Jose the manager told me my car was unrepairable he offered to buy it. I went to another shop that was able to fix the issues. I notice he does this often and resells for a higher cost after he repairs the vehicles at his home in Lawndale.

I called asking if I could come in 30 minutes before closing to get an oil change in. I understand these things take time but I was hoping that it could be possible since I was on a time crunch.The guy that answered the phone literally laughed at me. Not even joking, that was his response. A simple no would have sufficed.Awful customer service, if that s my first experience, won t be taking my vehicles here for anything.If the company owner sees this, check your phone logs at around 5:02pm on 12/28/23 and see who the moron was that answered the phone. Definitely needs some disciplinary action.

For all your needs call the shop manager his name is Val, very knowledgeable.There are 3 Expert technicians.They also have a shop vehicle for pick up and delivery of parts.Brought my vehicle in for repairs.Not only did it run better than it ever has Since I've owned it.They even Washed it And added paper floormats before I picked it up!Excellent location right on Catalina and PCH close to the ocean easy access.if you want your car done right Walton's is the place.Your car comes in clean it leaves clean!PSThey have 2 locations! this location Redondo Beach the other in PV...

I was struggling all day to find someone to quickly take care of my wheel arch panel that popped out on the freeway & screw it back in. They took me right away, provided great customer service & made me feel welcomed. Thank you again!

Walton's is the best mechanic I have ever been to. Very honest, even recommending I buy the part I needed on Amazon because it would be less expensive than if they bought it! In addition, they are very friendly. I recommend them to all my friends, especially women because they have never taken advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding cars as other places have.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I've been having trouble with my car battery, and they were able to diagnose the issue without ever charging me anything. Very trustworthy, they definitely had my best interests at heart! 10/10 would recommend!

Polite and prompt service. Stars deducted because of very high labor charges (three times what I paid for the same exact work at Hermosa Automotive!) and greasy hand prints left on vehicle when I picked it up.

We absolutely love Walton's. My very first trip there was about 4 years ago.After the battery died, my vehicle was having a strange difficulty clearing the emissions check process, and it would not pass smog. None of the other places I took it (including the dealership) were able to provide any clues or advice other than "you need to drive it more before it will clear". I'd driven it over 1k miles and was beyond frustrated (I'd even gotten a fix it ticket for driving with expired tags)I took it to Walton's and they had it for two days. The tech methodically went through a long 80 mile process where you need to drive in specific ways/speeds for specific amounts of time in an attempt to clear the codes. When that failed, they did further research and found a TSB and recall specific to my year and model/trim that even the dealer had failed to find.They called me in, showed me what was needed, and even printed the recall and TSB info to take to the dealership.For all of this work (which was an absolute minimum 3 hours) they charged me nothing.They earned my business and respect for as long as I live in Redondo Beach.

After being quoted what I knew was too much at the dealer, I took my car to Walton s to get their opinion and pricing. Talk about excellent customer service. I haven t taken my car in yet but I m already impressed.My needs were simple. Oil change and front/back rotor and pad replacement. I purchased my own parts and was just looking to take my car in and have someone work on it to save me some time.After calling 4 other shops and being turned away because I had purchased my own parts, I called Walton s and spoke to Val. Not only was he the most pleasant to speak with, but he was able to get me in next day.If you re in need of a place to take your car, your first and only call should be Walton's.

This place has been here quite a while... they have friendly staff who appear to be fairly skilled & they've never had any issue finding & fixing the problems i couldn't handle myself & more important to me is they've never tried to run a bill up on me... they just recommend things that you should be doing as preventative maintenance while they are already under your hood... they're not pushy like so many other places!

Val is a great guy. I've had a lot of weird problems with two cars and they've almost always had an answer. They provide excellent service and communicate well. I bought a used car with tons of problems from the start and they've helped it get practically good as new.

Walton's mechanic "Ken" did a fabulous job in rebuilding my engine for a 1979 Datsun 280zx. He took the entire engine apart, cleaned and refurnished worn parts and reassembled the engine. It runs like new now. Got a total clean bill of health for an advanced smog test required of older cars. Many thanks to Ken for great work. David GService: Engine repair

I have a 20 year old Tahoe with over 228k miles and I trust Walton s to keep it running. Always a good experience. If I don t understand what s wrong Val takes the time to explain it. I have used Walton's services twice now for my 2007Honda Accord and both times they have fixed my car quickly and at a very affordable price. They came to me highly recommended by my neighbors in the Riviera and my church pastor!

Was referred to Walton's by a friend. I am alway hesitant to go to a 'new' doctor and as a single woman, even more cautious when looking for a NEW MECHANIC (previously I always use dealership-when in warranty). Val, the manager, was extremely helpful and always available. Mike found issues with my 03 TBIRD that the overpriced FORD dealership failed to mention as well as what 'really' needed repair. Walton's diagnosis was much more in-depth & LESS COSTLY and.... MADE SENCE, even to me!Extremely fair pricing & QUALITY WORK makes Walton's top shelf in my book, I can't say enough about the personal care they showed and continue to exhibit to this gal.I have since had my Mini Van work done here and referred many friends to Walton's. THANK YOU GUYS! Now your stuck with me for life!

ou know when you are late and your day is a mess... Murphy's Law makes sure to lodge a nail in your tire just as you leave the driveway. I zipped down to Walton's, they plugged my tire, checked air pressure on all four, and I was on my way in under 10 minutes, for $25. Crisis averted. They were fast, super nice, and I am GRATEFUL. Thanks for helping me today, boys!

Very very disappointed in their uhaul service, Went to pickup the truck with 2 friends as I needed help with the item we were going to pick and the person who we were picking up from was also left hanging as I wasn't able to pick up truck, The online service said I won't be able to pickup from this location with the phone app and to come back later. I usually rent uhaul for my businesses but this experience had really disappointed me and caused me, my friends and a third party lots of hastle. Very bad experience

Walton's told me they needed to rebuild my transmission and quoted me $3900. I called a transmission place who quoted me $2500 so I took it there. Turns out I didn't need it rebuilt, I just needed the sensor replaced which cost $350.

These guys are great! They do wonderful work. My car runs so well after they do maintenance and repair. And they're close to where I live.
