I ve started using started using Steve s Auto Care since I moved to Marin a couple of years ago. He now takes care of both my Acura and my wife s car. He is fair and honest and tries to do what s right for the customer!

Been taking my cars here for a couple years. I used to be a home mechanic (changing the oil etc) but my wife was tired of all the old oil in the garage.Steve is a good guy and more affordable than the dealership. The cars are running well.

My experience with Steve was professional and courteous, and his assessment and repair work were spot-on. He was up front about having a busy day, but was still able to squeeze in my car for repair. My friend has been going to Steve for over 25 years! A trustworthy mechanic, I will be using Steve s Auto Care for years to come!

The most honest, best, and affordable mechanic I ve ever had. I have all good experiences with Steve and never had a problem. He s easy going and will never over price you. I have used Steve for 25+ years and this morning I just dropped off my car for some work. I never write a review about anything but Steve deserves it. If you are looking for a mechanic you just found him. Steve has done all of our work, except for a Dodge van we owned years ago. He didn't service Dodge products but that didn't stop him from putting it up on the lift to have a look at what was wrong with it and referring us to a mechanic that serviced Dodge products. And he didn't charge us to look at it. Steve is the best.Service: General repairs & maintenance

All around excellent service at Steve's Auto Care. Steve is honest and caring. I know when he tells me something needs fixed I won't be over charged and the job will be done correctly the first time. I am confident Steve won't tell me something needs fixed unless it truly does. His pricing is always fair too. I have had nothing but excellent experience with Steve's auto care and I highly recommend it!

I called Steve s Autocare to see if he could best a dealer quote I had for a 90K service on my car which included a very pricey engine flush of some sort. He suggested I bring by the car so he could visually evaluate whether it was necessary at this time. While there, he discovered the car was nearly out of oil and a tire extremely low, even though I recently had work done at the dealer.I was very impressed by Steve s professionalism, attention to care, attention to detail and his focus on the needs of the customer rather than the typical jacking up of an auto repair to milk as much as they could from the car owner. He has made me a customer for the life of my car. Thank you, Steve, you are a great businessman, aware that your incredible integrity will generate much more business in the long run.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Steve was doing a power steering rack and pinion repair job he said would be done by Friday because we wanted the car back for the weekend. Late Friday he called and said the replacement part was defective but he had ordered a new one and would come in Saturday to finish the job. He did!Outstanding customer service!I've been taking the same car to Steve for 10 years and will continue to so!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I just started using Steve for our Nissan and Infiniti and have been in 4 or 5 times. The customer service is always great and the pricing is very fair (especially compared to the dealerships). I knew Steve was my guy when he didn't want to charge me for fixing a rattle on our car that he figured out in about 10 minutes. I know the dealership would have charged me at least $200 or worse, told me I needed wheel bearings or something crazy. It's nice to have a mechanic you can trust who does quality work and won't try to sell you services you don't need. Glad I found Steve!

I am very pleased with Steve's service. I am from back east and was visiting my daughter. I took her car to Steve's as a gift for her and he was very helpful and accommodating. I wish there was a place back home as professional as Steve's.

It is so hard to find a good mechanic, but after reading about Steve's reviews, we tried him, and are so grateful we did. He is honest, ethical, talks to you about what is going on, and your options. His wife is the best too, in the office. Very sweet, courteous, and helpful. We don't worry about anything. They have our trust.

Steve was fully knowledgeable about my 1991 Acura NSX, as I remember that he told me he had worked for Acura back when this model came out. Steve and Miriam are very nice people. They have free candy !! Steve hides the fact that he is an expert mechanic and is a generous soul. I trust my car with them. Its a good value to have your car taken care of right here.

Steve is knowledgeable and treats his customer's cars like his own. He lets you know what to expect and when to expect it. He does not push services ahead of when they are needed. He has been servicing my family cars for years and I wouldn't want to go to anyone else!

Steve himself scheduled my appointment, took my key, accepted payment, and returned my key. Steve is professional, transparent, and honest. I would recommend this shop to anyone. We were referred to Steve by a friend of a friend. He said if you ever need a Japanese car worked on Steve's is the place to go to. At the time, I didn't have a Japanese car, but I wrote it down, because this friend was just so emphatic about it. Some months later, I ended up having a Japanese car to service, my daughter's, so I was glad to be able to take it there for a check in and oil change. I was very pleased with his work. He has fans for good reason. The waiting room was busy. I will go again when we need to.

Steve is the most knowledgeable, honest and hard working repair shops you will ever find. At this point in my life, I ONLY BUY cars that he can service. He and his wife are super nice people, too!

Your car is used every day. You use it to commute, to transport kids to and from school and practices, or just driving around on weekends for outings. When that gets interrupted and my vehicle decides to act up or just needs a routine check up, I call Steve. Steve listens and thoroughly checks your car(s). He has not let me down. I have even moved over an hour away and still drive to see him. My cars are a part of our family, Steve taking care of our family makes him family.
