I moved to Redlands awhile ago and soon began experiencing car issues. I m always very weary of taking my car to a new mechanic but when I got to Kellems for the first time, just to have my coolant reservoir replaced along with a hose, I immediately could tell that the owner and the rest of his staff are very honest and great at their job. The coolant reservoir was replaced perfectly and I was told that I may need to replace some other hoses too as they were very weak. Which I did end up doing and I also had Kellems replace those for me. I own a 2017 Chevy Cruz (probably one of the worst cars ever made! It s one issue after another), as of recent I had to take my car in for a diagnostic as the engine light was on and I noticed there was an engine power is reduced message I kept getting on my dash every time I drove to work. I was told an honest diagnosis for my car and although the repairs will cost more than what my car is worth, the owner kindly took his time to provide me some advice as to what vehicles he recommends as I travel A LOT for work and need a good car on gas mileage and can hold up. I m really grateful to have found an honest mechanic. Nothing worse than having car troubles and then taking your car to someone who is just trying to get money out of you. Especially as a female, I know all to well how some mechanics try to take advantage of that. I observed how Kellems customers really appreciate their work and they show their respect for the business by coming in and letting the owner know. I highly recommend this business to my family and anyone I know who begins to have car issues or even for just an oil change. :) thank you Kellems for being a genuine, honest business! I have been going to Kellums for 25+ years and every experience has been fantastic! I have 6 daughters and have trusted Kellums with keeping the cars they drive in excellent condition. I am always greeted with friendly smiles. I have sent many of my friends to Kellums and every time they have been very happy with the results. Kellem s is the only mechanic that my family and I go to and trust. We have a lot of older cars, and each time we ve had a problem, Kellems has been able to see our cars almost right away. I remember when I took my car to Valvoline to get my oil changed, and they had told me that my car had a lot of problems. I shared the report and my concerns with Mr. Kellem, and he saw my car that same day and did a comprehensive review of my car. He fixed one small issue, but told me that my car was fine! Kellems is honest and reliable, and I highly recommend this place to anyone!

I am voting Kellem s Automotive as the best in Redlands. They provide fast high-quality efficient service for your vehicle here. They get your cars in and out. Elias and his team know what they re doing. Elias is fair and reasonable and treat customers like family. If I ever need my vehicle worked on, I will be returning here! Extremely unprofessional place. Terrible work for high priced slow labor. The employees were rude and they did not fix any problems, rather just had me pay for an unnecessary diagnostic. You will be better off going to an official repair facility because you'll end up paying high prices anyway. At least you avoid the racist undertones from their employees and support better more ethical businesses. HOPEFULLY I SAVE YOU some money, time and peace of mind.

Just had my air condition done and my brakes the air conditioner was the same price that I had asked the owner the previous year so love how the prices don't change within time. Elias was a wonderful owner great very polite he even offered to clean my rotors to save them so I wouldn't have to replace them with new ones I love how he had all my work done in one day and knew how valuable I needed my car done in one day I appreciate his work his service I love how they have tracks in their office to read because God is good and he does marvelous things. And God bless me with Mr Elias who gave me a wonderful price and who works on my car and works on it with compassion and care along with his mechanics.

Kellems is our family mechanic. I mean through our entire family- 4 generations use Kellems. We trust and value our relationship with them. Their quality of workmanship is above all others, professional and yet treat you like family and friends. They tooky car on an errand run, to a flooring store, put 8 miles on my car. Its on my Dash cam! NOT OK.Horrible communication, owner and reception Lied to buy themselves more time with my car. Said they had to "order a part for compression test - and once that came in my numbers were all over the place with 1 cylinder being 25" - i wouldnt have been able to drive my car at all if that were the case, and I drive 40+ miles daily. Yet still had me to come down for pick up. AFTER I got there they had a ' friend of the shop ' do the test drive and said there are check engine lights and codes for misfire, barely made it back around the block. I asked to see the car and go on test drive and was told the car should not be driven like that. ( which the car was fine upon taking it in )Had to leave it over night causing me to pay for an Uber to work instead of the arrangement to come back to finish leakdown test on a cold car another day.Next day Elias says he "cleaned" the sparkplugs and did the leak down test and now all my numbers are with in normal range, no check engine light bo misfire.They also don't know how to make a written quote/estimate- receptionist said thay in 20 years, they have NEVER been asked for a written quote. I think their clients are blind to the advantage Elias is taking of them.They also put 8 miles on my car. Why did they need to drive it so far for a compression test. There was no need.They also returned my car with black grime all over the exterior door ( white car ) interior door panel and steering wheel. I wipe down often after covid.NEVER HAS A MECHANIC CAUSED ME SO MUCH STRESS and needless additional money. DO NOT GO HERE. I was referred by Discount tire, I went and told them what happened and the manager was appalled and apologetic- saying he will not refer there again.

I don t do reviews, but this is one of the best if not the best mechanics I ve ever been to. Not only was my car taken care of but so was I. The owner Elias is such an understanding and relatable person, him and his staff really know how to take care of the people they extend their services to, it didn t feel like a simple exchange it felt as if I was bringing my car to an old friend. I was kept in the loop the entire time and never once felt like I was trying to be taken advantage of. Once again I have to extend the biggest thanks to the owner Elias he handled my car with so much care and made me feel secure in spending the amount of money I had to spend. Definitely will be returning when I need to ! :)

Slow work,poor labor.Employee was rude.They had my vehicle for two weeks and couldn t find the problem I took it to another mechanic who pinpointed the issue in a day with the appropriate Machinery for little to nothing that can be seen in the photos.I would never Recommend this shop to anyone.

Outstanding service! The folks at Kellems automotive are there to service your vehicles needs. I went to 3 other shops and they all told me I d need a new transmission which would cost me $5,000-$7,000!!! Kellems told me they would inspect the vehicle and give me their opinion. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me my transmission only needed a good service and instead of playing thousands I paid a couple hundred for my transmission service. The result my vehicle runs great! Like new. I own 3 other vehicles and believe me I will be taking them all to Kellems!!!Service: Transmission

I have gone to Kellem's for auto work a number of times and I am glad I found them! They are quick to get my car in and are very thorough. They are honest and will be transparent about the urgency of the work that needs to be done on the vehicle. Sherry, who works the front desk, is extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent repair shop!

I took my car to Kellums Automotive and never saw signage saying the dont take discover card. However, it was only a hiccup. The owner did not make a big stink of it. He asked me to pay the following week. This was great because I had to wait till next paycheck to pay. Great guy and great service. I am very happy with my car!

Elius@Kellems is a credit to the auto repair company. He went way beyond my expectations.He fixed my car even though it turned out a nightmare to diagnose my many problems.. Was in town for a church event and had axle problems... I called them first thing in the morning and they said they can get me right in. They gave me a fair price so I had my vehicle towed there, and they got me right in. Excellent customer service quality workmanship.
