Love these guys and girls. Friendly fast and honest. If somethings not right they will fix it. I've been here several times and have no complaints.

I have been going to J&E now for a few years and I cant say enough about this shop and the family that run it. They have taken great care of all mey vehicle especially my Jeep.I recently blew my engine and J&E worked with my warranty company to get my engine replaced, along with a new manifold, radiator, water pump, 2.5 inch suspension lift, both axles rgeared, trussed, gussets, steering, tie rods, sway bars, wheels, tires wheel bearing assembly and I cant say enough about the turn around and what an excellent job they performed.I would highly recommend any vehicle but if you are a Jeep owner looking for a team who knows how to work on Jeeps for upgrading go talk to Enrique and Ernesto they will dial you in... .Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Oil change

J&E Auto is amazing! I mainly worked with Enrique, and I am forever grateful for his amazing service and kindness. My catalytic convertor was stolen a few months ago and after that was repaired, J&E got me set up with a cage. Everyone at the shop is very professional and treats you like family. It's so rare to find such kind and knowledgable people these days. I highly recommend J&E. Had a very good experience at J&E Automotive recently. Dashboard light was on and I knew the problem was an O2 sensor. But a diagnostic test showed two O2 sensors were bad. And that the camshaft sensor needed to be replaced as well. Was already in for replacement of the driver side window regulator. Took a few days.Now dash light is off (this time I hope for good) and fuel mileage has improved. Plus being able to hit a button and watch the driver window lower and raise is awesome. (And great for air flow.)Really pleased with the repair work by J&E and its willingness to work with me. May return to get transmission work done later (slipping gears) (old car).Oh. Almost forgot. Enrique got the mechanic to etch the car's VIN on the . Real nice.

I have a 1987 Grand national . this is not your normal car , I had the motor rebuild by J & E and the motor failed , it was one after another . I was refunded . I gave them 4 stars because of the afford and customer service . They did well with my transmission , AC unit completely flushed and replaced . I will be doing more business with them . Give them shot ,I believe you will be please .Services: Transmission repair, Auto maintenance

Had a great experience with this shop today, I went in for a simple oil change and they were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They brought to my attention that a part from my engine was starting to leak a small amount of oil and would need to be addressed at some point. They weren't pushy to fix it at all and just mentioned it to me as something to be aware of. Would highly recommend bringing your vehicles to these guys for work, I know I will be doing so again.

I brought my car in sounding better than when they returned it to me . on top of receiving about 4 calls back to tell me a new isssue and how much more would be added on to my total . it started at $700 and ended at $1800. They gave me my car back with a check engine light which was not there when I brought it in and the guy asked me on the phone if I had any lights on which there were none. I have my receipt and the phone call recorded , when they returned my car I told the guy first thing my light was not on when I took my car and he swore he drove it inside when I watched a different worker drive my car into the shop and THERE WAS NO LIGHT AT ALL!!. I have been talking to lawyer to see what we can do about my car my money or this faulty shop.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My wife and I both drive European imports and after a fantastic first experience for her car, this is now our go to shop. The family run business clearly cares about their work and their customers. They always take the time to price out suggested services or parts options for approval and make sure you understand work that should be done now versus work that can be done in the future. I highly recommend this shop for any vehicles and services.

These guys are the best! I have been going to them for about 3years and have never had anything but fast quality service. Weather it be a major repair, like the changing of a master cylinder, or small fixes they will get you in and out with the job done right the first time.

Didn't get any service here but met a seller of the van i now have at this place. But, they were cool enough to allow us to do the deal in their huge garage & even printed out a bill of sale for us! While there got to look at some of the custom work these guys do & i have to say, they're pretty damn good!

This is a long overdue review A couple of months ago (around September 2018) I was having issues with my car accelerating and my check engine light had turned on. They were able to fit me in the very next day and keep my car one day to evaluate the car and test drive it. They said that the fuel injectors. Enrique is the who answered my calls and was very swift about how he was able to help me in the most professional manner.They later evaluated my car and also mentioned the I needed to replace the clutch kit soon. But as long as I stayed driving local I was ok. I landed a job that requires me to commute from Richmond to San Rafael and it wore out my clutch kit pretty bad. So I called them again and told them that I needed to replace it immediately along with the dirty metal that was messing up the kit to begin with and literally showed me the parts in my car so I know they weren't bs'ing me like I feel most places do. That took away my skepticism right away and for just being overall friendly during the while experience made it so it wasn't stressful. I will be coming back for any future problems my car is dealt with.

Great and fast service from this place. Went there with a myriad of steering issues and they troubleshot their way to fixing my car perfectly. Great service. Will definitely go back and tell my family, friends and co-workers to go there as well.

I only trust javier and his workers with my prius. I recommended my best friend with his two cars and also my brother with his corvette to come here strictly! Best in Richmond, I travel down from sac whenever my car needs something

Wow Javier and Enrique helped me - ny van was broken into and busted my ignition. They have a huge shop, all of their staff is highly professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions. I will definitely go back! Mucho mucho gracias!

They replaced a lot of parts.New belts, new radiator cap which caused a pressure leak problem which wasn,t there before. Estimate kept lepy going higher and higherFixed original problem but then car failed smog cause timing was thrown off from changing all those belts (which car didn't need. ) What a headache. I do not recommend.

Javier and his son Enrique are excellent customer servicemen. Their knowledge of automobiles is unsurpassed. In fact, my mom followed Javier from his old shop to his present location.

This place is a lie I brought my Monte Carlo to this place a few years ago been meaning to write a review the guy seemed to be nice and honest but that was a fake cause they were suppose to do a fuel pump and they did and my gauge stop working so I didn t know how much gas to put in so I brought it back he fixed it then I my car started messing up again I brought it back something else was wrong so they claimed they fixed it I paid them and when it messed up again I went somewhere else and the other place said they never fix the problem they fixed it and I had no other issues this place is the reason why I don t trust mechanics you have to be careful when dealing with people cause mechanics can seem nice and honest but some just be out for the money so you can keep coming back
