left headlights on battery dead tried to get a jump it would turn over but wouldn't stay started, two employees from the tire shop recommended a couple local mechanics I called I was quoted $250 for a diagnosis and x amount for a tow one block away, as I sat there in my truck I couldn't help but notice this sign directly across the street 500 yards " Street tech Auto Care" with phone number it was 4:40 in the afternoon but I called anyway, when a wonderful person named " Heather " answered the phone and instead of telling me that they were closed for the day and trying to make me appointment for 2 weeks in the future she stated that I was welcome to drive the car over have it towed over push it over and leave it in their parking lot overnight safely, she also listened to my explanation of what I thought was wrong and I started the car while she was on the phone and she was able to listen to the ignition and verbally diagnosed over the phone and the information that she gave me if I could have understood it correctly and followed her directions would have likely started my vehicle up and drove away with no further mechanical help or tow, but that's not it there's more, she then goes on to say that all of her technicians are out for the day but the owner or somebody is still there on site that could possibly look at my truck still , I tell her that I'm directly across the street feel free to call me back approximately 5 minutes later I get a tap on the window and this man( CORY) !! is standing outside of my truck instead of going home after a hard Day's work and he's diagnosing my truck, he does some kind of " fonzy magic touch " and what do you know my truck is slowly idling it's staying started he gives me some other advice it worked and I'm driving my truck away, $300 minimum would have cost me to have somebody do that identical service that could have only taken 5 minutes and he did that for free and left his facility and drove to where I was for free to do all of that on his time, I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT I COULD NOT BEG THIS PERSON FOR ANY KIND OF SERVICE ON THE SPOT, THEY DID NOT JUST WANT MY MONEY, THEY WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT I HAD THE SERVICE THAT I NEEDED

Customer beware Had to get the (BAR) Bureau of Automotive Repair involved after leaving my Subaru at Street Tech Auto Care for a total of 13 months. Dropped of in October 24th of 2022 in hopes of an honest opinion of whether the car was worth repairing. Owner was vague about repairs & asked for a substantial personal loan cause of COVID, I told him we could entertain that after my car gets repaired. Months later with little communication, march of 2023 Owner asked if I could pay up front $3500 to get started on oil leak, and minor repair under the hood with willingness to help fix the body damage as well. I thought maybe that would get them to finally start the repairs. June of 2023 I stopped by in person for an update but the owner was too busy to come out and let me know what was going on with my car and the front desk associate couldn't supply me with a current invoice, rear window still was not installed. Had to get the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved at this point. Little communication between the shop and the (BAR). (BAR) showed up 3 times during business hours to inspect my car with no avail cause the shop was closed all three times during business hours. Early December 2023 my car was finally inspected by the BAR and $3100 was absorbed by parts we didn't even speak of but I was able to finally remove my car from their shop with $400 back. Timing belt case was removed and replaced with same case to look for oil leak which wasn't found, and they didn't bother to ask about replacing timing belt in which we spoke of prior. Invested $3100 in my car that wasn't worth repairing to begin with. True story. Horrible experience, would not recommend to my worst enemy. You've been warned.

Consider going somewhere else. Communication is terrible here.Brought my SUV into this shop recently on a Wednesday for some routine maintenance and diagnosis of some problems I had noticed. I had stated the A/C charge port seemed to be leaking and there was a clunk coming from the suspension which I suspected was the tie rods. In check in they said they could probably get the service done in a day or two before the weekend. It all seemed great. Until it wasn t.. What then ensued was me having to call them to get any info of the status of my SUV and if I would have to make plans for a rental if they weren't done by the weekend just leaving my SUV locked up. On Friday three days later it was revealed that the battery was aged and interfering with diagnosis WHY wasn t that mentioned days earlier??? I was then also informed that my AC compressor was failing but they performed the refrigerant removal and fill anyway at $220 expense.. Also in the process they had removed the cabin air filter because it was dirty and needed to be replaced even though they never asked to authorize that. Finally after days spent diagnosing the suspension clunk they had confirmed that it was indeed the Tie Rods which was the first thing I had told them to look at.. I was through with this and needed my SUV for the weekend.. They did barely get it returned late Friday which again required me having to call and confirm what was going on and when I should try and get there to pick my vehicle up.The real sucker punch though is even though I had mentioned it multiple times (on check in and in phone calls) and despite the coolant being removed and refilled. No they couldn t bother to replace the leaking valve in the A/C service port! Well good thing I apparently need all the work done again anyway as the "compressor is failing".. Though if they were that oblivious to detail I wonder really how damaged the compressor was really before bringing it in for service.. We ll see when I take my SUV to anywhere else.Services: Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Battery

I can't thank Street Tech enough for the service they have provided me. They went above and beyond on multiple occasions for me. I purchased my vehicle through Carmax. I also purchased the extended warranty that Carmax offers. Long story short, my vehicle broke down and the warranty company indicated that Street Tech was an authorized repair shop. I had it towed to Street Tech and they took over everything for me. Contacting the warranty company making sure I had a rental (The owner, Corey, even offered to let me borrow a vehicle from their shop). They went through all of the hoops the warranty company put them through. They were able to get the cost of my transmission and labor covered under the warranty. A few months later my engine went out and they ended up doing it all over again. They made sure I was taken care of. The warranty company ended up paying for a new engine and labor as well. All because Street Tech was able to work with the warranty company and made sure that I was informed throughout. I really can't thank them enough. I could have been out over $10k in parts and labor if not for their due diligence.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

If you are looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic that will help you make informed decisions about your car then Street Tech is the perfect place. My family has been trusting Corey and his team with our cars for over 10 years now. Anytime I need work done on my car they do an amazing job of communicating what needs to be done and why. I never feel like I'm doing unnecessary repairs, in fact, the opposite has happened many times. I brought my car in once for an oil change and mentioned that I thought I might need new brakes, they looked over the car and assured me I had plenty of life left in the brakes. They were willing to do the work if I wanted but there was no need and they explained why so that I had peace of mind knowing my car was safe. On the few occasions that I've had a large list of items they helped me prioritize what was urgent and break the job into smaller parts so that I could budget accordingly. On top of being honest, they are all just really fun amazing people to work with.

Street Tech was referred to me by Carmax for an issue with my window motor and ST got it back to me on the same day I dropped it off, and went the extra mile to verify the warranty status on my car. They also performed and exhaustive diagnostic to determine what condition my vehicle was in. Their prices are fair and they come off as extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I ll definitely go back in the future for my car needs!

These guys are THE BEST! I unfortunately had a major issue with my engine. These guys not only dealt with my horrible warranty company. They went above and beyond for me. I can't thank them enough. You take a chance buying a used car and mine wasn't in the best condition. The 2nd time I took my car back it was ready within a day and it is running sooooo good. Im not taking my car anywhere else, not even for an oil change lol. Thanks so much guys for your hard work and dedication. My dad and I really appreciate it.

Had a fluid leak and air conditioner was not blowing cold air. The shop was VERY busy so they had my vehicle longer than typical before they could get it into the garage to have a technician diagnose the problem, but when they did they went above and beyond to get me drivining again. There's a reason 3 generations of my family are customers for over 10 years. The owner Corey is honest and a straight talker. Repairs are reasonable when compared to other shops, and they stand behind their work.

All the people at street tech auto care are very nice and accommodating. I have a lot of things needing work on my car and Corey made it clear that he wanted to get a few really necessary things out of the way but also that he wanted to get some things i would really be able to tell the difference while driving, I liked this idea as i was putting a good amount of money and wanted to really feel it. Needless to say the repairs were done as inexpressive and quickly as possible, and i could really feel them in the way my car drives! I will for sure continue to go to these guys for my repairs and strongly urge others to use them as well!!Thanks Again guys!!

My daughters friend told us about this shop. We've been bringing our vehicles here ever since. We've yet to have to return for follow-up service. Everyone here is friendly and clear in their communication. Have not had to ask twice about what they've done, etc. I highly recommend Street Tech to anyone needing service on your vehicle. Great Service! The addition of wifi service is a plus.

I had just bought my first car a few months ago when a pop up on the dash said service required . Had no idea what needed to be done exactly & was referred here. Scared that I was going to have to pay a fortune for what could have been added up required maintenance ended up being a minor thing. Very nice crew, and honest. Informed me on future maintenance but didn t low-ball or pressure me into getting things done that didn t need to be. I will be taking my care here in the future! Thank you to the crew at street tech for being so kind through the entire process.

If you haven't been fortunate enough to be a customer of Street Tech Auto, I can see why you could believe that some of their reviews are fake. I was a little skeptical at first as well, but when I saw they acknowledged every bad review either apologizing for a bad experience and offering to find a way to make it up to them; or calling people out on what I'd call BS. I thought if someone cares about their business that much, I'd be willing to give them a shot. When I called to make an appointment for a diagnostic, I advised of all the work I've had done already and how my mechanic suggested I get a second opinion because he was stumped. They gave me a discount before I even walked through the door because he said, "I feel bad charging you so much after you've already spent so much on your car." None of that work was done in their shop, and they still gave a discount. The only bad thing I can say about Street Tech Auto is their hours. They're only open when I'm at work, but you'll run into that with just about any business. I'm off early on Fridays, so I took my car in on a Friday afternoon, and they couldn't feel what I was feeling in the car. However, they refused to give up. They kept my ticket open, and I took my car back in a week later. This time they asked for permission to take it on the freeway (where the issue always happened), and they felt the vibration. After a bunch of work and logical thinking, they still had no idea what could be causing the vibration. I went on a business trip the next week, and I left my car with them for a few days.At this point, I still had not paid them a dime.I had just bought a full new set of wheels and tires in August, but Corey was convinced that there was something wrong with the tires. I had already had one tire replaced within 2 days of getting them due to a factory defect. He admitted that the likelihood of another tire having an issue was unlikely, but he decided to take my car to the tire company himself while I was out of town. They confirmed that there was another issue with the tire, and Corey left it up to me to decide what I wanted to do. He suggested I upgrade my tires, which I agreed to do.I went to this very popular, customer-service driven tire company myself and told them I wanted to upgrade all of my tires. They did the test themselves, confirmed that one tire had an issue and tried to send me on my way. I told them again that I wanted to replace ALL my tires, but they would only replace the one defected tire. They said that there being another factory defect on a set of tires was too unlikely (even though 2 have had to be replaced at this point), and refused to do anything until I took it back on the freeway and confirmed the vibration was still there. This tire company sent me back on the freeway after I told them I did not feel safe in my car, and I was willing to pay more money to upgrade my tires. So I took it on the freeway, and I immediately came back because the vibration was still there, and I spoke with a manager. The manager ended up upgrading my tires for free due to the multiple bad experiences I've had at their store. If Street Tech Auto hadn't gone above and beyond what you would expect from a car shop, my car still would not be fixed. I would have let this tire company tell me that something was wrong with my car because it couldn't possibly be my brand new tires.I encourage everyone I know to go to Street Tech Auto, even if it means to go out of their way. They treated me with respect before I even walked through their door. They believed me and did not give up when I said I feel a vibration when I drive, and I don't feel safe driving my car. I can't thank them enough.

The ladies behind the front desk are personable and friendly, the mechanics are knowledgeable and the work is supreme. They are excellent quality at a reasonable price. I recently took my 2009 honda civic and 1997 toyota corolla into Street Tech Auto Care and I could not be happier with the service I received. I definitely got more out of the experience then I was intending on; which is rare to come by now-a-days especially in the mechanical world.Thank you Street Tech Auto Care!!!Aaron Austin

Employees were very friendly and polite. Unfortunately other aspect of this business were not as good. This business tries to lock you in to returning for future oil changes by selling multiple oil changes for a discounted price up front. I also found the waiting area unpleasant as it has an extremely strong smell to it. By extreme I mean worse than any of the more than 10 garages I've been to in my life. Finally, the last time we took our car here they failed to reattach a skid plate on the bottom our car which has to be opened to perform an oil change. A day later we noticed it was dragging on the ground. We took it to another mechanic and were charged $55.00 to reattach it with 2 missing push pins.

Can I give it a zero star? I drove in, met the owner, told him I had an ABS light on. I watched him walk out, plug in the OBD II reader for not more than 10 seconds. He came in an told me that he could not find the problem and charged me for a full hour of diagnostic. Yep! A FULL HOUR.I told him I have several cars and this is my first experience with him and it's not going well. He basically said, sorry, that's my posted labor rate. I paid the bill and will never go back.

Exceptional customer service. Corey and his team saved the day when they helped me out of a bad situation. My wife and I really lucked out. This shop was able to address our emergency and get us back on the road a few hours later. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Would recommend to my friends and family.

I spent $600 on an alternator, just to come back a few months later because the bolts on it are jingling and have come loose. If I hadn't have noticed, I don't even want to think of what could have happened while driving. They were nice in trying to solve the problem...But I could have gone to someone on the street and had a better experience. I don't think I'll be back here again.

Great place to go get your car diagnosed! Not only do these guys diagnose your vehicle completely down to a T, the price is one of the lowest in town. To my knowledge they do all vehicles types. Highly recommend, worth every penny.

Very dissatisfied with service of my vehicle. I was charged 105.00 to put my car on the computer to see what was wrong with it and then told that it would be another 250 to fix. The bad thing is I have an older vehicle that can not be tested on a computer and then it turned out that the 250 was not even the total cost to fix all that was wrong. Took my car down the street, they diagnosed what was wrong right away with no computer fee for diagnosis and charged me 135 to fix everything, it all works great now. Unfortunately I am out 105 for a bogus diagnosis.

These guys are the absolute best and they keep it real. I took my car in for an alignment and they looked at it and found things that not even i as a trained mechanic could. They treat me like one of the crew and they are the best around.

Since Corey first opened the doors of Street Tech Auto, we've brought all of our family's cars there for maintenance and repairs. Professional, skilled, and always polite folks who listen for your needs - it's a rare business that you enjoy returning to year after year.
