I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at Ben Clymers, particularly in my interactions with Alex Jaimes.Recently, I brought my vehicle to your establishment for repairs after it was damaged by a towing company. Mr. Jaimes assisted me in obtaining an estimate for the repairs, during which he informed me that authorization from my insurance adjuster was necessary. Upon contacting my adjuster and receiving approval for the repair of the back door, I was shocked to learn that Mr. Jaimes refused to adjust the estimate accordingly.Even more concerning was Mr. Jaimes's insistence that I pay out of pocket for the repairs and color matching, claiming that a new estimate would only be provided once the car was in the repair process. This practice is both misleading and unacceptable, as I have never encountered such a requirement in any previous dealings with automotive repair services.Furthermore, I was appalled to discover that someone from Ben Clymers contacted my insurance adjuster, falsely stating that I had agreed to pay out of pocket. This not only caused unnecessary confusion but also resulted in my adjuster feeling misled and frustrated by the misinformation provided by your establishment.Despite multiple attempts to reach out and clarify the situation, I received no response from Mr. Jaimes or any other representative from Ben Clymers. The lack of communication and disregard for customer concerns only added to my disappointment and frustration with your company.In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed by the deceptive practices and poor customer service I experienced at Ben Clymers. It is my hope that you will take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that other customers do not encounter similar treatment in the future.Recently, I had the opportunity to interact with your establishment, and while my experience was less than satisfactory, I noticed a pattern in your follow-up procedures. It seems that Ben Clymers only takes the time to solicit reviews from customers who provide them with a rating of 5 stars. Unfortunately, this practice neglects the valuable feedback from customers who may have rated their experience lower or left a negative review.As a customer who believes in the importance of constructive criticism and transparency, I find this approach to be disheartening. Every customer's experience, regardless of their rating, should be acknowledged and respected. By only seeking feedback from those who give high ratings, Ben Clymers may be inadvertently disregarding opportunities for improvement and failing to address areas of concern that could ultimately enhance customer satisfaction.I urge you to reconsider this selective review solicitation practice and instead embrace feedback from all customers, regardless of their rating. The only body shop I would ever trust our cars with. My wife s car had a rock kick up from the road and ding the fender on her brand new Mercedes GLS580. Ceasar, and the team at Ben Clymer s in Riverside made our new car look new again. Great customer service, great results. Kept us informed on everything throughout the repair, and the price was great!

My insurance company recommended Ben Clymers body shop to me and it took 5 weeks to get an appointment to bring my vehicle in. I was concerned that after waiting 5 weeks to bring it in but was told that once I was in the shop it would be done in appropriate 2 weeks. Nearly 5 months later and stories about waiting for parts I received my vehicle, is this the way a business should run? My contract with the shop wasn't very professional and aggressive on the phone there is no excuse for this. I did receive a call from the shop manager and he was very courteous and apologized for my poor service and treatment.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting

Ben Clymer s The Bodyshop in riverside is one of the best repair shops.. Amazing customer service. They made this process very simple & easy for my family. This is the quality of work I received from Ben Body Shop. You would assume they do body work for a living and expect them to put the car back together better then before but this is very troubling. I dropped off my car on Tuesday, after 4th of July. It was expected to be finished by the Friday of that week but I got a call from them and I was told the paint work failed inspection. So they kept the car over the weekend until next Monday (totally fine with that because I expected good quality work). When I got the car it looked OK. When I reached home, I doubt checked all their work and man, I was disappointed! The bumper is half sagging, bunch of screws and bolts missing, clips not properly put back and I specifically asked them to save the bumper supports and they told me they would. Guess what, nowhere to be found.

Really Honest! I went here 3x and everybody was Very Knowledgeable, Professional and the Quotes were completely in alignment with other vendors. BUT I just feel safer and respected here. I thoroughly recommend Corrine! She is Pretty Awesome! Thank you, Ben Clymer's for making me have something Good to say! :)

Took care of my paint scratches with no issues at all. They handled it quickly and the service was great. Craig Sturm was the guy who help me out. Look at the pictures of my scratches - he killed it! Also has a mobile service so he can take care of you on-the-go for stuff like this or if you can't come out to Ben Clymer's for the fix.Service: PaintingService: Painting

Anthony Arellano was the collision consultant that kept me updated on the work on my Honda Ridgeline. He did an excellent job. Twice a week he reported the progress and delays due to part deliveries.The work done on the repairs was also excellent. This is the 2nd time Ben Climer's has worked on my truck. I would not hesitate to recommend them in the future.

I was sideswiped from my right front fender all the way to my rear quarter panel. And in about a week and a half Not only was the car repaired painted but ready to go. Alex from Ben clymer's always sent me updates on my car and never hesitated to answer any questions or take any of my phone calls. If you need work done in the riverside area I highly recommend Ben Clymers

I m a satisfied and happy client. Such friendly staff and great quality. Cesar kept me updated on every detail of my car, they got my repairs done fairly quickly. They even managed to work around my schedule; so they are flexible. Didn t let anything get unnoticed, they pay attention to every single detail. Lets not forget to mention that the location is clean as well. Quick service as well. Overall a great experience with them and would definitely recommend.

My car was hit and scraped all along the driver's side, my insurance sent me to Ben Clymers, where the staff were very friendly and professional with me, they gave me a decent time frame of when my vehicle would be ready and would send me updates of my vehicle's progress. When I got my car back it looked brand new, Thank you Ben Clymers

Brought in my previous vehicle a couple of times after separate collisions. First time went well in 2017. Second time they misplaced a part and it took them a week to find it in 2019, as they placed it in the trunk of another car in the shop. I was patient and positive. Representative gave me a $300 vip card to use towards a future visit. February 2023 I brought in another vehicle and presented the card to use towards my deductible. I was told it was no longer accepted. They asked why the card was given to me, so I explained the service recovery issue from 2019. Manager said something along the lines of, well you ended up getting your vehicle fixed even if it did take the extra week. Thank you Captain Obvious, but the experience is part of the result as well. Offered me $100 instead of $300 and said the program expired 4 years ago (when they gave it to me?) so they are collecting the cards and destroying them. I explained that s not sufficient; he said then it won t work out. Guess not. I ll go pay my full deductible elsewhere as opposed to working with a group that pulls back their previous service recovery efforts. I didn t even ask for the card when they gave it to me; they said they appreciated my patience and good attitude and were thanking me for being a valued customer. Some thanks in the end, huh? They ve given me a good reason to not recommend them. 2 if you count the service recovery fail from 2019.Service: Body & Trim

They treated me like family! Very professional and honest shop. The manager has exceptional customer service skilla and really takes care of you. The worse experience, my car was hit on the drivers quarter panel, was not expecting my car to have front end took apart , interior,they gutted my car so they could charge insurance for work they didn't perform. 3 months later they still can't finish something that it would of took 1 week at most .Services: Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioningServices: Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioning

I was highly recommended to Ben Clymer's and after visiting 3 other bodyshops I chose to use them. Immediately I began to get red flags when I called to schedule a drop off appointment time and when I received the email I was scheduled at another location miles away.I called and spoke to someone that corrected the location but failed to send me confirmation after verbally saying she would. The member that wrote the estimate was suppose to be available to communicate and care for my Camry was at lunch, even though I had specifically requested that he be available because of the discussion we had. A rental car pickup was waiting, so I sign the document for tear down and ask that the staffer that gave the estimate and the staffer that would be responsible for repairs give me a call when they returned from lunch. I didn't get a call that afternoon at 1pm until close or any contact until I called the following day. I was told that the staff member that wrote the estimate and made verbal commitment would not have made them because it was against company policy. I spoke to the manager and he also assured me that the staffer would not have made the commitment because he has known him a long time. I ask for the owner's number and I was told it was impossible to speak with the owner. I ask to speak with someone higher than the manager and the manager said he would have the Gm call me. I never received a call and at this point I knew what a horrible business decision I had made. At this piont with them in possession of my car I only wanted them to complete the work satisfactory. Fast forward from 11/02/22 to 11/16/22 of what supposed to be 5 business days. I received a call stating that they were completing the repairs and my car would be ready for pickup this evening. I informed them that I was having cataract surgery and I will let them know when I could pick my car up. On 11/18/22 I called to inform them that I would be picking up my Camry within an hour or two, I told they would complete the camry by washing and cleaning the inside. When I arrive I was greeted by the receptionist who notified the staff and returned wanting me to sign document without seeing my Camry. When my Camry was presented the door panel was loose next to window. The vehicle was delivered without being detailed. I was told that was extra, the shop doesn't detail the rest of the car to match the fresh paint.My hope is to notify the general public and that the hands of God will visit these forces of the darkness.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I've had work done in the past and was pleased with their work. They're nice, friendly, the place is clean, and they repaired my truck in 3 days instead of 5.They are very accommodating, and you can tell they value their customers. Their repair work is very satisfactory. I hope I have no more fender benders, if so, this is my place of choice, and I appreciate that they followed the Covid rules.

Is there a ----0---star??? Terrible service! My mom took the car for insurance inspection/evalulation... they ended up fixing the car without the approval, they won't release the car unless she pays out of pocket.. I even called and spoke to Holi a couple of days after the car was in the shop to make sure nothing was being done since my mom is only on retirement check, she assured me nothing was to be done unless they got the OK from the insurance. 2 days later the car was ready and she owed $1500, of course per Vince, the guy that "serviced" my mom she had agreed to pay for the repairs and they need to keep the car until she pays!! Please stay away from this business!! They don't give you the right information, and then you as customer are responsible for their mistakes! Taking advantage of a 72 year old widow with the "I didn't talk to you, I talked to your mom and she signed" excuse is disgusting!
