Pit Stop is well priced, fast, and helpful. All the folks there have been excellent and taken care of us and our cars through both routine maintenance and acute problems. They help you find solutions that fit your budget as well. As long as we're in the area, these are our car guys.

This place is great for oil changes, spark plugs, brakes, shocks and basic car repairs, unfortunately if you need real work done to your car you need to take somewhere else because the mechanics there are not ASE certified so basically they could be guessing the real symptoms of your vehicle, also the level of customer service is not good.

Happy with my experience, but I only used the Pit Stop to replace a BMW battery I had purchased at O'Reilly. They charged $35, it took about 15-min, and did NOT include the battery registration with the BMW computer. (I did that myself.)Service: Auto battery replacementService: Auto battery replacement

***Check the gas level before leaving.** Used uhaul.com, booked a truck, picked it up within minutes, quick service. BUT the gas tank was on empty. I didn't check or realize it until after I drove far away. Probably some homeless people stole it. So essentially I had to pay $50 extra in gas. Upon return I used the digital website, took pics, and dropped in the key (but cell signal is low so it took 25 minutes or so to complete).

This is a copy of the complaint I wrote yesterday to the Bureau of Automotive Repair on behalf of my brother who is deaf and who relies on his vehicle for the income he earns installing video relay equipment for other deaf people in the Inland Empire. As of this afternoon, 11/18/20, he still doesn't have his car back. Judge for yourself if you can trust this establishment.I took my car in for repair on September 30, 2020. They told me in would be fixed by October 2. It was not fixed. I paid to rent a car for a week. My car was still not fixed. They finally gave my car back on October 8. I paid $2800 for the repair, but it was still not fixed correctly. It was leaking fluids and wouldn't shift gears without jamming. The Pit shop came and towed it to their shop again on October 10. They said it would be one week to fix it. I paid again to rent a car. They kept telling me it was almost done, but then it wasn't done when I tried to pick it up. I kept paying to rent cars. They finally gave it to me again on October 30. It was still not fixed! It was jerking and not shifting correctly and still leaking fluids. I tried to use it for work, because I needed to work, but it was no good. On November 1 they finally towed it back to the Pit Shop AGAIN. They told me again one week to fix it. It was not ready in one week. Then they told me two days. It still wasn't ready. Today they told me the transmission was cracked, that they just got the part today, and that it will be ready in two days. If they do return my car on Wednesday, that will be seven weeks since this ordeal began. This is just terrible. My sister asked for my money back today, and they refused.Service: Transmission

They were super friendly. I came in about changing my engine filter they took a look and told me and showed me I didn't need a replacement yet. I truly appreciated that cause they could have told me anything to make more money, but they didn'tThey were upfront and did only what was necessary on my car. They have a customer for life.

I'm Very Satisfied. I had an appt for new tires and they were ready for me when I arrived on time. I thought the communication was good and they asked several questions and kept me updated. This was not my first visit. I purchased my tires there last time with the other owner. I was satisfied then also but I thought this time was a better experience: more efficient and more professional. They mentioned that my brakes were getting thin but did not pressure me even a little. They beat Discount Tires in price in case you were wondering.

In and out with the oil changed in 7 minutes, brought my own oil and filter so the price was $20' If your in a hurry and have your stuffs, just swing in like I did. Plus, the guys there were cool as heck, even called me over to see that they removed the old oil filter and putting in the new one.

Always fair prices, honest and trustworthy. We use them for oil changes and car repairs. They even charged us less than the original quoted price. They treat us like family!

My girlfriends $128 Budget truck rental reservation turned into a $600 completely different reservation. They tried to charge $275 just for the rental of a 16ft box truck w/ a $300 deposit, and $17 for liability cause someone had already messed up their truck causing $8,000 in damage w/ no liability, from what I was told. The reason for them rearranging my reservation the front desk man said was that the the location I was dropping the truck off at was receiving no more trucks, and i would have to bring the Budget truck back to their location. Even though it had been "reserved" and the location was taking trucks!! I asked for the manager who the front desk man said was "Boss". He denied me to speak to him and said if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else. Obviously I was going somewhere else as soon as he said $600 TO RENT A 16FT BOX TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!! I really needed this truck to help my mother move today so I called Budget and was hung up on 3times before finally speaking to a customer service representative. Finally when I contacted someone they said the location was accepting trucks, but gave me no real answer as to why the rental from "pit stop" was so much. I was told when reserving that the deposit would be waived because I used a major credit card. IT ALL SOUNDS LIKE A HUGE RIP OFF!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!! I contacted a different rental company who negotiated me a truck same day, I am now pleasantly moving right now as I am typing 6/9/17

I've gone to this place for over 15 years. The new owner took over about 4-5 years ago and let me tell you not much has changed. They overcharged you on simple work. My last experience was the straw that broke the camel's back. I took my car there for work so it could pass smog. They started the $800 work without asking me if I was OK with it. The $800 turned into $1100 then into $1400 by the time they were done. After haggling over the cost we settled for $1100 cash for everything. But by then, one of their I inexperienced worker broke the gear stick next to the steering wheel.

Took my car in for an oil change and top of the coolent. A guy who isn't "employed " by the shop but allowed to "work" there refused to listen to me and broke my cars heater core. They installed a bypass which I had to pay for. The car now dies when idling & Pete said he has no idea why it's happening. I've gone there for over 7yrs & this is how I'm treated. I'm never taking my car back. Reported them to the BAR .

This is a horriable place they quoted me $750 to change knock sensors. I didn't know if to laugh or feel insulted he said he charges $95 an hr. So 7hrs to change a knock sensors very aggravated. Very dishonest business.

Pete and Jessie are amazing mechanics, I use them religiously to maintain my vehicles. Its great piece of mind knowing they know the history of my vehicle so they can quickly and easily diagnose the problem.

Had only a simple oil change. The wrong filter was used and popped off on the trip back home. Oil everywhere. Will never go there again and no one should!
