Why go anywhere else? Rick had the best price available, knew exactly what I needed and answered all my questions. Quick easy transaction and fast turn around time. New prostreet freeway flyer looks amazing and performs even better! Highly recommend!

Rebuilt my VW Vanagon transmission with Ricky and he took good care of me. Even with a hiccup in the process (probably my fault) he went out of his way to get it right when he didnt have to. Thats whats up! Will definitely reccomend to anyone to just talk to the guy. Great knowledge base.

OK, guys and gals. Have Wright build your engine and mate it with the gearbox he recommends. Then, if you haven't looked into a CB Performance Black Box, you really need to. I've been running it for just over a week, and the difference is truly staggering. I'm getting 3.2 more miles to the gallon on my 1915cc with a Wright Gear Box Pro street trans. Also, if you haven't looked into having your motor built by Rickie Wright, you really really need to!!!!! The combination of engine, trans and Black Box is something else. No flat spots, zero hesitation when accelerating, instant throttle response. Smooth performance all the way from 850-950rpm at idle, through the power band, all the way to my rev-limiter that I programmed in at 6200rpm. The set up was a lot of fun before, but now, it's downright badass. I'm actually a little upset with myself for not adding the CB Performance unit to the bug when I first installed everything over the Christmas Holiday. Give Rickie Wright a call to get your drive train handled, then call CB Performance to get your Black Box shipped to you as fast as you can. Marrieanne Martin at CB is a pleasure to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable, so she'll make sure you have everything you need to get things set up and running, and Rickie Wright has probably forgotten more about air cooled performance than I will ever be able to learn. Both of these companies offer straight up made in the U.S.A. quality like it used to be, and both are VETERAN FRIENDLY!!!!! I can't really think of anything more complimentary to say than that. Unbeatable quality, and unmatched customer service. The thing I hate most in this world, is crossing the state line and driving in to California, but I would look forward to the trip just to drop off a couple of cases of beer at each one of these establishments. Wright Gear Box, I'm going to need that larger displacement build we had discussed in about 2 months, and CB Performance, I'll be calling you for more goodies for that build. Keep up the good work. Rick rebuilt my 1989 Vanagon manual transmission and with 80,000 plus miles it is still preforming like new. I would highly recommend Wright Gearbox to anyone.
