Caught a flat tire enroute to my nieces graduation..called the nearest tire shop which was Cortez tires & auto it was discovered I ran over a nail...I was quoted $15 for a tire plug and $25 for a patch..Didn't take long to realize I would be charged for a patch simply because it was more expensive..I asked JOSE why was the patch required although the plug will work..he simply stated "They make more money from patches oppose to plugs... RIDICULOUS..PLACE IS A MONEY GRAB

I shipped my car from Florida to Pinole, & when I received my car somehow it had an air leak on its tire. I wasn't familiar with the area and had to look up a place where I could possibly figure out the issue. Came by this place early morning first thing and they found a nail. They removed it, plugged it and filled the rest of my tires with air within 20 minutes. No issues, $20 up front & very professional.

Knocked it out of the ballpark on my K5 Blazer. Newly rebuilt transmission, new rear main seal, new exhaust manifolds, and new gaskets for the oil pan and intake manifold. Excellent service Excellent people.

Got a flat tire, called them up on a Tuesday morning and were able to go in and out of there in about 30 minutes. They charged a reasonable price for the tire exchange as well. They were quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Woke this morning to find two of my vehicle's had flat tires, drove over to Cortez tires in pinole and they were able to get me in and out in less then 15 min on each vehicle. Edith and Julia thank you and your staff for the great customer service and experience i had at Cortez tires, highly recommended...

I usually don t take the time to write reviews, but I took my car here last week to get the tires swapped & balanced from one set of wheels to another. I get on the freeway as I leave & my steering wheel starts shaking. Come to find out they didn t balance my wheels. This is unacceptable especially from a tire shop. I pretty much paid them to potentially damage my car & risk my safety on the road.

Always a great experience every time. I personally have been dealing with this shop for some years and have also referred many people. I have come in contact with many people who work at this establishment and everyone is awesome and friendly. A special shout out the Mario who over all has theeeee best customer service ever. Mario is very detailed with any questions or concerns you have, and will answer you with all honesty.

I had new tires installed here. They offer a fast service, but the installers don't care about your stuff. Badly scratched my rims. And not in the places you'd usually expect when removing the tires but it odd places that suggest carelessness.I paid some ridiculous amount for them to put air in my tires which I thought air was free? They overpressurized a few tires. The pressure was different in each tire and the pressure light went on.Same thing with the lug nuts. Some were overtightened and some were loose. Common theme here lacking care.The women behind the counter are extremely unknowledgeable. Tried to sell me an alignment even though I just had one done and couldn't even tell me if they do a laser alignment.Worst part is I drive a diesel vehicle, and to be honest with prices how high they are I should have known this was going to happen. I went in with 3/4 a tank and somehow left with less than a 1/4.One of the installers having the keys and everything definitly syphoned my fuel for his truck.All around bad experience here and will never go back. But that's what you get what you're looking for a bargain price.

Had a very good experience there. Quick service with professionalism. The owner was great and his workers were awesome and nice. My tires got installed quickly and I was on my way. Definitely coming back.

Helpful, friendly, fast, and affordable. I had a nail in my tire and they rescued me, a pregnant and miserably sick woman, from waiting hours at Big O for a simple tire repair. 15 minutes for a quality job that only cost me $20, but I owe them so much more in gratitude. I really appreciate places like this.

I rolled into Cortez Tires super early with an urgent tire fix. Even though it's my first time here Angel the manager jumped into action so our family can get back on the road to everyday life (even though he was still in the process of opening up the shop). It's great to get quality work at a fair price from an excellent local family business. I'll be back when I need Tires. Gracias always! UPDATE I have recommended Cortez tire multiple times and been back for other problems. Every time that they have exceeded expectations even as they get higher and higher!

I spoke to someone early that Monday morning just to see if they had my size tire, and just from the greeting and conversation alone was so upbeat and pleasant I had to go there. They were quick fast and very helpful. Thanks again

Just from a phone call. Very welcoming good people, will update once the place of venue has been visited.EDIT: 4 used tires from Cortez $200.004 used tires from Big O Tires, $350.00(2015 Nissan Sentra)

I always enjoy coming here for any of my car needs. They always seem to fit me in. I never feel like i am being over charged being a girl. Great people that own and work at the shop.

Fast and Honest! Two other businesses told me I had an unrepairable tire but these guys showed me where the screw in the tire was and repaired it in 5 mins!$20 was well worth the price compared what I would have paid the other guys!

After going to big o tire and they refused to help me, I went to Cortez tires. Not only did they repair the flat (both screw and roofing nail) they put the spare away. The beautiful thing about it, they fixed it for free.

Service was fast, price was reasonable, but I didn't like the fact that the mechanic was still wearing the same dirty gloves he wore to work on the car and then get into the car to move the car.

This so far is the most affordable tire and auto repair shop in pinole. They exist because they cater to customer who just visited big o tires. Their place and location might not be ideal but that's why they charge less.

I came here twice to get my tire patched. It was fast, everyone was friendly and it only cost me $20 bucks. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know who needs a tire patched.

I know Cortez since he was with a Different tires and wheels company. Very Honest person and now that he has his own shop I take my cars to him and recommended to all of my family and friends.
