This spot is awesome.Been here twice so far. Pricing is reasonable, service is good.The owner and staff seem honest and are friendly.Love the fact that I was able to get an oilChange and smog check back to back, like a one stop shop if you will!Bonus: there are plenty of good spots to eat within walking distance, talk about convenience. By the time you re done eating the wait time isn t too bad. They got super comfy couches in their waiting area too! Highly recommend!

Great company the owners a good guy. Took my Nissan frontier in transmission and differential service. Him and his team did great. Really fast and professional. Would recommend this place to all my friends and family

Gave reasonable pricing along with a quick install for all 4 of my tires on my camry. Always welcoming and very helpful if you have concerning questions. Would defanently recommend if your need tires installed or need anything done on your vehicle.

Excellent customer service from the entire staff. They made my bad day much easier to deal with. Had my car in, & out the same day. I ve since sent my family, & friends to northstar with absolutely no regrets. They will definitely have my repeat business from here on out.

North star smog is one of the best places around rancho I highly recommend there services if you are a car with or with our smog. They have payment plans and great employees that's to Northstar my car is running damn near perfect

Called to get a smog on motorhome, said can't till Monday. I moved on and got it done the same day. Mondays don't work for me when I need to be to work myself.

My registration was about to expire and there were barely any auto repair places available on Saturday so I was super stressed and panicky. I had gone to many places including another NorthStar in North Highlands but it was closed and looked HORRIBLE. I was super scared since I literally only had that day or was gonna have to ditch work on Monday but OMG this place was so amazinggg. It was so clean and looked great. They even had nice couches and cold water for people. EVERYONE WAS SO NICEE. There was only an hour or so before they closed so they weren t super sure if they could do it that day but in the end they decided to do it, finishing just before 5 which is when they close. In reality, they weren t required to fix it that day but they cared about my situation and bunch and it showed. They were all so friendly and positive towards me and never judged my situation. They happily took care of my car and even cared to show me what it is they were going to replace my broken part with. They even told me that they wanted me to save money so not only did they give me a smog inspection test so I wouldn t have to go back to the place I first went to which was pretty far, THEY ALSO SAID THEY D GIVE ME A DISCOUNT. I didn t check my receipt but still, the service was over the top. One of the places that I had gone to earlier that day was a FireStone but they straight up told me that they couldn t even touch with my car because I had failed and they couldn t even recognize the problem, like, what?? They avoided me but these people didn t and definitely wouldn t to anyone else who goes there. They never gave me attitude or got mad because I failed a test and got there an hour before they closed.I am never going to any place ever again! PLEASE COME HERE EVEN IF IT IS A LITTLE FARTHER I PROMISE YOU IT IS THE BEST AND THE PEOPLE THERE ARE PERFECTTServices: Smog certification, Auto body & trim replacement

I took my Mercedes into this shop to get my brakes done. Their team of mechanics did an awesome job and I saved a lot of money, by not taking it to the dealership. I definetly will use this auto repair shop from now on.

I thought they were honest until I took my daughters car in to have valve cover gasket replaced. The man told me she needs front brakes because it was "metal on metal". Not true, I just replaced the brakes 2 weeks ago.So be careful dealing with them.

Very solid guys brought my step daughters car in for a few different things they are repair pal aka Carmax Maxcare certified repair facility. Well I called this place, had to get a smog certification. They set up an appointment same day. He even said it s ok if you re a little late. I showed up early. My car was taken instantly. This is a very awesome place for smog and auto care they are Very professional and did Everything they could to help me save money God bless them and there company.... I got an oil change there and at first they were struggling to get The plug from the oil pan of due to the last place that changed the oil strip the bolt. They kept me informed the whole time witch made me feel trustworthy of them. Well they got it off and changed my oil. And did not charge me for the extra labor.Services: Tires, Oil change

Do not bring your car into this place!!!! The man at the front desk is not friendly at all. He is very rude and money hungry went to this place to get car smog only and was offered an oil change. I denied the oil change and the man got upset and he failed my Smog because of the catalytic converter code issue. I got a brand new catalytic converter (1200 dollar value)installed came back three days later and failed smog again with no retest over something totally different but that issue had passed 3 days before I came back with brand new Catalytic converter. Do not go to this place and if you do go and they offer you something that you did not come in for BE CAREFUL because if you say no they may dislike you.OAN: I told the guy I was a single mom and he looked at me with a smirk on his face and his exact words was, How do I know that . I rate this business a -(negative)Star.Service: Auto emissions testing

I only have good things to say about this shop. I ve had my vehicle serviced here 3 or 4 times, and every time they went the distance to also top of the fluids and add air to my tires on top of changing the oil. I also had my breaks done here because of the warranty they provide (2 years or 24,000 miles). I even got my new tires from them, and they installed them and balanced them. They are very professional and honest.

Brought both of my cars to these guys, they broke stopped working on the same day. Craig fit me in and fixed one of the cars right away, so I had something to go to work. They are super helpful and reasonable with their prices! Defiantly recommend! The owner is super nice to the clients and Craig was super helpful just answering questions and explaining how things worked, and what needed to be done to repair the cars. I had a great experience here. I had my truck towed in after the front wheel literally fell off while driving. Thanks to the team at Northstar everything is fixed and I couldn t be happier. The management and technicians are real pros. They went above and beyond to make sure my truck was right again. I would gladly recommend Northstar to my friends and family.
