Been there many times, which in itself, should say something. Always polite, friendly has never been shady. Highly recommend them.

Smog !! Terrible service from the smog tech Elias . Went twice to have re check I paid $80 for a smog because tech did not scammed the car to see if it was ready for smog but he did mention after it was not ready only to charge more . my dammm gps took me by mistake f___k it luck I guessss haha . Anyways and tech kept my registration card also but didn t admit too it . Don t waste ur hard $$$ here is a money pit . Lots of homes less people taking battery s to sell the then !!! Just terrible

Honest people with good prices and a great work ethic. I needed a new radiator and they did it for a quarter the price the dealership was going to charge. I figured it would take a couple of days, but they told me that it should be done within a few hours, had my car the same day in working condition. I'm writing this review ~4 months later and the car is running with no problems since the repair.

I don't know how many times I passed Tim Auto Repair(formally Frank's Auto Repair) before they were recommended to me by another shop, but I'm glad they did. Tim & Abbott are two of the most hard working, knowledgeable and honest guys' I ever met. They replaced the motor mounts on my GLK350 and did a great job for a very fair price. They took over their father's business after his passing and are continuing his legacy of honest, reliable, friendly service. Can't say enough good things about how they took care of our car.

Hands down the best place to go! Had a few repairs from these guys. Awesome work and fair prices. Moved from Riverside and tried going to a different shop for repairs. NOPE! So I had my truck towed 41 miles to Frank's because I know they would do me right and they did. I will AWAYS bring my vehicles here to get worked on.

I have battled with my AC for months, refusing to relent to pay someone nearly over $100 just to open up my hood and take a look. I am so grateful a friend referred me to Frank's! The men there are nothing shy of gentlemen, and being a woman- that is highly important to my satisfaction as a customer. Their prices are fair, their timing is efficient, and their services are certainly up to par. I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't beleaguered for my money, a get-in-get-out formality. Instead I was treated with kindness, educated about my car's problem, and charged beyond reasonably.I highly recommend Frank's for any auto issue you may be experiencing without any hesitation!

Phillip was super nice. I caught his lights on WAY after hours, and he was willing to help me.If you are looking for someone who isn't wrapped up in the hustle and flow, this is your place. Very fair prices.NOTE: This is not a motorcycle shop, but he helped me by let me use his tools (for practically nothing.. it was really nothing) to tighten my chain, which had fallen off two blocks away.5 stars!!

Great job! They make this place lady friendly. I had took my car to 3 different places. Philip found my problem with in a few minutes and the cost was less then I already paid. I had .I was tire and ready to junk my car. thanks Frank's repair shop on magnolia in Riverside ca

Franks Auto Repair is truly a one stop shop! They've helped me with a bunch of services from oil changes, a blown gasket, and automotive electrical/wiring (which is rare). They're always willing to help and educate their customers all while offering great prices and quick turn around times. I highly recommend them for all your auto needs. A+++

Frank was an awesome dude. Took my 2014 Jeep Wrangler and was quick with the quote and the problem. He did not disappoint. He knew what he was doing. I can now tell the homies that I have a mechanic now. I'm never taking my jeep to the dealership again. He fixed what I needed for half the dealers price.

In just got my car service today. I was very pleased with the service. I saved alot of money. Three other shops to me a. It was my valves and lifters when it only needed spark plugs.

Brought my car there three times. First time they said one of the sensors wasn't set yet so i had to drive it another 100 miles. That wasn't their fault obviously, but I brought my car back another two times and each time they kept saying their machine was not working. Had to go somewhere else in the end.

Nice honest work, they will find the problem you're having with your vehicle and fix it for a fair price. They were awsome and honest and won t try to charge you for things you don't need, so I would say this is the place to go

My family and I had a day planned to head to the beach on our only day off together, I started my day to pay for my registration at 8 in the morning to take it to this place for a smog. I got to Franks location by 10:45 lefted at 10:50 and waited at home for nearly 2 hours and finally got a call saying there computers are down and it would be another 45 mins, so I got a little bothered and rudely he told me he was doing me the favor and that if I did not want to wait I could come pick it up.... Wow!!! Never again with Frank! I'll take my business elsewhere. No wonder why this place never has a steady traffic of business.

The guys come off as rough around the edges but if you only need a quick smog and don t particularly care about niceties then come here and they ll swallow you in and spit you out with their quick turn around . I was done in 15 min . Try it . $60 2006 Toyota RAV4... your price may vary .

Very helpful. Didn't just smog me and take my money. He let me know that my car wasn't gonna pass smog and referred me to a mechanic who could fix my problem.

Overcharge for a smog check. And if it fails. They want to charge $40 for a re check.Most places give a free recheck or at least half of regular price.

Been going here for the past 15 years, he knows his sh.........t, he a master at his craft, fast, professional, polite, and very inciteful. That one dude with the bad post is a hater...cuzz he didnt pass smog and didnt have the resources to get it right. He fair and stright up...he said to me "all u need is a new Cat converter and u would pass"..took his advice retested and passed

Slow, rude, not upfront with fees and every other smog place I have gone to they have the decency to tell you if the car is ready to be tested, or they will ask to run the car longer, no such thing here and they will charge 30 more to run it again, forget this place.
