If you're looking for a friendly, professional, and honest auto shop in the Inland Empire, Redlands Smog Shop is for you! I went in about 10 years ago for an oil change and since then, I have brought all my high-end vehicles from my Land Rover, my Mercedes, my Escalade, and my Audi RS 7 to have them serviced.The cost of repairing vehicles at Redlands Smog Shop is very affordable and as a long-time customer, I do not get charged for a few things out of courtesy. The quality of the work done on my vehicles ensures that the vehicles are always in excellent condition.I m always happy with my service because the owner is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. It s nice to have peace of mind, knowing everything is done correctly. I will continue going to this shop and encourage everyone else to try the Redlands Smog Shop on Redlands Blvd.

When it comes to car maintenance repairs, lam very picky on who touches my car. I've heard in town, Ricky is knowledgable and diligent with foreign cars. I took my Porsche Macan to Redlands Smog and Repairs for a full service: brakes, rotors, etc.The job was done right, and when I picked it up it felt brand new.I appreciate his and his staffs customer service & love to support a Redlands, family owned business.Thank you, will be sending my family to you.Services: Tires, Suspension/lowering & lift kits, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Brake service & repair, Vehicle maintenance

I took my car in a month agoWorkers were RUDE Standing around talking not asking How can I help you? (its a smog station) COME ON HELP ME PLEASEI pulled up in my car they pointed out DON'T PARK HERE EVEN POINTED AT HIS SIGN go park elsewhere I PULLED UP I NEEDED A SMOGI let them know he SD Go check in , I asked where? Over there kept conversating I asked where across the street he got IRRITATED I was interrupting his conversation (REALLY) with the other workers Place was hard to find with Gps I should of been IRRITATED for that. THEY SHOULD TELL U OVER THE PHONE WERE HIDDEN, PARKING SO SMALL shared parking NO signs where to park I DONT RECOMMEND THIS SMOG STATION THERE'S PLENTY OF OTHER SMOG STATIONS THAT WILL TREAT YOU NICE & ARE READY TO TAKE MONEY WITH A SMILE & WILL BE HAPPY TO SERVICE A CAR.THIS SHOP TRULY NEEDS A CLASS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE LEARN TO SMILE, & ACTUALLY HELP PAYING CUSTOMERS.THIS PLACE'S CUSTOMER SERVICE Attitude IS COMICAL WOW!

Told me on the phone they could smog vehicles older than 1999. Upon arrival stated that can't smog 1999. I stated that I was informed by shop representative that older than 99 was ok. Shop representative said that's correct but we can't smog 99. Lying SOS.

Dishonest, I went to do smog test, I told them I removed the battery head to clean salt a day earlier,they said dosenot affect smog test. 5 mins later they say the car failed the test because OBD II Monitor are not ready,charged me $50 for that and will charge me $38 for retesting. Never going back. I just did the smog test at Loma Linda smog test only,very honest and reasonable price guy

Amazing experience, Redlands Smog Stop helped diagnose the issues in my car and fixed them with no trouble. I highly recommend this place for any car repairs you may need, they repaired my clutch/clutch slave cylinder with no issues and at a great price. Car was ready way sooner than I had expected too. I've had multiple experiences going in for for a repair and the team sharing that it wasn't as necessary as I may have thought. I have also experienced them find solid options for problems that didn't have a clear-cut solution. Additionally, the team won't accept the job if they think it's outside their scope. Im a girl who will go without, unless it is absolutely necessary. With that being said, I hadn't had AC in my current vehicle since I purchased it, which was over 2 years ago. With the heat rollin in 100s, I knew I was going to need AC. Ricky specifically is AMAZING. I love the "hometown feel" that his shop provides. He had his shop FULL with cars so I told him that I was in no rush and for him to take his time. Within 3 hours my car was blowing nice, cold air! He explained what had been fixed and what was salvageable, in a way that I could understand. Most people don't go out of their way, but he does. I can really respect that. They seem to take real pride in their work! Great shop, great workers, and all around GREAT EXPERIENCE thank you so much guys! I'd be dying in this heat without you

Redlands Smog Stop on Redlands Blvd near Lowes gives excellent service not only for smog testing but many other automotive maintenance services. My older Toyota got tested quickly and passed with flying colors. I can highly recommend this shop.

Really great place. Sadly when our family member passed we didn't knew who to reach, so we looked around and didn't know who to reach out for the job being from abroad. And By chance after calling a multitude of places I found Rick at Smog Stop. And he said he worked for the family to help with our car fix needs for a long time. so I was amazed and happy for this lucky coinsidence.He did the the AC job I asked of him, and nothing more, nothing less . And also asked to generally check the problem out from different angles.The price was right, we got what we wanted without any fancy PACKAGES or bells and whistles.Thank you very much for being there for us in our time of need.

I had a truly top notch experience with this shop. They went above and beyond every step of the way. The owner and the entire team is extremely knowledgeable and their communication is unmatched. Everyone was super friendly. I was even receiving videos of the progress throughout the process of the extensive work I had done. Honestly the cleanest shop office I've ever been in too, and their shop is just as organized. Very happy customer. Will be back 100%.

**MUST READ DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE**People, do not ignore the multiple one star reviews this guy Rakakan "Ricky"Dababa (also known as Jacob if he's trying to pretend like hes not at the shop) has for his business, Redlands Smog Stop. He is as sloppy and dirty as he looks. The one star reviews are the true character evidence of this con artist. He led me along the most elaborate non-sensical explanation of misplacing my car battery after he charged me to buy a new one from him. He said he would hold my old battery and leave it in my car for me when the tow truck comes to pick up the repaired car. When I got the car, i notified him that the battery was not in the car. He told me that a company had come to "pick up" the battery and he would have them return it. Guess what people? it was never returned. I called him to ask for the battery a few weeks later and he hung up on my face responding with " i dont know who this is, no battery." I proceeded to call the shop instead of his cellphone, where he told his employee to tell me that the battery was on its way. When I asked who is bringing the battery the employee stated that he has no idea about my battery at all. Ricky then gets handed the phone where he tells me his name is Jacob! lol like a true con man. I eventually drive to the smog shop after a couple crazy phone calls with his crazy stories and I ask for Jacob. Ricky then walks up holding a wrench screaming at me to leave his shop and that he has no battery or cash for me. I said I would sue and he responded with "all this over a battery?"I was then blocked on instagram by him. This guy is actually complete trash. Please before doing business with him, pay attention to the 1 star reviews. He is genuinely the waste of life, time, and money that people describe him to be.Ricky when you read this, please reply and let me know what did you expect me to do when you stated that you just simply misplaced by battery and will do nothing about it? I am not sure what deficiency you have, but it is affecting your ability to run a business as a respectable human. Whatever response or reply he has for this people, just know that he is desperate to save his face like all the other replies he has to one star reviews. Redlands Smog Stop is a joke and should be out of business sooner than later for its abysmal service and operation.Service: Battery service

Redlands smog stop is the go to when having a older bmw, They have serviced all my bmws and the first one I ever brought to them nobody else could get it running properly however Redlands smog stop had me in and out in the same week. Recommend going in and meeting the owner and getting some of their quality work done on your classic bmw

These people deserve no stars, first off I had a appointment to check my air conditioner. Let me tell you I waited 3 hours for my car to even get looked at. And it took them 2 hours to even check my air conditioner. I was there 5+six hours. And they tell me nothing is wrong!! Really!!! My car air conditioner still gets hot even worse, if these people would have helped me I would have gave them more stars. But they didn t!!!! Don t go here they don t help!! They just waste people time.!!!

Be very careful and stay away! Very simple. Have a car that have not used do to pandemic but need new plates and a smog test. Car has not been run in couple of months so I asked in laws to take it in to get a smog test. I've owned several cars and gone to multiple smog shops. One thing every other professional shop has done is take a quick look if Check Engine light is on then its an automatic fail no need to connect or plug anything in. Simple 5 second check. Every shop always says hey you have check engine light you should get that fixed first or would you like us to do a check and offer repair services. Well not these guys, they straight ran a test and charged knowing it was an automatic fail!! Feel bad for my in laws because they did not know better, had I been there I would have driven the car around or got it scan to check what is wrong with it could be simply needs to be driven around a bit or might need serious work. Be careful if this is how they behave on a simply smog test, can't help but wonder how else they screw their customers on actual mechanical work.Service: Smog certification

Failed smog due to incomplete EGR. I'm not even mad about that part. It was the subsequent response and general attitude regarding this fail that merits the one-star.At the time, the tech told me to "drive it at low speeds in the city for about 50 miles. That should do it." The manual doesn't say that at all. And I had to drive it a solid 300 miles before the EGR test finally completed.I noticed there is another review on here with the same issue. And the owner literally responds with a defensive "not our job" attitude, which is the most telling attitude of all. Apparently, mediocrity flows from the top down at Redlands Smog Stop.Well let me give you a little education. There are no less than SIX smog test stations within 2 miles of Redlands Smog Stop. Many offer free retests. Leading your defense with, " That's not our job" is not a good strategy to earn good reviews, let alone get return customers. $58 to smog a truck isn't a special price to begin with. You're sure as heck not getting another $38 on the retest.It takes you literally 30 seconds to avoid these reviews and go ABOVE AND BEYOND to provide excellent customer service by informing your customer, "Hey man, this isn't ready to smog." Most people assume that no check engine light means you're good to go. As a professional you have two jobs. 1. Provide excellent service and 2. Don't make excuses and blame your customer when things go sideways.Don't trust these guys to do you right. They want that retest money. They're not sorry when you unexpectedly fail due to their willful blindness. They couldn't be happier. They get another $40 for another 5 minutes of work. Took car in for smog, they asked a few questions that helped me not get ripped off. First is your check engine light on, other which applied to me have you disconnect or replace car battery lately. I had just installed new battery. Guy says it resets computer and the car would fail smog. He even scanned the car with code reader and it showed that the o2 and cat convertor where not synced yet with computer. My car would have definitely failed. Nice to see honest business looking out for customers!

Charged $46.75 to fail due to not enough mileage since battery change. Ford Fusion 2012Retest fee $38.25 (and the plus $8 after? Idk, didnt go back to find out.)The guy spent less than 5 minutes to determine it could not be tested. So I am not going back to them.This isnt my job or career. I didn't know that was a thing with smog testing til now and the guy sure as hell didnt seem to care to inform me before charging. Had that demeanor like he didnt care about me passing or failing, that "yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever attitude".Went to Loma Linda Smog Check instead, got in & out, passed, and the super chill guy (1 man op) actually asked me questions about how my car was running, any problems or changes made recently - very nice.$40 for the smog test on my Fusion.This place has room for improvement, but I am disappointed. They arent the cheapest, and it looked like some $50-60 places at least will offer a free retest. Especially when a guy spends no more than 5 mins on my car which isnt that old or used... Seriously.

I brought my vehicle in to be smogged. Ricky let me know the smog would not pass with my "check engine" light on. The fuel gauge sensor went bad many months ago. I had delayed the repair as the estimated cost was over $600, due to the time and labor needed to remove the gas tank for the fix. Ricky let me know he could do the repair at their shop and would give me the best price he could.The next day I brought it in at 8:00am. He called me at noontime and told me the repair was done. I told him I'd walk over there to pick it up as my office is less than a mile away. He was very kind and offered to come over and pick me up since it was hot outside.I was pleasantly surprised when I learned the repair was a couple hundred dollars less than what I had thought it would be. So impressed with Ricky and his sister, who manages the office. Good hard-working honest people. I will certainly refer business to them.

These guys are ridiculous!!! I mean, they are quick, honest and reliable! I took my old 2002 Volvo S60 and the darn thing didn't pass the 1st time, I knew it wasn't running that well and it also had the check engine light before I brought it here, so I expected it not to pass, but they found two wires not connected and when we retested it, it passed! They went way beyond and didn't charge any extra unlike other places!
