Dave is rude, without any humility, stupid and belittles the customer. He has a lot of knowledge but at the same time he has the smarts to try to take advantage of it. perhaps the struggles of life made him this way. I will definitely never go back there. I went to do a specific service, he managed to find other defects in my car to earn some money since the service that needed to be done was beyond his reach, as his skills only solve problems with old Mercedez and not newer ones like mine 2021. be careful when choosing it.

Dave at APEX Motorwerks is awesome. If you have a Mercedes and you want a skilled and highly competent mechanic, then Dave is your guy. We have a 2008 Mercedes E350 sedan with 101k miles on it. We bought it from a Mercedes dealer in Monterey, CA with 25k miles. When we moved from Santa Cruz back up to the Bay Area, we took it to a Mercedes dealer and for some reason, even the smallest issues cost $$$$. Fortunately for us, my father-in-law recommended APEX. We have complete confidence in Dave when it comes to maintaining our Mercedes. Even though APEX is out in Novato, we still make the drive from Berkeley when our car needs a service.

Apex did outstanding work servicing my daughter s 2014 Mercedes ML350 SUV. It is obvious that Dave is about getting the job done right at a fair price. He is a true craftsman that knows the ins and outs of servicing Mercedes Benz.Dave takes the time to study the car to assure that the proper service is provided. I could not be happier with the work product and outstanding service. I highly recommend Apex / Dave for all of your Mercedes maintenance and repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Dave is wonderful and is an expert on any possible Mercedes issue one could possibly have! After years of many repair shops all playing trial and error, it is so refreshing to find one that really knows what they are doing and gets it done efficiently. I really appreciate Dave as he has chosen not to be greedy and be a jack of all trades, but instead a true Master at Mercedes! And I am thankful that Jeff at Matt and Jeff's Car Wash sent me to Apex.

They are only persons who works on my Mercedes CL500 and R350. I inspected and ran aviation maintenance facilities all over the US and Korea, I know a good shop when I see one. You will not be disappointed if you have Dave and Bert do the work on your car. They are fair, honest and don't waste you money when it comes to making your car right.

Dave is a trustworthy, professional, fair, amazing mechanic. You wont find a better place to have your Mercedes serviced. His shop is clean well organized and in a great location. Dont look anywhere else for a shop you can trust this is it, I wont go anywhere else.Larry

APEX is the shop I currently take my 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA250 to for maintenance/repair. I've taken my vehicle in to multiple shops around Marin County, as well as Mercedes Benz of Marin and Mercedes Benz of San Francisco; I've come to learn that APEX is more honest and reliable than all of the above. Owner Dave Ball charges a reasonable price, and the services rendered are first-rate. Dave tells it like is, and won't sugar-coat anything for you, which I very much appreciate. I've also never felt like I was being taken for a fool (even though I am basically a fool when it comes to auto maintenance/repair). The shop is very unassuming from the outside, but you know that old saying. When I move away from Novato, I am still going to take my vehicle to APEX; you can't put a price on trust.

Dave and his crew is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for an honest shop with incredible knowledge, go see these guy. The shop is clean with modern tech. They also can accommodate my Sprinter Van. 5 stars all around.

APEX was able to do same-day service of the starter / solenoid on my '07 Mercedes Sprinter, allowing me to leave for trip on-time. Great shop, high quality work, no nonsense. Will absolutely be back, and recommend everyone who needs service to check them out

Dave and the team at APEX are top notch, reliable, fair priced and above all, honest! You won't find a more knowledgeable Mercedes mechanic in the greater Bay Area. Quick story, when my mother passed away up in Oregon we were out doing the grocery shopping for the dinner after the service when my niece locked our keys in the trunk shortly after loading it full of the food for the dinner. Our only spare key was back at home in the Bay Area. I called Dave and he spent the better part of an hour and a half walking me through different ways to try and reset the system to pop the trunk. Who does that??? Happy to report we got the trunk open and food home safely in time for the after-service dinner that evening. Dave - You are the BEST!!!

Great Mercedes-Benz specialized shop. Main mechanic seems to be a guru judging by the many awards proudly displayed on the waiting area. Price was more that reasonable for a pre-purchase inspection of a prospect vehicle. If you are near the area, this is the place to take your Mercedes to.

Spoke on the phone with an employee of this company. He was RUDE, CONDESCENDING, ARROGANT, ENTITLED, and basically told me he doesnt care at all about my Mercedes C250. Maybe if I had an S63 AMG he would value ME MORE?!? HMM! LEARN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair
