What do you think you ll accomplish by refusing to give 96 year old Gene Winfields property back? He s given so much to the automotive culture and should be respected and yet you dishonor him by keeping his property. If I could give negative stars I would. I ve been in the automotive repair industry for decades and I will do everything I can to make sure that potential customers will know the truth ,you have no integrity. Give Gene his property back.

If I could give you zero stars I would! So messing with Gene. Give the man his property back. Give him his tools. He considered you a friend and you took advantage of him. Gene is a well known man in the industry with a great work ethic. How do you think this is going to go for you? Just do the right thing! Picking on a man in his 90's is not right!

I m only getting one side of this story, I have met Gene a few times, I don t understand why he can t get his cars back. Let s hear your side of the story or do the right thing and give the man back his cars and tool.

Just a word of advice , the bad publicity and view of the public is worth alot , it would be better to give Gene Winfield back his cars , if not the public opinion is strong and the amount of work you could lose from this may be drastic , I am sure there are always 2 sides to every story, but just give the 96yo his cars , let him live out the rest if his days with what he knows and owns not the stress of this , is the money really that important, and if u do keep the cars , do u think anyone in the hot rod world would respect you, my two centsI can't mention the work you perform or anything other than hearsay on this matter nor do I want to slander you , just remember alot of us are behind Gene fully

My friend has had the worst experience at this shop. The service provided was very poor and communication was nearly nonexistent. The owner of the shop is less than honorable.

I had an accident with my neighbors parked car and Woodcrest Collision made it good as new. They were efficient and fairly priced. I was fortunate to use the right facility. The owner kept me aware of every phase of repairs.

Couldn't even get an estimate from there. Took my car in last Thursday and they said they'd call me the next day. I called on Monday when they still hadn't called me back and they rushed me off the phone saying they'd call me back Tuesday. Still no call, I even checked voicemails and missed calls to make sure. I held off from getting my car fixed a whole week waiting on them. Thanks.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Allen, the owner, is AWESOME ! He has always been on-site when I needed him. He doesn't sit behind a desk and talk on phones or play on computers like many others I have seen. He is an action kinda guy, I always see him interacting with clients on a personal level. He takes time to give you the attention you need, and is 100% involved with every aspect of your repair. He has kept me updated, and nw er slacks on getting insurance co to get moving. Allen, has been available to assist me on the spot, twice, with a rough estimate following a collision. He began the intake process right then, taking pics a offering his honest expertise.If your insurance co tries to sucker you into taking your car to one of their own, "certified repair shops", try to keep in mind that Allen, at Woodcrest Collision, has a reputation to withhold in both, quality of service and repair. He holds the same warranties that you get anywhere, but the major difference is that he cares about your repair, your time, and how long it takes to get you back in your car. If you need a repair, please support Allen, and his awesome staff at Woodcrest Collision on Wood road by taking your business there. This is one of the good guys in the car repair industry.

This business has new ownership and I'm here to tell you that Alan Johnson and his staff are quite simply the very best. In a world full of humdrum service and hoodlums posing as collision repair experts it is refreshing to run across a collision center that exemplifies excellence. If you care about your car and would like to see it repaired correctly, then this is the place for you. If you care about service and want to be treated with respect, then this is your place. Alan and the staff at Woodcrest Collision Center are the best at what they do. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself, this is the light at the end of the tunnel.

I went in for a paint job estimate for my son's car. Warmly greeted by Marie who went out to take pictures of the car. Soon we were joined by owner, Anthony Lira. Marie showed him the crunching sound when opening the door and he fixed it on the spot! Also, educated me on pros/cons of a quality paint vs "cheap" paint jobs so I can ask the right questions when getting estimates. This is an owner who is interested in serving the customers needs, not just making a sale. He will have our paint/body business from now on!

*STOP!! Take your time AND READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU SIGN PAPERS WITH ALAN (Owner)*I took my vehicle for repairs that my Insurance paid him to do. He told me he was NOT going to work on the vehicle until he gave me an estimate for other parts of my the vehicle did not get covered by the insurance, so Alan was supposed to give me a quote for those damages which took him almost 2 weeks to make an estimate. Like other reviewers said, he just kept giving me run arounds. Durning those 2 weeks I had found another shop that gave me a quote in just a couple hours!! So once I told him that I needed the insurance check money back because i was taking my vehicle to another shop due to him taking waaaaaayy to long to give me a quote for a few parts to repaint, he got upset and decided to remove all bumpers, mirrors and handles and even wet sanded the whole vehicle which wasn t even ready for paint at all, just so he can get a cut from the check!! I argued with him because He only refunded me $1,017 out of 3,500 to be exact. He also refused to finish the job that the insurance paid him to do. Alan s paint and labor quote for the insurance was about $2,400. Now I had to put over 1,000 dollars to fix my vehicle. I also got in touch with California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) bar.ca.gov and opened a case against his actions and let me tell you that did not go so great either. BAR went to my house and took a look at my vehicle, took pictures, saw the evidence and agreed that those actions were super bad. Took the investigator over a month to go to Alan s shop and then calls me saying that he felt bad for Alan because he was hurting for money so I was only able to get another check of $500. I was like really how the heck do you know he doesn t have money. AVOID YOUR HEADACHE AND SKIP THIS SHOP.

Good place for body work... but if you need anything mechanical done... i would go somewhere else. My fuel gauge wasnt working. They fixed the problem.. but..: when i pulled out of the parking lot check engine light was on. Turned around and went back... they said our tech is only here on the weekends . So i came back on a saturday... they said its only your gas cap causing the check engine light to be on..was fine for about 20 miles then light came back on.I went back again... on a Saturday. Needed a smoke test to figure out the problem... thing is they dont have one.. come back next saturday... that was it for me. I went somewhere else to get it checked out..READY... they forgot to attach a plug on top of the gas tank... cost me another $ 120.00 to have someone one else plug it back in. Somewhat disappointed that my mechanical issues werent resolved.

They're kind, but you know, who cares kindness?I've visited there for repairing a minor dent on the left rear door.It's extremely expensive, (over $700) and it takes too long time (for four days).It's so minor dent that I thought it might have been possible to repair it by myself.

This is the only place we take our cars for body work.. Family owned and they do it right the first time!!!
