At this point I m done buying tires at this Costco. It is our 4th set from them and the problem is always with service. They just don t seem to be motivated or care. 1.5 hours to fix a nail when I was on time for the appointment. No more. I ll go back to where we used to get our tires. There cost a little more but they treat you like they want your business. Costco tire does not care about the customer.

Best prices on tires and an install around, with the peace of mind that Costco gives customers on every purchase (for tires, there's a 30 day reutnr policy, so take-em up to mountains and make sure they work like you want). This tire shop is often booked for over a week out, so make sure you plan ahead of time.But if you can't schedule that far ahead, they will accommodate walk-ins on the day-of. If they have the tire you want in stock, drop off your car as soon as they open and they will fit the tires as they have availability. They usually let 2-4 people do this a day, but understand that it's not quick, they just work on it as people are late or when there are no-shows.

I got four new tires and the TPMS light came on the next day. I went back and they said my TPMS sensors are bad. I'm wondering if this will happen if I changed the tires at America's tire.

I keep calling but they never answers call probably so they don t get a walk in appointment. I just need to fix my car tire and buy a new tires cause they have tires available like what I had in my car but I guess this Costco Tire Center is suck .

Worst customer service. This place used to be better, but now I'll never return. Went for a seasonal tire exchange - you know, changing my winter/snow tires for summer tires. When I purchased my tires in the fall I was told this would be a free service, just like a tire rotation. I checked in today and they charged me $50. Then, they called to tell me they wouldn't do the replacement because both sets were all-weather tires (yes, they're in fact the exact same tire model, the snow tires have more / newer tred and the summer tires have more wear). Of course, it took me hours to get the message because they called and left a voicemail on my home number (yes, I still have one of those) instead of the cell number (THAT THEY SPECIFICALLY ASKED ME FOR WHEN I DROPPED OFF THE CAR). So, hours wasted, sitting around waiting for them to tell me they wouldn't even change my tires. They've lost my service, and we have 4 cars in our family that do a lot of driving. We're definitely going somewhere else from now on.

Set aside 3+ hours to wait, whether you have an appointment or not. Tire was installed inside out, had to bring it back and wait hours again. Tires seem indeed to be cheapest here, but when you add the cost of your time and frustration, it s probably one of the most expensive ways to replace tires.

Had a nail in my tire that was thankfully still under warranty, figured it'd be an easy fix. Called them, they told me I had an appintment in two days. My wife shows up at the time they gave me, and she's told nope, no appointment so she'd have to be a walk-in. She waited 4 hours waiting for them to call her before finally going up to the desk and finding out that the car had been repaired hours earlier. She noted that there were at least 4 or 5 other people similarly waiting in limbo in the food court for their supposed tire services. Really poor customer service and communication.

I was in store 3/10/21. Tires available but no appointments. Made appointment for 3/14/21. 9 am I am second person in line. 4 technicians expected. I was told one hr wait. 1045 am no courtesy call as I circle inside Costco..I approach salesman.Technicians arrived late do to time change? No excuse. There were plenty of employees in the store on time, it appeared.. We all know cell phones automatically change the time even if he phone is off. Who uses and electronic alarm clock these.days? I am truly disappointed by the poor customer service and unprofessional customer service at the tire center. I am offered a complimentary smoothie at 11 am. Really? My car was completed at 11:10 am I sat out on a bench watching techs socialize around my car . I truly regret not going to America's Tires. America's Tires offer competitive price match and will get you out the door in one hour if you have made an appointment.

Good deals on tires. But had to take my Mini elsewhere for balancing, so not so great. More time, more money, another morning eaten.No decent waiting area except inside Costco. Wandering the store, sitting in the crowded food court, and walking around outside was pretty boring after 3.5 hours.Couldn't get an appointment so had to wait in line too.Got nice tires filled with nitrogen, so happy about that. Most likely will not repeat.

Came with a flat tire, I m a Costco Member and they wanted to charge me $16 just to inspect the tire even though I might needed to get new ones Why do I pay for a Costco Membership if they can t inspect and give me a definite price without charging me for something I can do for free(inspection) else where?! And to make my evening the sob look at me and said there s no free cake Btw, Calderon Quality Tires in SJ fixes flat tires including inspection for like 10 Bucks. I just didn t have time to go there earlier. Good try to rip me off Cc tires.

Made an appointment for a tire rotation and balance while I shopped. They said it would take 1.5hrs and that they would call me when it s done. I finished my shopping and waited by the tire center. Over 2 hrs later, no phone call I finally went up to the counter and asked when it will be done and it was already done. They said they called me and left a vm but never got a call. Frustrating.

Absolutely terrible here. The staff is completely incompetent and overtly rude, specifically the guy walking around in the white coat and his buddy at the front desk. I Paid a lot for top of the line tires (Michelin Pilot Sport) and after leaving Costco I felt my car immediately pulling to the right when getting on the highway, this has never happened since owing the car which I bought new and has around 40,000 miles on it. The idiot in the white coat tried telling me it was my fault for hitting a pothole (which did not happen) and/or this is just what happens when you put new tires on a car and I'll have to have my alignment adjusted. Have spoken to 3 reputable tire centers in the area all of which have told me that's complete nonsense. Also, my mpg dipped immediately which probably happened because within 3 days of driving my tire pressure light came on.. all 4 tires were underinflated. Costco is not willing to do anything to correct it. Stay far away from this place. Worth it to pay a little more and go somewhere that will do the right job.

Man, I was expecting the worst given how many bad reviews there are for this place.Not sure why, I had a great experience. Salvador and Rob took care of me. I made an appointment 2 or 3 days ago for 1 pm, I showed up, someone promptly greeted me, and we talked through my options for tires. What they had in stock matched what was listed online, so I knew exactly what to espect. I asked a bunch of questions, and they were very pleasant and answered them all. I left my car at 1: 15, at 2: 35 they called me and told me it was ready. They estimated ~90 mins, so no problems there. the tires I got were a good price comparable to anywhere else in the area, or tire rack. they have a five-year warranty, free rotation and rebalancing every 6000 miles, free flat repair, nitrogen fill, and the backing of the amazing Costco satisfaction policy.

If I could give 0 stars I would.I just called them to book an appointment for rotation/tire service. They asked if they could place me on a brief hold, to which I said "Sure, no problem"25 minutes later I've listened to at least 5 other customers be helped (hold was really just putting the phone down) and still nobody picks up.Hung up and called the Sunnyvale Tire Service center, who did not put me on hold and kindly scheduled me within minutes.Service here is horrible. If you're too busy to handle your phones then hire more staff or offer a callback service. Unacceptable.

Subpar experience. I am a Costco fan, which positively biases me but also gives me high expectations. I had a flat tire, so I paid to have it repaired. Turns out, the puncture was in the wall of the tire so I had to buy a new pair of tires at more than $400. Annoyingly, they still charged me for the tire repair which didn't occur, saying it "was non-refundable and covered the inspection." I am sure this is just following policy, but it is bad policy. This is particularly true when the customer buys new tires from you.Additionally, the checkout process took a bizarrely long time. I was the only person there, I just needed to pay and go, but ~15 minutes was spent shuffling paperwork before I received my one page receipt and no information about the services that come with buying tires from them.Also, the customer service experience was subpar. Generally unwelcoming and unhelpful communication between me and the person behind the counter. Additionally, when he couldn't find a piece of paperwork, he brought in the supervisor. The supervisor didn't acknowledge me and spoke in a frustrated/demeaning tone to his employee. Never good in front of the customer.The second star is only for what I must assume is a reasonable price from Costco.

Careful of this Costco. Not once, but twice they said "rotation is complete and you are good to go " when in fact the tires were marked by me and WERE NEVER ROTATED. I did this because of past reviews have stated such. The second time it happened I went back again and they only rotated two of my tires. When I checked Ruben about this matter, he made good on it ASAP.Service was polite, however I believe all these tire centers are overly busy. Please don't take short cuts with my family's lives and my pocket book. Good luck on your next tire rotation.

My car started shaking after I got my new tires. To find out my front lug nots were loose. Unsafe shop to go to. Or at least train your staff right

Contrary to other reviews my experience was good. I went in to order tires for my car and they were sent over and installed the next day as my tire size isn t a standard one. They were also able to put my tires on without doing damage to my plasti dipped wheels.

I went today in because one of my tyres was damaged! and I left the tyre there hoping they could help me patch it up. They called me back saying that it was unable to be patched but to my content they were more than happy to replace the tyres at basically no cost for a Pilot 4s which can be pretty pricey. The staff was great and all cooperative super awesome service. They did the service very fast as well and I was super lucky! Thank you to the crew that was there on 12/8/2019 near closing time!

This has been the most painless Tire repair ever. I took my car to a local tire repair shop in Mountain View and he said he needed to replace the entire tire. I did not believe him and I got my car here, they not only replaced my tire but topped off the other tires and fixed my wheel balance. Had to wait for an hour, but worth.

Great value. The cost to repair a flat tire and rebalance PD was only $15. It was significantly cheaper than any place else around here. My only complaint was that they were understaffed at the desk so the wait was longer than ideal. I hope they ve been able to staff more people since I was last there.

So happy to be a Costco member. Had a nail in one of my tires which made it keep leaking air. Went to Big O Tire down the street. They told me that it could not be repaired and tried to sell me new performance tires. Went to Costco and they repaired it for 11 bucks. Saved 700+. Awesome service from the staff.

They eventually fulfilled the services -- they did a good job, it was as specified, and it was a cost-effective option -- but communication was terrible. They almost never picked up the phone. They mislead me, saying the tires would arrive a certain day, but in fact they did not. I had to show up in person 5 times to straighten things out. Terrible

They stand by their warranty! Ran over a giant screwdriver that lodged deep into one of our tires. It was two years old, but had little enough wear that they replaced it for free, even though the replacement tire was more expensive. Definitely buying future tires here!

Prices are good, but service leaves much to be desired. Took over 2.5hrs for 4 tires, with no backlog of cars (i.e. I was in front). Lots of talking, lots of kidding around, not a lot of work. Be ready to take the afternoon off if you get your tires here.

This is the only place I purchase tires from over the past 20 years. maybe you can get a better price somewhere else but they really stand by their warranty. Sensors Costco's everywhere, if I ever have a tire problem all I need to do is go to the local store and get it fixed without question.

The tire center staff were quite friendly and helpful and my tire rotation and balancing were done quickly. The price was also quite fair especially considering that the tires on my car had not been purchased at Costco.

Had tires balanced and brake pads replaced in this location. Decent service however long wait on weekends, go earlier or later in the day a few minutes before opening/closing.
