Worst service ever! Messed up my car and did not take accountability. I called just to ask if he could recheck the problem and he started screaming at me that he did nothing to my car. Then said he told me he was fixing something that HE DID NOT TELL ME about. I took my car for one simple thing but left with something additional messing up. He goes on to say, I told you I was fixing this too. Which he did not, because if he did, I would ve told him that that has been broken on my car since the day I purchased it 5 years ago. I simply called being nice just to see if he could look at it again and would have paid if anything else was wrong, but apparently he knew he was guilty because he immediately started denying something I didn t even accuse him of. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and was yelling at me from the top of his lungs! I am a woman. This was not called for. I wanted to take my car to the same person to avoid being scammed but apparently Jim is the scammer. Very poor business. To avoid any problems go elsewhere.

Went in and nicely asked if they can take a look at a leak on my car. The man who was sitting in his chair not doing anything said he probably doesn t have time to take a look today. Said to come back Monday. I went to another place and all I had to do was pop my hood and right away they told me what was wrong. I just think when you go to a mechanic the least they can is take a look. I would have 100% had them fix it if they had taken a look.

I work about a mile from here. When I got off work, I noticed my undercarriage splash guard was dragging on the floor. I was scared to drive on the freeway with it dragging. It was about 5pm, every auto shop in the area was closing and I desperately went in after visiting 3 other places, and they were able to help me out. They pinned the dragging piece and replaced the plastic screws at no charge. The technician (tall, slender, caucasian man) noticed my tire pressure light was on and took the initiative to put air. Extremely kind and compassionate staff. I opted to tip him due to the service and level of professionalism in my time of desperation.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was calling around to ask for quotes about a broken wheel stud/lug nut. When I went to call this business and ask how much the repair would cost the owner responded I don t know however long it takes me. Super unprofessional, thank god I called first before wasting my time here.

Love this place always. Good customer service and always feel welcomed. And robert is a stright to the point kinda guy. If u need service check them out. Highly recommended

Solved my problem in a couple of hours, check engine light gone, Temperature no longer too high to drive. Jim is very friendly and helpful, waiting for me after business hours to pick up my Honda! Thanks a lot!

Great service! I was able to get my 2000 Ford Ranger in right away and got it back same day at a reasonable rate! I needed immediate help and had gone to two other shops, both of which couldn t even look at my truck, when I arrived at Otwell s. Mr. OTWELL helped me personally and had his mechanic verify what he thought, then gave me a reasonable price and promised it would be ready in a few hours! He even came to my home and picked me up when it was ready!

Talked with Mike. Got the best quote and best quality. Nice clean work area. Great customer service and friendly. They did my oil change fast. I am overall very satisfied and happy that I came here. Amazing service. Otwell is extremely generous, and there are NO HIDDEN FEES! The prices of the parts and labour is 100% honest. I replaced my radiator fan because it was extremely loud and embarrassing. They were fast! They were also honest with the price before they began working on the car. You pay after the car has been serviced, at least I did. I will be going again for any of my other car needs! And talk about a Batman fanatic! Honestly, the worst experience I have ever had from any mechanic. Extremely unprofessional. Jim the owner is a complete scam artist...he will not back his work one bit. As soon as I pulled off the lot my truck broke down again. They told me to take it to the dealer..so I did and I ended up having to replace everything Otwell s did so I went back to Otwell s trying to get back at least my parts money because Otwell s did not follow the correct procedure for fixing my truck..Jim would not back his work even though the problem was plain as day and it was his fault..do not go to this place...I ve never experienced someone not backing the warranty. If I could give it zero stars I would..Service: Engine repair

Be aware it seems like the owner of this company has a chip on his shoulder from the minute I walked in. I was just asking him some simple questions about my car and he was very vague and unfriendly to say the least. I have a feeling he was trying to rip me off and get his foot in the door by getting my car in there and getting a signature right away and blowing me off I would never use this company. Do your homework before you sign on the dotted line on this one.

I reached out to a performance shop looking to upgrade my suspension system on my 06 Crown Vic LX. They recommended that I contact Otwell s so I did. Jim Otwell to the time to research the parts and make recommendations on how to improve the suspension for my application. He did the work and I couldn t be happier with the results!! Mr.Jim is honest and has integrity. It's fixed right the first time and in the off chance it's not, just call him and he will fix it! Ottwells is the only shop I'll let work on my vehicles besides myself. I visited for their oil change special and keep going back because they do a good job. I've had brakes done, valve cover gasket, control arms, starter, sway bar links, and several oil changes. My car is 17 years old, 245k miles.

Been going for 5 yr and today they dropped one of my.24 wheels guy was it did not fall after.he picked it up i went to the owner and said did not happen in his shop as I seen it happened. Wheel is all marked up since it aluminium clear coat. Lost a customer, just beware

Great and friendly service, replaced tires and balancing. Good quality job & good price. Btw first comment is funny, 'dustin' they must have time to even work on your vehicle get there earlier id make more sence.

Got a price to bleed my breaks and they try to charge me 130$ and on top of that they we're rude about it.Go across the street 60$ bucks and they we're polite. Over price and rude don't go there
