I have been going to Oscar's shop since 2021. He does great work on my Jeep. I had to bring my car back a few times for him to get the battery light off. He ended up fixing it and discounted for the multi trips. That was cool and why I am giving 2 stars.However, after servicing my BMW I am truly disappointed.1.Thy told me they put oil dye in my car for leak detection and they did not.2. Failed to mention my ac belt was not on when they were already replacing my water pump. (I ended up having to buy tools myself and put it in to get some cold air)3. Did not even clear engine codes when returning the car to me. I had to go back inside and ask him to get the mechanic.I bought a UV light and have found nothing after my car has been leaking oil in my drive way... I called Oscar at the shop to confirm if they did . And Oscar told me they DID add oil dye on the phone. Not sure if he lied because I bought and added engine dye myself and saw results the next day.It's disappointing when I spend my hard earned money and I'm feeling like my service was rushed/ or half a**.

Unlike the Dealers at the Auto Center, i don't feel like ive paid more than was needed to fix the repair.Ive got confidence in McNair's for dealing sqpuare with me.

Let me tell you my experience, first time here. Greeted with respect and the utter most customer service. This is a place where the customer matters and is not put on the back burner like Buds Tire shop down the street !!!Hands down to Oscar knows what it s like to treat and provide grade A service..Thank you Oscar!! I didn t even have to wait that long like most tire shops.Thank you

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to this place! From the get-go they were clear, professional and communicative. From the moment I walked in the vibe I received was trust worthy. Got to the issue of what was wrong with our car and fixed it in a timely manner. Definitely recommend them.Thank you!

I decided to take my sons jeep there based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend making an appointment as they were always busy which is a good thing. Tim was great. Honest, professional, and a straight shooter. Quick quality work at an honest price, what more could you ask for. Good, Fast and Cheap. They say you can only get two out of the three. They clearly haven't been to McNair's Auto Repair. Great job, done quickly and at a fair price. The best mechanic I've been to in years.

Honest, straightforward service from Kevin and the guys. "We advise, you decide" is their motto. That rings true every time! I have an older car that is starting to nickel and dime me. I had it towed on a Sunday far past my AAA miles just to get it to McNair's after breaking down on the freeway. I could've had it taken somewhere else cheaper, but it's all about trust. I've never felt pressure to get something fixed when they've noticed it (when other shops would try to exaggerate to get the upsale). I always ask if it's a safety issue and they are honest about whether something can or can't wait to be fixed. It's nice to know there are still good places out there. Kevin likes blueberry bagels in case you need an "in."

Tim at McNair's needs to take classes in customer service to start. This business has no flexibility when it comes to offering it's customers with options to getting your car serviced. No appointments at all and no guarantees even if you show up when they open. This a huge inconvenience for normal people who work normal hours. It's really sad that this business takes the customer out of customer service. I know a thing or two about customer service since that is my profession. I highly recommend that anyone with any common sense to stay far away from this business.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

Thank u so much Tim! Woah what a week i had, i think i complained about 100 times but still u were so polite and honest and professional! This was my second visit and both times made me feel so comfortable and everything turned out wonderful! The breaks sound great! Thanks for letting me and my doggy be able to drive to a nice hike today! Ill be back for that oil change !

TERRIBLE. My friends and family have given this place more than enough chances over the past 15 years and again and again they just continue to have LOUSY service and the worst communication. Whenever you call to check on your vehicle (because they won t call YOU) it s always Oh yeah it s ready now or we were just about to call you! . Please. You literally made things worse and replaced a mechanism for the brakes that was FAULTY. AFTER you said it was good to go. How are you still in business?Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Brakes, Brake service & repair

They always take of you here, my family has used McNair's since they opened up and I know that they have a new owners. But they still have the same great service.

Tim and the guys are awesome and very professional i had a bad fuel pump on my ford f150 same day service ready just a couple hours after drop off. new to the area and this is for sure going to be the mechanic shop i recommend highly. service with a smile. Thanks guys!!

At first I tried to setup an appointment on their website, but I later realized it is easiest to just call. Once I did, Tim was helpful, and they provided fast service. I also appreciated that they called me to keep me updated and let me make decisions. Good service at a decent price.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Being a single woman I was pretty skeptical of repair shops, I've been taken advantage of by many unscrupulous business. I was new to Riverside and saw McNair's auto repair and I am so grateful. I took the cham e with them.The cost was reasonable and the staff outstanding. I refer everyone who complains about needing a repair to McNair's. I will continue to take my car to McNair's and refer people to them. Dont change a thing guys and you have a customer for life.

Tim was great! I had the power brake booster and master cylinder replaced and couldn't be happier with the job that they did. I would highly recommend Mcnair's. Very professional and clean.

Came in on a windy day, Basic Oil Change. The staff was very kind and attentive. Super fast (the wind kept people away) and very happy with my service. I will definatly be back. Thanks McNair's!

Mc Nair's makes the automotive repair experience as comfortable possible. They give honest recommendations based upon what you truly need. While others seem to make up items, repairs and only interested in their bottom line, they always work as though they put the customer first. Communication and fair pricing is one of their strongholds as a successful auto repair shop. Highly recommend Mc Nair's!!!

Bring Kevin back. This new guy Sergio is a straight thief in plain cloths. Came in today to get my car looked at because of excessive shaking on drives side at hwy speed was told that I needed a whole new lower control arm and new wheel housing unit done all totaling $800-900 but after going to mechanic around the corner from my hse they fixed the problem and said all that was wrong was that the control arm was juss loose and needed tightening and threw in a alignment for $100. Nuff said. It s a Damb shame too I been coming there 3yrs up until today ,serviced 4 different family vehicles ,and recommended them countless times but after today s eye opening experience I can comfortably say that my business relationship with this once affordable and very honest shop

Wow! I dont have enough words to describe the kindness Tim did for me! Was fast, efficient ,kind and didnt do like what most mechanic companies do.. upsell you. Thank you Tim and staff for your hard work and putting us on priority during an emergency. Highly recommend this mechanic repair shop! Thank you

Great place highly recommend I've taken my business here more than once and the owner was personable and did everything he could to have the job done. If you need an honest Mechanic shop where you don't have to talk through bull and feel like you'd be ripped off, take your vehicle here.

Amateurs! Such a rip off! They claimed that they vacuum tested my trucks ac, but it leaked out within 24 hours because they missed a line that wasn't hooked up. Buyer beware! These guys will charge you for a failed job and then try to charge you to fix the problem after they've already gouged you for the first job they couldn't complete.

I called to see if i could get my car checked out and rhe guy i talked to on the phone seemed very nice and said coeme early to get it chcked...well i drove over there and the guy that i talked to was rude n seemed like he didn't want to help at all ...i showed up at 730 and hw told me there was like 5 cars ahead of me ...i didnt see anyone waiting and i kno it doesnt take that long to test drive or put on a computer . the guy was jus lazy and didnt want to help me probably because i didn't look like i had money....what a shame that people are like that....
