Great Experience!!!!! Had my spark plugs done and passenger side turning light cover replaced,very knowledgeable staff very friendly I will be back for servicing

Took in my daughter's Volkswagen CC today to have them diagnose it and was extremely pleased with the service.Steve was polite on the phone and the other Steve, the mechanic was great. They took the car for a test drive, checked the codes and gave a very thorough inspection. They did not try to pressure me into anything.This will be my go to repair place for my daughter's VW!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Staff is great and attentive. Never had a issue with service. I bring in my BMW and Volkswagen cars for service here. Competitive pricing but because of their popularity wait times could be long. However, if you want knowledgeable mechanics and reliable service this is a great shop!

I went in to get an oil leak fixed and another issue worked on. I guess the first sign that I should have gone somewhere else was when my initial phone call with the owner turned into conspiracy about Bill Gates and microchips - you see where this is going. Anyway, I ignored the first warning sign and proceeded to send my car to them. Second warning came when the owner continued with the "covid is fake" b.s. and telling me about some q-anon type site he goes to. Third warning sign was after I picked up my car. I noticed on the way home that things like my hand sanitizer was missing, and some towels I kept in the back seat. When I got home I then saw that my rear license plate was missing, as well as a bicycle pump, windshield washer fluid bottle and some other odds and ends - a very eclectic array of missing things. I called the owner and immediately he tried to point the finger at the tow truck driver (???). I'm certain it was because they didn't lock my car up over the weekend and a homeless person probably took what they needed (hence my satellite radio and a few specialized tools were left behind). The owner thought that didn't add up since a newer, more expensive car was not touched -- I'm thinking YEAH, BECAUSE SOMEONE MADE SURE TO LOCK THE EXPENSIVE CAR! anyway, he didn't take any accountability on this at all. Final warning sign is, my car still leaked oil, so I went somewhere else (-wasn't going back to Dave's ever again), I went to Angelo's (much farther away) and they are telling me that the valve cover seal that Dave's supposedly replaced for almost $500, still needed to be replaced and then listed all the issues causing the oil leak that Dave's apparently missed or didn't bother to check. SO, I'm not saying this place is bad, It sounds like they do great work for some people. I'm just letting you know my experience was on the opposite end of that, so it's really a roll of the dice as to what you get there, just be prepared. And if your into conspiracy theories, I'm sure you will find the owner to be very entertaining.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

I thought they were a reputable business until they gave me a verbal quote for labor to replace my radiator, water pump and thermostat. I provided the parts as they were covered under warranty. When the car was finished, the price DOUBLED! I was told that they never would have quoted that price. Learned my lesson, NEVER trust someone to give you a verbal quote, even if the seem honest. I will never go back!

I feel very lucky to have found this place, I've been coming here for a few years now. They do great work, and what they charge has always been more than fair. I really can't thank these guys enough. It's never fun when something is wrong with your car, but anytime I have to get something checked out or fixed or just have some maintenance work done, I know I can trust these guys.

Steve was honest and a pleasure to do business with. Steve the mechanic was just as honest and concerned about my VW's issues. I will be returning my car for necessary repairs. I highly recommend Dave's European Motors

My vw broke while vacationing here, 1000 miles from home. I called half a dozen shops today and they all wanted around $180 just to look at it. I called Stephen and he squeezed me in even though they were totally booked and worked for an hour diagnosing my problem for no charge. I wish I could find a shop that I could trust this much back home. Incredible, honest, and knowledgable. This is the place you want to go! Thank you so much!

Love this place!I had a 2000 Volvo S80 which was an absolute lemon, and they knew it!I repeatedly brought it back because new issues constantly popped up because it was a bad car in general.Every time I brought it back they said Look man, we ll fix it, but you gotta get rid of this car, you re wasting your money, and it ll always keep breaking. $10k in repair bills later, I finally sold it, and based on their recommendations, I got a nice little 1994 Volvo 940 wagon.I took that 940 to Dave s for a pre-purchase inspection, they let me know what s wrong with it, I fixed everything they listed, and the car has been an absolute dream ever since.I put 100% trust in Dave s European to fix anything on my car and give me realistic advice on cars.The crew is awesome and friendly as well, which is a great change of pace for shops in the area.Take your car here if you want excellent customer service and quality repairs!

Had a trans failure message. Called and spoke to Randy. Took it in and met Stephen. Very friendly guy - made me feel at home. They read the code and asked me to come back and leave the car all day for trans fluid check. No charge
