it was so difficult to find very unclear instructions had to call about six times just to be talked to very rudely and inconsiderate workers a lady on the phone was very rude and then when I called because I just couldn't find it a guy on the phone finally sent someone out to come get me oh, and on top of that the literal sign in the front before you pull in doesn't even have the business name so I don't know how they expected me to find it easily they don't even have an indication of a sign on the lawn to point to where it is two different GPS took me to two warehouses over that had UPS trucks I won't be back here again. Oh and with the free vehicle inspection he didn't even say anything to me he just said it's good to go and then my tire pressure light was on and I was wondering what it was and he just really explained to me that it was my pressure was low for my tire but couldn't tell me that or give me any status for my vehicle inspection I am just so beside myself and disgusting chairs to sit on dirty and broken

My first experience with this business and was very satisfied, would definitely return. I called ahead and even though they were busy with bigger projects, they squeezed me in for an oil change. I appreciate their full inspection that is included, which I can see benefits both the customer and them. From the inspection, I was able to handle another quick issue that was found.You can tell that customer service is important to them. I was mainly interacting with the lady at the front desk and she was very kind, considerate and communicated everything efficiently.Would recommend.

My new go-to place for all my automotive repairs . They are trustworthy, friendly, and reliable. They even got the work done in such a timely manner. I found A&J Automotive Repair and Fleet Services through Groupon. I needed an oil change and A&J was offering one at a very good price. I called them and spoke with Jon, who was very helpful, informative, and friendly. He went through the various oil change options with me, and instead of trying to up-sell, told me what the bare minimum requirements were, and gave me the option to choose from there. I did not feel forced to purchase the more expensive oil change option (which is rare with automotive repair shops).I was able to schedule an appointment the next morning and upon bringing my car in on the day of my appointment, I was greeted by a friendly staff & even offered snacks/water during my wait. The front office was clean and organized. My oil change took about 30 minutes altogether, and I was good to go.I highly recommend A&J automotive repair to anyone looking for vehicle servicing.

Helpful and very nice people. Honored groupon rate and helped me to get in an appointment quickly. As a female, many shops can try to take advantage of and push extra services but that was not the case here at all. Came in for oil change and it was completed. After I left they called to let me know I had a brake light out and to be careful which I thought was very thoughtful. Will definitely come back for anything in the future.

The staff here was incredibly kind, efficient, thorough, and understanding of my situation. Before a long drive back home after a family emergency, we brought a vehicle in for just an oil change, letting them know we had a long drive ahead of us, and they made sure the vehicle was in good condition for the drive with some possible future heads up repairs. The whole staff there treated my family as if they were their family, and not just in their kindness, but also in their concern for our safety. My family appreciates every single one of you from the bottom of our hearts for simply being who you are! Thank you!

A&J Automotive was very helpful and performed professional quality work. I own a 2017 Mazda 3 and the brakes needed to be serviced. A&J Automotive is the one stop shop to take your car to get everything you need done in a timely manner. Great customer service and a nice waiting area. I'd highly recommend this shop. The reason being, they're honest with their work and it's hard to find a shop where you can trust your car to be taken care of. I've lived out in Sacramento for 3 years and I found a great spot to keep up the maintenance of my car. Keep up the great work!

I was shopping for trustworthy oil change locations and found A&J's through yelp. However since yelp is becoming unreliable, I decided to come thru and see if the shop was worth it. If quality service and friendly, knowledgeable staff is what serves you, A&J's auto repair is right for you. They changed my oil filter, checked my fluids, and made sure my car was in tip top shape. Reasonably priced too. The location is a little hidden but if you want a great one-stop shop, I highly recommend A&J Automotive Repair and Fleet Services. BTW the staff is awesome and this is family owned!

This place was one of the few, rare, trustworthy shops in Sacramento. Too bad the greedy landlord jacked their lease up to a ridiculous amount, forcing them to close. Whoever decides to rent this place afterwards would be a fool to pay what the landlord's asking for in today's market. Ah well, on to bigger and better things, guys!

I had my oil changed through A&J Automotive, and Adam and Jon were prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful, getting me back in my car in less than 50 minutes.In addition to the oil change they performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle and made recommendations without being pushy. They offer a maintenance service for regular oil changes and inspections ala preventative care for your vehicle, and the service program includes discounted parts and labor for future operations. I'm still evaluating if the service is worth it for me, but I'm happy with my visit and will be returning to A&J for future repair and maintenance needs!

First time to A&J auto repair. Appointment for a synthetic oil change was available on the same day I called. Staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. Work was completed in 50 minutes. Very pleased. I will be back for my other service needs.

They have years of experience and knowledge in Automotive Repair. You can trust the job will be done right. They have multiple options and discounts you can benefit from. They're Respectful,Friendly, and will answer any Questions you have. They also really fair on pricing compared to majority of the shops around town. I will definitely be going here from now on for my cars Maintenance and Repairs. I recommend coming here. Save money and at the sametime can have a peace of mind knowing that all work done to your car will be done right.

The front desk receptionist is friendly, positive and made me feel as if I was chatting with an old friend setting up my first appt. I love that they re a small business and it shows in the way they care for and treat their customers. There s a place that s around the corner from my house, but I d make the trip again to come here for the great service and efficiency. Keep it up y all! Thanks again!

I felt very comfortable at this business. The work was done in a very timely manner and the price for the work I had done was very good. The service was clearly communicated and I didnt feel they were trying to upsale me anything to get ready for the coming holidays. I'm sure I'll be coming back and referring others. I enjoyed a down to earth convo with A & J as well. Great work all the way around. I hope they maintain their reputation with these solid qualities.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband. He took his car last week because it was overheating and they were able to get the car in and working within two days. Unfortunately, the car was still overheating and they took the car back in right away. They were able to fix the problem without having to replace the thermostat and lower radiator hose which saved us a lot of money. This place has awesome customer service and our affordable. We found out a new mechanic for sure.

They fixed my moms car on really short notice about a year ago, great service and did an efficient job. Their location changed and is actually a lot nicer, not as cold as another review said ahah. In fact, AC and heat provided too! Definitely 10/10 place, be sure to check it out.

I am going to come here every time I need an oil change. The staff is very friendly! Usually, when I get my oil change, I feel out of place because I am female. At A&J Automotive Repair and Fleet Service, I felt very comfortable. I love the fact that they use synthetic oil regardless of what car it is and they also clean my car inside and out! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very nice staff. Took my car back right at start of appointment with no waiting. Clean waiting room with snacks and water that was offered to my toddlers. Which is always appreciated. I will definitely be returning for future car services.

i normally come here for an oil change. I d rather do it myself so i can put the best oil in but due to lack of space and tools i come here. the first 3-5 times were perfect. i brought a different car in the next time and told them it was a different engine meaning it would take different oil and a bigger filter. they ended up putting all the wrong oil in. i toldthem 5w-20 full synthetic for my 5.7 hemi. idk what they put in but the next day engine lights are on and my engine is shaking. already spent $477 in repairs since it happened 3 days ago on a friday. flushed the oil and it didn t even feel like oil. my car still isn t running right. mostly they do a good job. the owner is the one who performed this job on my 2010 5.7 hemi. they don t make these body styles or engines anymore and it ruined my engine. thanks to the owner. he told me hey you have a good weekend bro as i was leaving. right after that i felt suspicious about what he did or didn t do to my car later finding out all that^

Being new in town, needing one s car for work, and being unsure if as a female I m going to get a fair shake at a mechanic is all nerve-wracking. Not if you come to A & J, for real. These guys are smart, honest and kind. I m so grateful to have found them. Highly recommend their services to everybody.

These guys are the real deal. Jon (own of two owners) is a straight shooter, offers a fair price, and goes above and beyond to do the right thing and keep customers happy. I love supporting a small local business, especially when they are honest, do great work, and charge fairly. Will definitely take more of my business here.

Came in needing a transmission service done and I have to say, the best experience I've had at a local auto repair shop by far. Clean and comfortable waiting room and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend A and J Automotive and Fleet Service to anyone in the Sacramento area needing honest quality work.

I've been going here since last year and although sometimes they're closed due to COVID they've always provided good service to me and my vehicle. They're really knowledgeable about their oil products service and etc would recommend to anyone that needs oil changes, they also have Groupons which led me to them.Will be returning thanks!Service: Oil change

Jon performed a transmission gasket , transmission oil and filter change on my jeep. Also a engine oil pan gasket , oil and filter change. Very knowledgable mechanics and friendly! Jon told me everything about my jeep and everything made sense. Friendly service , fast service and good prices!! My only complaint on my review is that they did not have beer and pizza , or lobster dinners in the waiting room. Thanks again A&J !!!

Found this awesome shop when I purchased a groupon for an oil change. So glad I did because they are awesome! Fast and efficient not to mention friendly! Will definitely be bringing my car back for all my oil changes!!!

Took it in for an oil change. They didn't call or text to let me know when my oil change was finished. Wasted time. They didn't put a sticker on the window indicating the date or mileage of the oil change. I couldn't check the mileage on the receipt because they didn't provide me one. When I called later to ask what the mileage was at the time of the oil change they told me a number 30,000 miles more than my current mileage. A clusterf&%k all around. I just hope they remembered to actually change the oil...Service: Oil change
