailed estimate. She was very courteous and responsive. They did a great job replacing the engine mounts and work was completed on time. During the work they also found that the front driver side wheel bearings needed to be replaced. They provided me with an estimate and were able to complete the work the next morning, despite having to order the parts. Car runs great now without shaking or vibrating and the noise level has greatly improved.I can't confirm whether the cost to replace the wheel bearings was in line with what other service shops would charge, but the cost to replace the engine mounts was competitive to what other shops in the area were charging. Would definitely bring my car here again for service.Service: Engine repair

Never again will I come here. They said they will fix my car from over heating and charged me 500 in labor and repairs just for my car to over heat again. When I called them back in the morning they wanted to blame me for car over heating still when I paid them to fix my car they said will do another diagnostics on my car but would charge me more money for the new repairs. I m 9 months pregnant I can t afford to pay for something they was suppose to fix the first time, I feel like they took advantage of me cause I m a female. I basically spent 500 on 2 different diagnostic on my car because they didn t fix the problem all they did was take off the new parts and put my old sensor back on and replaced my temperature gauge with one of there s. I told them in the beginning what was wrong with it and they charged me 200 to tell me something I already knew before hand. I basically did there job for them because everything I said that was wrong with my car is the same thing they tried to fix and charged me 200 just to tell me there fixing the issue I told them about . They gave it back to me and said it works but clearly it doesn t. Now I have to risk driving my car downtown Sacramento to uc davis to give birth to my baby and hope I don t break down on the side of the road on my way there.

Agree with the reviews, really good experience. Called and talked to Jodie. She was able to get me in and replace the alternator before the weekend. Appreciate them conforming the issue and evaluating the car/issue before the work. Honda dealer tried to tell me there was a lot more issues (up sell). Jodie was great and very friendly. Plan to be a returning customer.

Excellent working with Holt Automotive. Vehicle need a new starter. They gave me permission to be towed from my stranded spot to the repair. Even though I anticipated having to wait a few days, they managed to fit me in the same day, diagnosing the problem, installing a new starter, and getting me ready for pu the same day. The cost was extremely fair. Very courteous staff. If you need auto repairs, I suggest going to this shop.

Another great experience with Holt Automotive. Car needed a new starter. They allowed me to tow to the shop from my stranded location. Even though I expected to wait few days, they squeezed me in same day, not only diagnosed issue but installed new starter and was ready for pu same day. Price was very reasonable. Staff very polite. I recommend this shop if in need of auto repair.

Went in today to make an appointment for my 2005 Acura as I'm giving it to my brother and want to make sure that it's running well. Ineeded A.C. Freon replacement, Radiator flush, Transmission flush, possible breaks. just a general engine go through to make sure it's good. I stood in the office for a good 10 minutes. I then stood almost in the middle of the building another 10 minutes. Said hello outload and nothing. Bathroom doors were open. I could not see or here a soul. Went back online and ended up down the street at a place called Gallardo's. Got my appointment. Holts may be very good but I'll never know. Thank you.

Dane and Jody have always been trustworthy and honest. I have been bring my cars to Holts for years. I will not go anywhere else. Got me in and out same day. Have gone through many mechanics in the area before finding Holts. Highley recommended them. They're honest, fair and reasonable. 2nd visit to Holt's: still VERY happy! And this small business is almost $20 less than Speedee Oil for the same exact service! And we're taking my wife's car in too, now. Holt's will do any car work they're capable of doing for us! Definitely worth checking out!Dane was WONDERFUL! He got me in for an oil change & tire rotation within a few days. We've been looking for a small business to handle our car care for a while & I think we found it. He really paid attention & checked everything! He seems to really care about what he's doing. I use my car for work so it's VITAL that she's running well & I feel like we're in good hands with Holt's!

I had a grinding noise coming from my car when I made a left turn. I am visiting from Oregon. I called, they had a opening, got car right in. Very friendly people, VERY knowledgeable. Problem solved. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Holt's Automotive is great! They've always treated me professionally and honestly. My business with Holt's goes back over 20 years. Dane the owner with Jodi in the office are top notch! They service nearly all makes and models, which in today s automotive world is extremely difficult to do, especially for a small shop. They've always given me a quality job, with quality parts. Recently I had them do some long overdue coolant system maintenance on my Diesel pick-up. Jay, one of their mechanics really stepped up and gave suggestions for parts, and did a Superb job on the work. I couldn t recommend Holt's more! Remember though, It's a small shop, and they do get backed-up and a little behind sometimes. It comes with doing quality work and having a steady clientele. Support your local mechanic, and don t rush your mechanic!

Excellent first time experience with Holt. They re fast, responsive and honest! They misquoted a price that was higher than actual and they adjusted the invoice and reduced the final price by a $100+ dollars.

Brought my grandpas old rust bucket truck in that needed some serious attention. Just needed it good enough to safely drive back up north. They got my truck in and taken care of. Another problem popped up after i took it back and they got me right back in to get it diagnosed. Very happy with their professionalism And customer service. Good work isnt cheap, and cheap work isnt good. Just remember that when shopping around. I chose this shop because of it's other great reviews. i brought my car in at 1o clock Monday thinking it probably wont get done for a few days. next morning i get a call saying itll be done by the end of the day. very fast service. i recommend you call and make and appointment beforehand. Holt s booked me in at short notice when my truck wouldn t start. The receptionist was very helpful and the technician that called with the diagnosis shortly after was also very professional and helpful. They had my truck fixed with two new batteries to replace the worn out ones and ready to go again within a few hours. Great service and reasonable prices.Service: Battery
