These guys are the real deal. From the moment I called, the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Never left me waiting or wondering. They rebuilt my transmission and gave me my truck back feeling like new. Jeff was in constant communication with me the entire time, great guy. Great techs and Honest company. Thanks Protrans!

Michael and the office staff were awesome! They were friendly, communicated clearly, their estimate was accurate, and the work was done quickly. I would definitely encourage others to get an estimate and consider for any repairs or service.

So last year I was recommended to go to Pro Trans. I have a 2015 Fiat 500. They did excellent work. This year I needed a little follow up with the same situation, and they took even better care of my car. I can't recommend them enough, not only do they take excellent care of your car, the staff is also wonderful!

Always happy with the excellent customer service, follow-up, and quality of work done. I've been going to Protrans Automotive for a few years now and Jeff and Michael have always been upfront and honest. I have never had a bad result or negative experience ---all at very fair prices in all the work I've had done. A good mechanic(s)--priceless.

In the past, I have had a good experience going to Protrans. Today, I went for and oil change as well as to get my side mirror fixed since the back part came off. Michael Radak, the service advisor, said I needed the filter changed and tire rotation that would've totaled to almost $300. I refused the tire rotation but accepted the cabin filter change thinking it would be less that $100. However, when I got the invoice the total came out to $255. It was $103.85 for the oil change and $151.70 for the cabin filter labor and part. What was astounding was the $94.50 for the labor of changing my cabin filter, a service that is done tool free and in a short time. Due to time constraints, I paid without questioning. However, upon returning for clarification for the high labor cost for the cabin filter, Michael attributed the extra charge to the mirror repair, which he initially claimed would be free. Regrettably, this charge was not itemized on the invoice. This lack of transparency and dishonesty with the unexpected charges are concerning and leave me feeling deceived.I intend to communicate my dissatisfaction with Triple AAA a company I trust, as they recommend Protrans to their clients. Honest and transparent practices are fundamental to any business relationship, particularly in automotive services. I hope that sharing my experience will prompt Protrans to reassess their practices and prioritize clear communication and honesty with their customers in the future.

Very unproffesional service, I made an appointment and was there right on time at 8 am, my brakes needed fixing in the middle of moving so I had my car packed. After looking in my car the employee said I had to remove everything from the passenger seat including a 50 inch super heavy plasma I had sitting on it. After I told them that I could move everything out beside the plasma because its too heave for me and would need help, they offered me nothing and handed me my keys saying figure it out. After this I went to Firestone and they were surprised that was even an issue because it wasnt a weight problem or a space problem and fixed my car. Very snobby people ProTrans.

Protrans staff was great to work with from the beginning. Their customer service was exceptional throughout the whole process. Giving me updates on a daily basis on the progress and concerns with my vehicle. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking to have their transmission repaired.

BEWARE:I took my 2014 Ford Focus in 12/22 and they said it needed the clutch rebuilt for approx $2900. I took it other places and they said clutch was bad too, so I went with Protrans because they offered a 1 yr warranty. They called me and said that they couldn't warranty their work if I didn't pay an additional $1300, for issues they hadn't expected. (1st red flag)Picked my car up 3 weeks later and the tires were full of nails and metal bits, and there was 50 miles put on my car (2nd red flag). Brought it back 3 weeks later because it still stuttering when accelerating. Mike told me that "he did not feel a problem from the clutch or trans perspective" on the test drive......so I left.The problem got worse and worse, so I took it to a Ford service, and they said the clutch needed to be rebuilt.I returned the car to Protrans (3rd time), they rebuilt clutch AGAIN, called me and said....although the clutch was under warranty, they had to replace 2 addt'l parts so we would like you to pay for that.I said no.When I went to pick up the car they informed me that there would be no warranty on their work this time, and as I drove away the car still stuttered!!! BEWARE!1 STAR ONLY BECAUSE THE SYSTEM REQUIRES, IF ONLY A NEGATIVE STAR WAS AVAILABLE.

Fantastic work! I called around to a couple of shops and they told me they couldn't help me with my 28 foot class A motor home. Those other shops recommended Protrans. I called and Cory got my RV in the next business day and my coach transmission was diagnosed that afternoon. It was quick and Cory and Jeff worked with our schedule as we had a trip reserved for that weekend. The team at Protrans rebuilt my E4OD transmission and got me back on the road by that weekend. We drove our RV 500 miles to and from death Valley via Towne pass (4963ft from sea level) no problems. ALOT OF CONFIDENCE in this transmission for sure!

This is a great shop. I bought the the bilstein b12 pro suspension kit and was originally going to put it on myself. When I realized it was something I was in over my head I contacted Protrans. I heard back from Jeff and we were able to make an appointment for the next day. Brought my car in and it was done the same day. Everyone I talked to from the shop was very respectful and professional. I will be recommending this shop to all my friends and family and will be coming back for future work. Would definitely recommend Protrans. They were extremely friendly, had a clean facility and very communicative. I was ready for a rebuilt transmission but they discovered it was motor mounts and would cost a fraction of the rebuilt quote. Will be taking all of my vehicles here from now on.

Jeff was Awesome Thank you again for all the help!My husband and I couldn't be happier. We have a Ford Fusion and there were a number of things that had to be repaired and they brought my car back to life. My engine was overheating and had problems with the a/C, Jeff had also noticed I needed some new tires and gave me and my family a great deal. I'm so glad I came to you guys when I did. Service was friendly, clear, and respectful. Went in for a coolant leak and failing coolant fans. They charged 130$ to find the leak and about 1000$ to replace the fans and the water pump. They made some extra maintenance suggestions but were very clear on what was essential to fix the leak, and what was only a suggestion. Not pushy at all. The prices they told me ahead of time matched up with what they actually billed me for. They had the problem diagnosed the same day I took the car in and had it repaired by the next day. I had to use a payment plan for the first time to cover part of the cost. They made it easy and quick to get a good loan. It's been a week since I went in and the car hasn't had any problems since. Car was a chevy sonic.

Protrans Automotive & Transmission the personnel at your service station are Honest and informative; providing the utmost work on my GMC Terrain. The car was checked out with an engine analyzer prior to visit. Your mechanics did a diagnostic check and came up with the same code.So, I was relieved the service station was not going to rip me of.. or take advantage of a senior citizen.Timely, informative and status of recommended work was provided. Updates discussed before their professional work continued.When I picked up my vehicle, such a difference!! It was like I received a brand new car. The Terrain runs so smoothly. Twice now I've had the pleasure of having my 2007 Dodge Ram serviced with this fantastic business. The most recent was last week prior to that about 5 years ago. The first time was the alternator and battery replacement with a long drive home to follow. A little scary but everything worked out just fine. Visiting family once again last week when my check engine light illuminated.. yikes! Not to worry! From the first phone call with Corey to schedule an appointment to working with Jeff and Michael to get the issue resolved before returning home to Arizona! Communication was excellent! They even looked into getting my side view mirror replaced however I was unable to stick around for them to complete it. Darn it! All the same I highly highly recommend ProTrans!!! Their pricing is reasonable along with the reliable service. Best I've ever experienced. These guys did great work rebuilding my transmission and got it done within 3 days. Had to use my truck to move and the truck drove well with no issues. This was my first time visit at Protrans Automotive, I did not know what to expect and was worried about how bad my car was and what it would cost me. Jeff greeted me and was very professional and welcoming. While my car was being repaired, I made arrangements to rent a car at a rental place, which was about 1/2 mile away. I was offered a ride to the car rental place by Protrans, which was really nice and accommodating since the weather was very frigid that morning. That afternoon, Jeff called me and advised my car was ready and it was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I was pleased with their hospitality and professionalism. I brought my 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas Vehicle to Protrans b/c it couldn't be serviced at the Dealer. Protrans was able to define the issue(s); work thru them & get my vehicle back on the road. No issues for over 6 months now. The Team is polite, very knowledgable, but most importantly professional. I highly recommend Protrans for anyone that needs service for their vehicle.Service: Auto maintenance

This place is 5 stars their the best they fixed my car in 1 day electrical diagnostics, and did oil change for only 89 , usually I pay 135 , Came back to have them charge my battery and replace my alternator and now everything works brand new . Best Place to go to affordable prices and These Guys know why their doing their Professional they worked on 2020 Volkswagen Jetta And many mechanic shops told me to go Volkswagen but I looked up reviews on who works on new Volkswagen and they were closes to me not even half a mile away. They Credit options as well which is what I used to fix my vehicle. I took the chance to just drop in without an appointment early in the morning because I needed some expertise on a problem. They were so helpful and got the problem fixed and then took care of an oil change. Since I was new to the area, I was referred to this place by a tire shop when I started hearing my car making grinding noise underneath. Pro Transmission towed my car to their repair shop (for $75 which would be added to the repair cost later).After I received a call from Michael at the shop telling me that it would cost $2195.00 to fix my car I knew that I'd need time to scrape together those funds. When I new that I could not, I called back and notified Michael to stop anything being done to my car, I needed more time.He never offered to put in a used transmission (which would have been less money).I reached out to my previous mechanic in L.A. County where I had been taking my vehicles for repairs for the last 25 years. This mechanic offered to come and tow my car back to his shop, and offered a less amount, much less amount to repair it. So I decided to take that offer, since it was less, he was accommodating me and he was someone I'd known for many many years.The next morning I called Michael to pay him for the tow fee and tell him my car would be getting towed out that day. He promptly told me that they'd already begun work on it, and I would have to pay $250 for them to "put it back together". I tried to reason with him about the large amount of which I did not agree with, since I had advised him not to work on my car. He would not agree, but replied that he needs to "pay his employees", insisted that I would need to pay a full $325. just to get my car back.I felt like this guy was extorting money from me. I felt (and think), that he was trying to rip me off. It just felt really wrong. And I told him this.I tried anyway to pay for the amount with my card, so that I could get my car back. But then he would not accept my card over the phone, saying he "didn't trust [me]". Also said that he needed an email from me giving him permission to charge $325.I called my credit union immediately and inquired about disputing the charge, asked whether I was supposed to give a business permission thru email. The technician at my credit union said no, just state what I am disputing.Soon after this debacle began, another person from the Pro Transmission called me. She gave me her email address, which I replied by email, stating I did not agree with the amount, but that I am being forced to pay for nothing, in order to get my car back. Minutes later she read her email and said that would not do. Again, I tried reasoning with this person, to no avail. She was absolutely no help whatsover.Very much a problem for me. As for one thing I needed my car to drive to work. And the fact that I am a senior citizen, I felt taken advantage of. It was sickening to say the least.An hour later my mechanic in L.A. sent his tow guy, who called Pro Transmission, and they informed him he would not be able to take my car from their premises.This began to really inconvenience me, as I then had to take the next day off work to go down to Pro Transmission, pay $325 to the smelly receptionist, so that I could take MY CAR!My reliable, smart, professional mechanic in L.A. got me a used transmission for $1,200. And since this took more than 1 day to repair, he paid for me to stay in a nearby motel. As I had no transportation of my own at that time, and I live far away from his shop. He also bought me lunch and dinner on both days. He went above and beyond for me, his paying long time customer, in order to help.(which is much more than I can say about Michael and the employees at Pro Transmisson).I think the proverbial icing on the cake for Pro Transmission was that their receptionist literally smells as if she has not bathed in months. I could smell her body odor as I stood on the other side of the counter. It was nauseous.They also state that they are a 'family' business, and they quote bible verses in their email signatures. I think they are hypocrites, ripping people off and pretending to be Christians.If I could I would not give this shop a rating, but maybe a minus 10. Worst nightmare ever.

I told my mom (Anna) that this place seemed like a great place based off the reviews. Let me tell you these people are amazing they fixed the transmission to our 2012 Kia over a month ago and the car is still doing great just passed it smog test. They were incredibly kind to my mother and sympathetic to our situation they even gave her a ride home. They worked quickly we would have gotten our car a day earlier than we did but our phone number was incorrect but never the less I would highly recommend them.Service: Transmission
