Amazing customer service, and prices you can count on! My car was in a bad way and Montclair auto came through when I really needed it. There are some things in life so rare that when you come across one, you must grab onto it and hold on forever. An honest and skilled auto mechanic is one of these things.Ali is a class act, and we have been going to his shop for years. We only buy cars that he is able to take care of. Volvo is not always the most reliable car, but with Ali on our side, we would never buy another brand.

This place puts all other Bay Area Volvo Servicers to the curb. Absolute BEST care, communication, and efficiency. I wish I would have found them sooner.No others can compare. Ali & the team heard me out, talked me through their diagnosis, repairs, and I drove away feeling very assured my lil Volv got the best. Well priced too. Really, I couldn t recommend them more: Best! People! Best! Work!

Friendly, competent, and transparent service. Explained what needed immediate service and what could safely be deferred. Recommend. PS: the shop is located in a pretty, industrial Art Deco building in a walkable neighborhood so you can have some down time while waiting for your repair. Very fair prices.

I trust these mechanics with my Volvo and my husband's Subaru. Always a good experience! Even when everything is broken with your car baby... They will fix it, right, and fast!!

Outstanding, honest and efficient service. Fair and fair-minded. Great service and availability. Even fixes minor problems for regular customers at no charge. Been taking my Volvos here for nearly 20 years.

Love, love my 91 Volvo wagon it gives me pure nostalgia! I grew up in a family with a love for Volvo, my father owned a 65, 77 and 85 Volvo. He would tinker on them every weekend and I was right by his side!So, when the engine light came on for the first time, I freaked out and called my father. The place he used to take his Volvos to had closed! After reading the reviews and talking to a few Volvo owners, I decided to trust Montclair Auto. I dropped it off early morning; customer service was great; we also talked about other minor concerns. (my windshield sprayer had not been working for a while). I received a call that same afternoon, it was ready! The engine now purrs and they fixed the windshield sprayer! The price was very reasonable, not a deep pocket cringing payout! I will be bringing it back to see Ali.

This is the best place with the most honest professional and friendly staff and mechanics that can be found. I am considering keeping my Volvo with 245k/miles just to stay with them for their service.

I highly recommand Montclair Auto Tech. Ali is a very nice guy who just checked a used Volvo, that we were going to buy. As he found differnt things on it immidiatly that would have been quite a lot of money, he just called us and said he could go deeper into it and then he would charge us for the car check. As we decided it would be more than we could afford, he just wished us a nice day and didn't charge anything. So it saved us a lot of money. Thanks for that!
